I’m a new user, saying “hello” to receive my gift certificate for $25 toward the products advertised per the promotion.
I’m researching brand strategy and referee potential in clinical trials as part of a consultative sales methodology.
Personally, I side with the emerging published refereed studies that indicate humans have no behavioral response to pheromones. As a marketing gimmick, I think it’s powerful until clients start snooping around in scientific journals from accredited academic institutions.
I’m interested in the any experiences people have had, though, and am particularly curious about the effectiveness of these products as a placebo.
Thank you for the generous gift certificate, and for creating a great community!
Awesome, read around and you will find plenty of stuff. If it is placebo I am cool with that if it increases my sales numbers like I think it is. So give us some details about yourself and maybe we can find something that would give you a firmer understanding of what they could do for you. (like spraying yourself 6x with instant openness and instant honesty and sitting down in a meeting.
Placebo or not everything in my signature that I like has worked for me… and I 100% believe it is NOT placebo as a placebo doesn’t change the behaviour of others when they do not know about application.
As mentioned above if you want to test things, I’d start with Instant Openness and heavy dose it (4-6 sprays) and see how people change, if you are going to be close quarters with someone for an hour or two you could do the same with Instant Honesty.
Well if you want to see if they’re placebos or not, buy some TUTH and spray like 4 to 8 sprays on one object and see how you feel
If you want to get turned on on off though, try one or two sprays on your pillow before you go to bed. You’ll either be turned on or irritated all night (apparently it’s heavily dependant on where a woman is during her cycle and also influenced by past sexual experiences).
As for the studies, there is at least one researcher that proved that at least a pheromone or two would affect a woman’s cycle and another did a study on I think on how women perceived how attractive they though various subjects were or not via photographs, but you’ll have to look it up. I tried for another person a few weeks back but couldn’t find it again.
