It depends on what he thinks pheros do and what he seeks to accomplish with them. I know that when my cousin used them, he was coming from a bad mindset. He never told me exactly what he expected from pheros but he basically said he would line up five different dates in his week so he would get lucky at least once and if things needed a push, he used the phero cologne. I would not want to be with a guy in that mindset, pheros or no pheros. Disrespecting women is just foul.
But if he just used them for an edge socially, in his career, in romance, that’s cool. I like people who strive to improve themselves and don’t stop at correcting weak points, but actually improve when they are doing alright.
I did in fact know a guy who either used pheros, had just the perfect genes for me or had a godlike natural cloud. When I would sit next to him, I’d feel really calm and wanted to sniff him, then when I went away from him, I’d feel kind of down. I would also have all sorts of sex dreams about him at night. Then if I had not seen him 3 day, he was erased from my mind. Maybe he never noticed the effect on me, he had a girlfriend so I did not flirt or anything. He was tall, generally a nice guy and good company, but also average looking and bit of a dorky guy and not all that compatible. If he was single and asked me to see a film with him, I would have gone and would probably not have without the good smell. So whatever it was it worked to change my feelings and within limits it could have changed what I was responsive to.
I may be a bit unusual in that most of the time, I actually am aware that I am falling for a guy’s smell, or his bodylanguage and posture, or the little expressions in his face. I always question the attraction as a matter of habit. If it is not proportionate to the good qualities I see in a person, I’m on my guard. (Like the situation above.) But if he is basically a decent guy, attractive enough and compatible with me to the point where I’m glad we met, I would not mind if he used pheros to secure the first date. Another guy may use smooth talk, a third bodybuilding.
It might be very different for a girl who just thinks that because she feels good when she is with him and has sex dreams, this is love and then she sleeps with a guy she normally would not and it does not turn out the way she expected. People feel remorse when their expectations are crushed. If you are incompatible or not available for the kind of relationship she needs or have an ugly character and there is grief, there may also be anger.
It is kind of like marketing; if you use a flashy commercial to sell a faulty product, you may make a buck, but people get angry too. Yet if you fail to properly promote a good product, you don’t make money.
