Hello All,
I’ve been lurking and reading for a while and find all the posts very interesting and exciting. I think I have finally found the courage to make my first order.
I’m in my forties as is my partner and we are together 5 years and have lots of love and affection between us. The reason I am interested in pheromones is to help spice up our sex life and communication.
Communication
My partner is a very very quiet man. I mean extremely quiet. He barely says anything unless it’s about cars
. Don’t get me wrong, he is a very happy man, just doesn’t talk much.
He will chat if I start a conversation but it won’t last long and he will tend not to start very many conversations, he isn’t like this with just me, he is the same with everyone (he’ll talk to me more than anyone), he actually sees no reason to talk much, if someone asks him a question he will answer fully (if it requires a full answer, if it can be answered with a yes or no then that’s all he will say, I feel sorry for people sometimes when they are left hanging! He will rarely ask a question back, he doesn’t seem to have learnt the art of conversation, his father who brought him up is the same.
It can be uncomfortable when we are in a social situation as he will just sit quietly amongst the group, if it’s us and just one other couple or one other person it’s worse as there are less people around to cover up the fact that he isn’t interacting at all. When he does talk it will be about something that interests him, which is fine as most people do this, and he gets very animated which is lovely to see, I just wish he could do it a bit more often and be a little bit more fun.
Sometimes I can give him a wide eyes look and he will realise he’s not interacting so will then make an effort but it’s like he just can’t think of anything to say and it peters out after a while, I’ve given suggestions such as to ask someone how their day was etc. etc., we do talk about his lack of social skills - which don’t bother him, he’s actually quite happy sitting in company and listening (or not), but I would like a little bit more conversation, especially at family dinner time with my daughter.
Sex life
My partner was all over me at first and the desire he felt was palpable to me, but as can happen as time went on his amourous advances lessened, which is fine because who wants to be in the “honeymoon” phase forever
. But our sex life has gone very downhill over the last couple of years (which I think is quite early into our relationship as we were only together 3 years at that stage) so we are now on a once a week, vanilla type of sex routine. I’ve spoken about it to him numerous times but it’s like he just doesn’t have the desire until he’s gone without for a while. I stopped initiating once and we didn’t have sex for 6 weeks, I was pulling my hair out, he didn’t even notice it had been 6 weeks until I told him later, during yet another talk. Now I’ve given up discussing it with him, but we are too young and I’m not prepared to give up my sex life for a long time… I do find myself moving in and out of a small depression when I think about it, generally feeling down in the dumps at least 2-3 times a week, I also don’t sleep very well thinking about it, I am so attracted to him that I am always feeling like having sex but it’s no fun when you have to initiate with your man and he’s doing it because sex is on offer rather than wanting it.
We hug and kiss and are very very affectionate with each other, I love him a lot and have no doubt at all of the strength of his love for me. I am always turned on at the sight of him, his body is lovely! But I don’t think or feel he is by me anymore unless he has had at least one day off work and a long lie in with no work the next day - he needs a lot of rest time and he is a very hard worker
.
He has gone from being very sensual and adventurous to standard missionary position, from exploring every inch of me to barely any exploration at all. On top of that he is also going soft during intercourse, which he says he isn’t bothered by as we can switch to doing something else and we both always get satisfied, (well for my physically away, emotionally not so much) and I don’t want to bring it up too much in case it starts to get him down despite that he is a super confident person. His lack of open desire is making my sex drive go down too so I’m trying to rescue it for both of us before we turn into a sexless couple.
He eats very healthily, take supplements and exercise and has recently given up smoking, he drinks very little, maybe a beer or two on his night off, if that.
So I’m looking to use pheromones that will put some fire into his loins again, and if possible help with losing his erection? I’m not looking for anything for him to use, I’ve no intention of telling him I’m using pheromones. And I’m also wondering what to use to help him become just a bit more sociable.
Affects of Pheromones on Children.
This is where I am nervous or perhaps even a bit hopeful.
I have two children one of whom is disabled intellectually, my girl is 13 and my boy is 9 (he has the intellectual age of about 18 months - 2 years). My child’s disability can also add to the feelings of depression that I can experience, these aren’t deep depressions but rather sadness.
The Nervous Part: If I were to wear pheromones and the children were about, how would it affect them if at all. Should I not put any on until they are gone to bed?
The Hopeful Part: Is there a pheromone that I could wear that would impact on my boy positively, he is non-verbal but verbalises through babble and baby noises, he is a very happy and sociable little soul, but makes no eye-contact. I am wondering if there was a pheromone I could wear that would help him feel comfortable in making eye-contact and maybe even help him to try to “speak” or communicate a bit better, he doesn’t have any awareness of how to communicate his needs? Is this too far of a stretch to hope for??
Looking forward to getting any advice - should I make a separate thread with all of my questions above as I know this is just the introduction thread but I see others getting their advice here and being asked for more info if they haven’t posted enough, maybe I’ve posted too much ![]()
Looking forward to using the forum properly and interacting. I’ll be making my first purchase as soon as I’ve learnt what to use for my issues!
