As my name states, I am Bewildered! I just don’t know if I am loosing my ability to attract, or I’m just getting too old. I have been told that I still look pretty darn good for my age,
I just don’t want to chase a prospective away. By appearing to be needy. That is why I am here. To try something new. I was attracted to this sight for the scientific aspects of it all. I feel like at my age, the guys I might meet might be going through “mid life crisis”. And I feel like I would like to be in control of who I might attract. Which by the way has been zip, zero, nada!
I feel that I am over doing the “game” and it in turn is making me look “needy”, overzealous, when in reality, I am just an outgoing person(and I am really lonely). I am an Advocate, so therefore I have that personality to be everyone’s friend. And it carries over to my personal life. I have been a widow for 3 yr’s. and do miss the company of a guy. I am interested in someone who lost his wife 1 1/2 yr’s ago, to cancer. He is not interested in getting involved with another woman, cause he doesn’t want to feel that pain again. He hasn’t personally been with a woman for 8 yr’s, and I haven’t been with a man personally for 12 yr’s.(and at this point, I find it not necessary). He keeps backing away, I would just like a companion. He isn’t interested in a “personal” relationship(he is 68 and I understand that) So we are on the same page (kind of). But we can’t get there if he won’t open up a little to see that he can have a woman as more than just a friend (someone to cuddle with, and really enjoys their company, instead of just a cup of coffee). He has his guard up so high, I can’t touch him with a ten foot pole.
Long story short, that is where this comes in, I have the opportunity to see him about 5 times a month, (he lives 140 miles away). That is perfect to try your products. I am very interested in them. And find this a very unique situation.
A good question though, if someone becomes interested in you (because of your product) and you stop using it, will that person fall away, even though you have built on your relationship? Well, I guess I just answered that ?. He will remain, cause we have built something! Dah!
Hello and welcome Bewildered!!
I am sorry to hear of the passing of your husband, I imagine it must be hard dealing with that. Based on what you said, it sounds like a few different things might work well for you. Instant Sexiness B will help build your appeal towards him. I also suggest some of the socials. The socials will allow you to help build a better personalble relationship with him, which may in terms bring you to that goal of enjoying company, cuddling, etc.
The Socials I would suggest would be the Instant Shine, which would help getting you both in good moods, the IO, which helps you both open up, and lastly, the IH, which most importantly will help him to open up and be very honest with you in terms of his intentions, etc.
As for your question, I dont think you will have any issue stopping, as the pheromones arent likely what is making him “be with” you, but more that they help. Once he knows you more, the pheromones dont really play a BIG role, you just be you!
I must be going blind, don’t see “best answer to my post” Dah!
No worries, I cant see it myself, as its only something the poster can see. I have never seen it myself, since they added the feature after I joined!
Found it! ![]()
Hi, Bewildered, welcome! It’s nice to have you here. ![]()
I’m sorry for the loss of your husband. I don’t know the circumstances but I do know, no matter what, it’s never easy to “recover” from losing someone you so dearly love. I understand where you’re coming from and your need for companionship. The gent that you’re interested in hasn’t quite crossed that bridge yet and there’s no time limit on how long it might take him.
This is where the pheromones can, hopefully, help you to help him cross that bridge. You already have a foot in the door as he’s willing to spend time with you even if it’s for “just a cup of coffee”.
As far as chasing prospects away… let’s face it, the more “mature” a man is the more likely he is to have some kinda baggage. How someone handles mid-life often depends on how he’s lived his life up to that point. Some people are able to adjust to the inevitable changes more gracefully than others who might act out some juvenile fantasy or jump out a window to cope. As my father-in-law says, “Old age ain’t for sissies!” True that.
Mike the Man has given you good product suggestions and advice.
And I’ll add just a little to that, lol. ![]()
First, my dear, you ain’t too old for anything, so just dispel the thought! Not allowed, lol. You are a beautiful, smart, happenin’ babe and you got it goin’ on! If you don’t believe it, nobody else will either. Yes, the girl may be a little older but she’s still there and don’t you forget it. ![]()
If you think you’re turning him off with your “over zealousness” and therefore being perceived as needy, then dial it down a notch. Take your opportunities with him when you can. When you’re with him be cheerful/pleasant/upbeat but not to the point that you might make him feel uncomfortable. I mean you have to be who you are after all.
At this point you know him well enough to know how he feels about losing his wife and that he’s still in pain/not over it. He can’t be attracted to you in the way you want him to be because he’s still trapped/suppressed by grief. So, as much as you’d like to have his company and more, you can’t push it. Personally, I think 1 1/2 years is still a bit soon for a lot of people to jump back into any kind of close relationship especially anything remotely romantic but, of course, it depends on the person and the circumstances.
A very close friend of mine lost his wife and after about a year he thought he was ready to make the move to try dating again. He found out rather quickly, he wasn’t. In a nutshell… he met a few women on line and went out with them. He was only interested in one of them and they began dating… about six months later she moved in with him…and then a few months later he asked her to move out because he just wasn’t ready/sure. She did move out and, bless her heart, they kept seeing each other. She was hoping he’d come around and he did. About a year later she moved back into his place and they were married this fall. My husband was his best man for the second time. ![]()
On the other hand, my cousin met a woman on line and was married less than a year after his first wife’s death. So, ya never know which way the pendulum will swing until ya know.
So, Instant Shine and Instant Openness to start with. You can’t go wrong with Instant Shine. It’s very attractive on it’s own and has an uplifting/bright vibe that makes people around you feel good! IO is great for breaking the ice with others. It’s upbeat/chatty and makes approach/opening easier from both sides. IH is different in that it gives a feeling of deeper connection/familiarity and therefore conversation has a tendency to be of more “quality” than “quantity”.
IH is great but I hesitate to suggest it in your case, at least for the moment, because it can have a tendency to cause deep introspection often making feelings rise to the surface. It can take off in unexpected directions and under the circumstances, rather than making him feel close to you, I fear it might make him reflect on his wife and how close he was to her. So, it’s probably best to table that one for the time being because he’s still feeling so emotionally connected to her.
When you see him, don’t bring up the subject of his wife. If he starts on the downward spiral, my advice is to listen to him and be empathetic to what he says about her. Who better than you to understand where he’s coming from but don’t let him dwell on it. Do your best to steer the conversation in a more positive direction w/o being the too cheery Pollyanna. Maybe you can help him to move on by showing him the way it’s done. Maybe you can help him see that life is still worth living and that he has room to let you in.
People you love die but the love you have for them never dies. Time does heal but it’s still hard to go on and come to grips with that no matter who you are. The one thing you don’t want to do is lose yourself in the process too.
In the meantime, Ms. Bewildered, keep your eyes peeled for other prospects.
Live your life and let him see that you have one. Tell him about your activities so he doesn’t think you’re just sitting around waiting for him. Show him that you’re confident/secure in yourself and lead a happy independent life and aren’t looking for emotional security from him, just a bit of enjoyable mutual companionship. Hopefully, with some more time/healing on his part and patience on your part, he’ll eventually come around. ![]()
As far as being in control of who’s attracted to you, well, fuggedaboudit, lol. Oh would that we could!
That’s the thing where these molecules are concerned, they don’t discriminate. You might have your eye on the hottie in the corner but his dog-faced buddy has his eye on you! Rrrruff, in more ways than one!
All in your vicinity are subjected to your pherocloud whether you want them to be or not… and so it goes.
Have some fun with this and experiment by wearing your pheromones wherever you go. Spray them on, forget about them, go about your business and then at the end of the day make your observations.
Oh, if you haven’t, read the stickies at the top of each forum. A lot of “newbie” questions are answered there and the info provided will help you on your way to a better understanding how pheromones work. I know it’s a bit overwhelming right now but just take your time and you’ll begin to get a handle on things before ya know it.
I wish you luck, B! If you have anymore questions be sure to post them over in the women’s forum where the ladies will be more likely to see them. See ya over there!
Bella
I am very excited, I have just ordered my 1st set of Pher. Instant Honesty, Instant Shine x1, Instant Sexiness, I plan to hold off on the IS for awhile, as recom-mended. I’m hoping that the others will help open him up a little. I’m a little afraid of IH though, I might not want to hear what he has to say, honestly! Just take it easy I guess, I learn quick! He is just afraid to cross the bridge. He keeps telling his kids that he will never get serious again. Now he is saying it enough, for me to almost believe that he is now trying to convince himself. I feel he is close though, when we watch a movie, he will tell me to get comfy, and then go get me a comforter. He wants to please. I am the only “girl” FRIEND that he has had. So I feel this is a good sign. We are both Harley enthusiast, and we get along well together on the bike, no one has been back there either. So I’ve broken some ice. But it is wintertime now. Closer quarters, more stuck nights away from home.
A chance to get closer. and he is retiring in 2 wk’s. So he won’t be dragged away.
Well this will be exciting, can’t wait.
