Hey there!

I came across this forum by accident, while looking up reviews on fragrances. I hadn’t thought about pheromones in a while, to be honest. About two years ago I tried Pherlure and it really didn’t do anything for me. So I kinda disregarded pheromones after that. Anyway, recently I started trying out a lot of higher-end fragrances. One of them has musk and civet mixed in, and on me, it seems to get a really interesting reaction from people. In fact, the last time I wore it while out drinking and partying, two friends (a straight guy and straight girl - neither of whom I’d want to hook up with cause we’re all off-limits to each other) actually started nibbling on me cause they loved the scent so much. Like, I literally had to peel them both off of me - more than once. It was funny, but a bit ridiculous! So anyway, now I am even more curious about how people react to scents and all of that stuff.

Ok, so about me… Mid-twenties, bi, male, student in Toronto, ON, Canada. I’m a moody guy who can go back and forth between being the alpha-male to the more quiet, brooding type. I’ve heard myself described as being the dark, mysterious type, who everyone notices as soon as he walks into a busy room, but who is sorta unapproachable. On the other hand, in certain social settings I know I am pretty friendly and I must seem approachable, because people get super chatty with me and regularly seem to feel comfortable enough to start spilling their guts to me without me ever asking anything, then wind up trying to hug and touch me lots. Now I’ve had a ton of crazy stuff happen in my life, but I need to get back into the whole dating scene again and just start rebuilding my social life. So one thing I’d like to get out of pheromones is a little bit of a self-boost. I react pretty strongly to scents (perfumes and people’s natural scents too), so if this stuff works then I should get a reaction for sure. Plus I get a lot of good, random comments about how I smell in general, from guys and girls, even if I am just hanging around home or wherever and am not wearing cologne or anything at all - sometimes before I even have a shower too. So obviously people react to my kinda scent too, right? Anyway… As far as attracting other people… Like I said, I’m bi. I guess I do sway more to the gay side, but ideally I’d like to attract both guys and girls. If I could be specific, I’d like to attract gay guys and straight, single girls… cause usually I attract straight guys, older/married women, and lesbians. Obviously that’s not very useful! So some help would be great! LOL! =P

Other than that, mostly I just want to learn a bit more about this stuff. The forum so far seems to have a ton of info, but it’s a bit overwhelming!

Any suggestions on what I should try first are welcome! I’m hoping to buy a few things within this week. I don’t feel like I need to be limited to the main mixes that are available. I don’t mind using more specific things - if that seems like it’d be good for me. As a noob, I’m going on faith here though! Btw I do like to wear colognes and stuff, so I’m a bit concerned about how this stuff will layer with those… Ok ok! I guess that’s all for now!

Hey dude, welcome to the forum.
Now I’m not an expert on your particular needs but given what you describe, it sounds like Mystery Boy would be ideal. Not only because it’s designed for gay men, but it’s supposed to be a very fun, light and carefree sorta vibe which sounds like something you might need to improve approachability. Other products that can help in that area are Instant Shine and Instant Openness.

You gave lots of good info. You may be best off calling Androtics directly and see what they recommend, because right now Mystery Boy is out of stock.

I would suggest Instant Openness, Instant Shine, Instant Gentleman, and maybe Instant Honesty. Instant Shine and Openness will create something like Mystery Boy if I remember correctly. Obviously they aren’t Mystery Boy, but that is close as you can get right now, I think!?!?! Instant Gentleman will definitely garner the attention of both sexes. it’s a warm, charismatic, dependable vibe.

I am just offering you a starting point for your searches. I do highly recommend the 1st 2 though. Since you have a very good idea what your looking for I think the people at Androtics would set you up NICELY based on your scent preferences, specific product needs ect. So I would call them.

I hope someone comes along and can better point you in a specific direction. Regardless welcome to the forum and enjoy yourself here.

Thanks for the welcome! I was interested in Mystery Boy, but it seems to have been out of stock for a while. Plus, I mean… I think I read that some of the guys who tried it felt like it seemed a bit feminine or something. I don’t want that kind of side effect at all - even if it’s just the scent. lol

Well I would think the standard combo would suffice here actually. Ishine to create a sense of confidence and well being. IO to add that carefree happy to chat vibe and Ammo to say I am a sexy man.

If you feel you need to make a deeper connection with people I would maybe also add IH to build comfort. With the IO and IH you could add more IO to IH to create fun loving happy chatter, without gibberish or reverse that and you get deep open communication. With the Ammo start off really light, like one spray. I suspect you are producing lots of NONE and its why you are attracting the older women.

They do and did Steve is on the AD staff… They have e-mails. I personally am not a phone guy myself. I was just thinking with you being sensitive(to scents) or wondering a lot about scents it might be better to ask your questions direct. I would say though that every member on this forum will try to answer your questions to the best of their ability or point you in the right direction at least. Never be afraid to ask and the search function is nice too, but sometimes is difficult to find EXACTLY what your looking for.

Yep. This is a huge help! Thanks. I was definitely thinking of trying Ishine and this sealed the deal. I was curious about CTTM2, but I guess that’s not available now so maybe I’ll start with IO. What do you think about Alpha A314 for me too? ( sorta like the layers you mentioned here: An Introduction to Mones: Names, Size, Strength, Use, Effects & Duration - #7 by SteveO )

I was also thinking of trying TUTH. What do you think if I used the same combo above, for a night out, but swapped the Ammo for TUTH in that case? Do you think it’d be too much -none for me? (IJ has me insanely curious too, but it might not be a good match for me and I don’t want to get carried away all at once! lol!) I do wish Mystery Boy and Spaceland were still available though, cause they seem like they’d be major fun at parties! =)

Also… Do you have any clue what the hell might be triggering the interest of straight guys and lesbians in me? It’s cool and flattering, but really, really baffling!!

Btw, you had mentioned IG before. I read that it can be good to make younger guys seem a bit older. Do you think that’s usually the case? I don’t really want to seem much older or anything and pretty much everyone describes me as being dependable, but I can see how more of this would be useful too…

Oh and to everyone: Would you recommend starting out with the To Go sizes? I think Steve said the to go sizes can give up to 40 sprays. Do you think that’s enough to do some trials before I order larger sizes?

IMO at first it may be easier to try IG to see if you might want to step it up a notch and get A314, but now that A314 also comes in a spray it doesn’t hurt the pocketbook as much. SEARCH the word “congruent”. I LOOK very young for 29 and I have never gotten over 25 guessed as to what my age is. I usually get guessed at 21-23. Damn boyish good looks.:stuck_out_tongue: I will say this I get 25 guessed more now than I did prior to IG or A314. So I guess you could say “older”, but It doesn’t make a 50yo look older if that makes sense. It makes me look older because I look like a 13yo :smiley: so younger guys can look older with it, but if your older it doesn’t make you look even older.

I started with all 30ML and A314, but I jump in with both feet. ended up getting TUTH in a 30 right off the bat and wished I would have gotten a togo, because it’s not meant to be a daily wearer. It’s a right before the condom goes on type of product. Of course you can use it just out for fun, but MOST people will give you the same advice I did, especially with you being new. There is no problem with togos and for trying out products it may be the best way and most cost effective to boot.

About who you are attracting. I would have to say your too “MANLY” fem it up a bit :stuck_out_tongue: Honestly though like Steve said you may produce a lot of natural -none which is why straight males engage you and lesbians too. I may be wrong but lesbians might actually be MORE comfortable around you because they think/know your a homosexual and don’t feel you’ll hit on them. Also it could be that the -none makes men aggressive or think your a manly man and are comfortable around you because they DON’T think your a homosexual or even Bi for that matter. IDK if that made any sense at all, but hey what the hell right :wink:

Well you can now get A314 in a spray and its a solid product. While a bit different in its effects from the oil (much faster reactions) its a great way to sample it without breaking the bank. The A314 1.23B is the closest match to the oil IMHO. The reason I didn’t mention it is because in your own words you said you can come off as unapproachable. A314 will amplify that all the time. You have a very high-status ALPHA vibe and as an alpha you are expected to start and carry the conversation. Suffice it to say that someone who already appears unapproachable will really be with it even more so.

CTTM was a mix of IO/IH and that’s why its old and obsolete. It was OK while we had it but you cannot custom fit it to the scenario’s that I mentioned above. Some situations you’ll want more of one than the other. You’re best bet is the individual products.

TUTH is raw sexual aggression. Like you are walking around with your dick in your hand. It is not buffered and says you are a sexual man. Where as Ammo is the sexy man rather than the sexual man. Ammo is also buffered to eliminate the aggressive (let me get the hell away from you) aspect of NONE. NONE attracts older women! NONE also sends a signal to straight guys that you are a leader, a stand up guy, someone who they should be friends with. See where I am going with this? That’s why I mentioned you most likely are producing lots of it anyway. Its your choice though :slight_smile:

IJ serves a valuable purpose. It lets nice guys like me get that bad boy feel without having to change core values and principals. It’s Ammo and TUTH X10.

Now IG might actually work very well for you. Come over as young and alpha like A314, but warmer, more charismatic and approachable. Actually a great recommendation.

MB was good stuff. I’m completely into women, but I wore MB because it was super social and fun vibe. I paired it with something sexual and masculine and got great results from the ladies. My research (only from experimenting - I do not have access to formulary) tells me it was a combo of IO, Ishine and some Ammo with just a tad of some female molecules in there. Just didn’t sell enough and too expensive to make so that’s why it went away.

I know this is off topic but I have had this said in a few threads and am a bit confused.

If a guy seems to be straight and he is attracted to a guy or is supposedly straight and then has relations with a guy doesn’t that mean he wasn’t straight in the first place.

Ok then. IG sounds like it might be a good fit after all. As long as I’m sleeping well and not sick, I also often get mistaken for being younger - sometimes people think I’m still in high school, meanwhile I’m doing prep stuff before applying to grad schools lol! Oh yeah. Thanks for the congruent thing. That’s useful to remember!

I get what you’re saying about the attraction thing. It’s still confusing cause sometimes it’s not just me guessing that they’re attracted to me. It’ll actually be them hitting on me pretty directly or sometimes commenting to others. If they feel safe around me, is it normal to feel so safe that they’d actively hit on me or directly comment on the attraction (and even say how they never feel like this, except with me)? I dunno. It’s weird!! But good theory. I’ll figure it out someday, maybe with some help from you all! :slight_smile:

Ok based on that, A314 sounds pretty wrong for me. It’s true that I might want to get back to feeling more self-confident, but I really don’t want to come off as more alpha than I already do. And I get your point about IO/IH. Makes a lot of sense. Every situation is different and it’s better to be able to adjust things. TUTH and IJ both sound like they’d be a bit ridiculous on me. lol. I think maybe I’ll try one or the other down the road, once I get a better sense of how all of these things work - for experiment purposes. And yeah, I’m definitely putting IG on the list!

Do you have any clue what female molecules might have gone into something like MB or what might have that effect? MB really sounds like a fun thing to try! (And I guess because of cost it won’t be coming back anytime soon either.)

I think Domnk posted about getting some insanely cool results from TAL. That’s considered a more female molecule, right? Since I’d be going with the recommendation of Ishine, IO, Ammo, and IG… would layering some TAL when I wanted something more light and fun work? Would I just add it to those or replace one of those? (I know. A lot of this will be based on how things actually work with me and my own body chemistry.) But do you think this could work? GorMas2020 was, jokingly I think, suggesting I fem it up a bit. Could this do that, so that I don’t have to really change my demeanor too much? Or am I way off base here?

Sorry for all the questions, but I’m pretty clueless! lol! Anyway hopefully once I try stuff out I can start a journal here and help other people too! :slight_smile:

About the straight/gay thing… Human sexuality is a funny thing that can probably be debated for ages. Some people think sexuality can be fluid. Some will say that sexual orientation is about how a person chooses to identify and also based on the majority of their experiences. So in that case, a straight guy (guy #1) who has always dated women, but had a thing for one guy (guy #2), once in a while, then goes back to being women-only when guy #2 is out of the picture… well the thing with guy #2 is then more of an oddity to guy#1’s norm, so guy #1 would still identify as straight. (shrug) I dunno. (shrug) Some people say everyone is really bi and we all fall on some point of the spectrum. That allows for a few people to be 100% gay or straight, but most people could be anywhere else along that spectrum. Well… Lots of theories, but who knows. It’s all interesting, but people are too damned complicated for me to try to ever completely figure them/us all out. It’s fun trying sometimes though lol! :cool:

LOL! Yeah, yeah. I got it and had a good laugh. But hey, if someone wants to fem it up or they’re just fem by nature… that’s cool by me too. No probs!

But I guess the idea is to kinda soften the alpha thing, without losing the positive stuff that comes with alpha male traits. Maybe TAL will help? Maybe something else? Hell if I know! :smiley:

I wasn’t really suggesting either, especially since bot are out of stock. I was just mentioning these two as the most reported on with feminine characteristics. There are others that you are right about :slight_smile:, you’ll need to do some research :wink:.

I just placed my first order. I got Ammo, IO, IH, IG, and Ishine - as planned. I also got IJ and TUTH just to experiment and see how crazy the effects will be on me! I just got the To Go sizes for now. I hope that’ll be good to get a sense of what works for me and what doesn’t, before I am ready to place another order.

I actually got my order already. I haven’t been home and have been super busy, but I did two quick tests (with the sprays on me) while hanging out with one of my cousins - just to see if either of us would notice any change in our behaviour and how we felt. We did! Ishine sorta gave both of us a pretty immediate boost - a kind-of bright, pick-me-up feeling. IO made us very, very relaxed and almost a bit woozy at first (but this was also after a few drinks lol). IH was similar to IO, with a little less wooziness and more solid conversation. IJ was used after a few of the others, cause we were too curious at that point! Only thing is that this means IJ was layered on, after the others were already present. At that point, the IJ was more of an instant buzzkill than anything else. But we both commented on how sharply the mood changed within seconds after spraying IJ on me.

I’ve gotta say, we were both pretty surprised to get such immediate and similar reactions. (Note: My cousin knew that I was spraying some kind-of pheromone product and she obviously saw the names of each of the labels, but she knew nothing else of the products, this site, or all the reviews and commentary here. So it was interesting to see that she reacted similarly to me when I tried this stuff! Now I am even more curious to do experiments! LOL!)
