I’m also going to say: have faith in yourself. Be who you are and let other people work out whether they want a relationship with you. Don’t second guess them. You might be right some of the time but you might also be wrong and how many of us miss out on amazing opportunities because we make assumptions about how other people will react? I know I used to miss out all the time.
Sure, now I make an ass of myself sometimes but there is a whole world that is unfurling because I am not letting my own negative perceptions of myself get in the way. That voice that tells you you can’t do something, or someone won’t say “yes” is just that - a little voice. Tame it, work against it, and try. What’s the worst that happens? Embarassment that you can deal with. The best that might happen is what you should be focussing on.
