Stevo,
“This person” was probably me. And yup, I did curse a specific individual and I replied in like manner to another indivdual.
It’s a shame that I have to explain this. Please don’t defend a person that got what they deserved.
Please don’t get involved in someone else’s arguement. This amazes me…a site regular provokes a fight by providing negative comments via an unwarrented rebuke or reprimand of a specific individual in a conversation that does not involve them but that they somehow perceive to require their specific intellect and authoritative wisdom.
Stay out of it…This “Tift” was between me and the person that started this. If the person attacking me had the Gaul to attack/reprimand me in a conversation that did not concern them and was not directed towards them in the first place, then that person should be able to handle anything he/she receives in response to sticking their uninvited nose into someone else’s argument without additional backup from his or her little girlfriends..
This type of involvement reflects small mindedness and childishness and reminds me of the catty little girls in Junior high school teaming up against someone they perceive to be weaker or different and don’t like…My God. I saw this type of “teamwork” in the office sitting among adults as wel,l before I retired…Pitiful…
I truly do not understand why people feel the urge to jump into arguments between two other individuals that does not concern them for the purpose of delivering their “two cents” worth of reprimands or catty remarks. Why not just let the two people that are originally involved hash it out? It usually does work out when others don’t get involved.
Unfortunately, and in keeping with the average group mentality, this specific incident has moved beyond that point and has developed/degraded into the junior high school level situation…people offering help to others and keeping the fire lit in a conversation or argument that does not concern them. Amazing.
I saw one comment since this started that was an intelligent comment. Lor stated that she thought it may be a good idea to provide a means to converse with people that become upset to find out what exactly caused them to get upset…that’s a good idea…most emotionally stable people don’t become angry for the purpose of causing trouble…although I have met some that do.
Lor, my complimenting your intelligence and your idea is not an effort to recruit you. Not that you would think it was an effor to recruit you; but in the past it seems when someone does have something positive to contribute in situations like this and receives a compliment for it by the one being attacked, the person receiving the compliment feels they need to make it clear that they are not taking sides…of course with this crowd, that point may need to be made.
So Steveo, I have no argument with you; however, if you feel you need to join in a conversation that does not require you input and provide reprimands for the either the language I used or my style of defending myself, I will respond.
