Hmm, Androtics in the News...

Well, it would appear that whoever decided to try out Androtics products from this company obviously decided to make a farce out of it and didn’t do us any favors here… not to mention they said at the end it’s a pig pheromone and compared it to celery… thanks a bunch…

They did do a favor. The less people use, the greater our edge.

Aye, but the more people that use, the more goodies Androtics can afford to put out for us to play with. A conflict of interest if i ever heard one… :stuck_out_tongue:

Sounds like time to enter politics.

I do believe thats TUTH and if the lunk head did his research correctly he would have had much better results although they did say it smelled nice and it seemed to peak there interest a little. LOL Dosnt look like he will ever be a good reporter.

Tisha

Yup, they said they were testing TUTH and IH in the video. But i mean… come on.. they were outside in an open area, walked up to random people, and expected an Axe commercial from having a girl smell your neck. Those are the only results that would count? :stuck_out_tongue:

that’s like running one pattern of speed seduction and then saying, “do you want to jump into bed with me?” with a camera pointing at her and a microphone in her face. are you really expecting her to say yes? what a bunch of morons. one lady said, she had a stuffy nose. lmao, very scientific study right there. NOT.

Well we all know he needed to find his dosage which he didnt.

He needs to give them more time to process and he didnt.

He made them aware of the mones which in many cases will make them objective.

But notice they did mention it smelled good. The blond lady who was older then the rest was beginning to give some cues.

Now what ya’ll should do is head on over to You tube and tell him if he wants to be a reporter at least research how to use them correctly, find out what to expect and what they are derived from. The Doctor told him in the beginning that humans make them and he just assumed they where pig mones. I kinda feel sorry for him because he will never make a good reporter unless he gets all the facts.

Maybe we should tell him to OD and one of those guys can kick his ass. Now that would be funny. LOL

Tisha

Interesting video there  Thanks Mr Feel Good, now we know the media is interested in pheros here  And i agreed with Lady Tisha that someone should give him a kick in the ass :stuck_out_tongue::smiley:

Lunk head? He’s a flat F’ing idiot!

Hey folks, smell me! I just sprayed myself with some voodoo crap that’s going to make you want to jump my bones…Is it working?

It’s not that he’ll never be a good reporter because he didn’t do his research, he’s to stupid to understand how chemical transmitters work, and how to properly run a trial.

The doctor wasn’t much better, as she just zoned in on pheros only as sexual stimuli.

Time Out New York, I see them on the streets all the time interviewing people. I think most of them are amateurish and would not even call them mainstream.

But still as pheros catches on especially once ammo goes in dept stores, reporters are going to go on the attack and you are going to see all sorts of horrible misleading facts, it just happens with the media, you cannot let it bother you

Agreed.

Touche.
Adrotics is a great company that deserves the resources required to further their goals, however, I can’t help but worry about the consequences of commercial success…

La Pew,

I recall a post from Jasmin regarding the commercial ammo launch, she said that there will be hardcore cutting edge stuff available for us, the mainstream ammo wouldn’t be in the same league. I imagine that to mean that, if the world get’s something from Ford or Chrysler, we’ll get Ferrari or Aston Martin

Imagine what goodies await us in the secret world if the mainstream makes millions of dollars for androtics.

It’s a win win situation! either way I’m going to hell, backwards, drunk, on fire and stinking of -none

first you cant trust the whole 10 seconds with any one-person on tv as being more than the thought “omg! im on tv!”

second he didnt use it proper.

third there arent enough pheromones in the world to cancel-out dumb.

i see this as no more than someone uneducated in the use of a product and then using it for their entertainment purposes.

he’s a failed comedian.

I can’t believe I just wasted my time watching this retarded video; who in the world does this? That’s like going up to a female stranger and asking her if she wants to fuck (plain rude and non-human acting.) Who does that? Fuck, it pisses me off even more because I put so much time and effort into my reporting and testing of these awesome products and in return have to deal with this retard bashing the products we all know work? That’s like bashing someone on doing a good job, or similar. Basically it’s like he’s bashing all of our hard work on all these reports we all put our love, effort, and time in.

I’m a father with a wife, and 11 month old son who is pretty busy with his family, baby, and work but still try to find the time to report because I know these products work and also for the love of this awesome community, awesome customer service, and the great help of everyone involved on these boards (and the smartmones store.) So when someone bashes Androtics, they in return bash us and our hard work.

But you know what? MORE FOR US!!!

LOL. No pheromone product in the world is going to fix that amount of ugly. haha.

I have to agree with his cynicism of Instant Honesty. Don’t get me wrong. I’ve experienced those wonder Beta Androstenol induced outbursts in people. Cynicism purely on basis of it’s name. I know it’s easier to sell “Instant Honesty” then it is “Beta Androstenol”

He recognizes this as well. Hence his whole sarcastic remark before he applied it. If it had a clinical name like “Beta Androstenol” he’d have actually had to take the time to further elaborate upon the compound. Instead of mocking the marketing names that are behind totally awesome chemical compounds.

Richard Hammond did a much better job:

At trying to be funny about it.

I wonder if he did it all in one afternoon and sprayed the TUTH on for each interview. The people at the end seemed to be standing farther from him than at the beginning. Neroli bomb!

Well, please consider that we bend over backwards to gather information – sometimes for several years – before naming anything. We then name a product as accurately as we can based on ample observation and feedback.

Using clinical sounding names is actually behind many fraudulent products. Especially weight loss products these days. Using big or complex sounding words around people who don’t understand them often says nothing. It can create a sense of intimidation, authority and confusion, which a predator can then take advantage of. “We use words you don’t understand, so we must know something you don’t know”.

consumerlab.com sometimes covers this type of fraud. Monty Python even acknowledges it, with a skit that uses the made up chemical “Fraudulin”.

“Honesty” is not something most people want, especially from a pheromone (which breaks the cardinal rules in marketing: give people what they want and don’t challenge any assumptions). Rather, it’s a mostly accurate description of one aspect of what the molecule actually does. It’s a word that’s well within the vocabulary limits of most people (even most college grads are capped at a vocab of something like 1200 words). It’s an honest effort to try to connect one reality of this molecule with something that most people understand. An attempt at true communication, so people don’t pick this up with the expectation of getting laid.

“Deep Rapport” is perhaps an even better description of what the underlying molecules does (and honesty is one of many side effects of deep rapport, really), but most people don’t know what the heck “rapport” means.

Our effort to give things reality-based names don’t help sell products at all. It actually repels people, because it doesn’t jibe with what they’ve heard about pheromones in the movies. You don’t want to disagree with your potential customers. Being honest in this way is an attempt at real long-term progress in R&D and trust with the public. It’s not good sales-generating marketing. (which is why we’re giving marketers a bit more liberty w/Ammo to use cute stories, humor and dramatization, sort of like Axe does – but we’re still insisting they don’t outright lie, defraud and make up fake studies, testimonials and lab analysis like most companies do)

If you look at other companies, you see that seductive names that work with people’s preconceptions of pheromones come before any sliver of reality. They just tell 'em what they want to hear, even when selling something innocent like alpha androstenol (like they do in that cool Brainiac video you posted!) That sells far more product than we could ever hope to with our insistence here on reality.

I hope you understand the often monumental amount of effort that goes on here vs. the “tell em’ what they wanna hear & dump something in the bottle” type guys. This isn’t a business in a box or a scheme here. We love people. We also love science and progress. We try our very best to see what these interesting molecules really do. We look closely at how they can improve people’s daily lives, so we can name them as accurately and as honestly as we can.

The first thing I said to Wolf after watching the vid was, WTF kinda reporter is this guy? First, it’s hardly what I consider reporting. Heh. What it is… is Infotainment. Number one rule of reporting…get the facts. Where’s Sgt. Friday when ya need him? OMFG, these people make me laugh. I mean with such informative reporting as that, WTF is the, uniformed though perhaps curious, general public suppose to think? I’m torn between jumping up and down screaming out the truth…or quietly sitting back and coveting my secret treasure.

It’s a shame in the respect that… where the hey do you get that kind of free air time? On one hand it’s great to get the word out. On the other hand…this guy was such a dufuss/whack job, I wouldn’t want him to represent or even speak to anything for me. Talk about misrepresentation. But that’s how these things work on a limited budget. They don’t have the time or money to invest in a focus group. That’s how they do things on a twenty -four hour news cycle. It’s a crime you can’t depend on the news for actua,l factual, in depth reporting. That’s the bottom line.

Of course it also depends on how ya look at it… some say that any publicity is good publicity.

How about us? Ain’t we sumthin’? We all know more about how pheromones work than most of the medical community. Clearly.

I love us.

Tell ya this…the little girl with the hat liked him…lol.

 …lol.

Bella

Another thing that really steams me, is knowing that April, Jamie, and the other ship girls probably packaged THAT guy’s shipment with love and probably even included a free gift (or chocolate) all for THAT lame purpose and use? I mean just like Bella said sometimes bad publicity is good publicity but seriously, this guy just ended up looking like a tool and really just proved to ourselves just how much smarter we truly are compared to that thing.
