How can you see effects or compare situations?

Hirogen,

Hi there. We all want you to succeed (smile).
Have you noticed any SELF EFFECTS at all?
That was one indicator to me that pheromones (besides science research on wild life, insects, etc) actually are working. I have noticed every time I have worn them so far - I have a reaction, sometimes it starts out with WOW DIZZINESS that I notice. Then I notice my own mood changing slightly. I am a really tough sell too.
i have noticed that the dosages that I wear are fairly high, when I can choose dosage of a product I usually start with at least 30 mcg’s…that way I am not wasting time with lower dosages to start with…If 30 mcg’s work for me then I might go lower to see if 20 mcg’s work for me. I know that is opposite of how many start out. But I have seen definite results this way…and have not been discouraged by the process.

see you :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks Warren! I understand what you mean.

Hi Schell! Well, I noticed a boost in confidence when I sprayed on Instant Gentleman. But that’s the thing: was it the pheros or was I thinking “yeah, now I’m gonna be James Bond!” :stuck_out_tongue: and that’s why I felt more confident? But I have to admit that when I felt unconfident and sprayed it on I couldn’t explain why I suddenly felt the need to act. To get things done. And I wasn’t nervous anymore. Damn, am I such a sceptic?

I have sprayed on pheromones and gone to sit in my car, windows closed - it is such a small environment that the pheromones are right there in your face…I have gotten a physical response like dizziness.

Emotional/mental responses are harder to gauge, you are correct. Look for some physical responses in yourself.

I am a skeptic as well…I want proof…no wonder I am a scientist, LOL - I want proof for everything.

One other thing I did was try to use a clean mental slate when testing. I tried not to LOOK for responses…sometimes when we look too hard we start second guessing ourselves and then we really end up confused. So I kept my expectations low -
That can be a mind set you might need to learn. As a scientist I cannot have preconceived ideas about some of my testing ( I need a blank slate) or I might miss the small signs that are present and can miss the bigger signs because of my own preconceptions.

Did you say how long you have been using the products?

  1. I would recommend that you keep a record or journal of everything you think might be a reaction. Look back at that in 45 days and see if their are patterns that have emerged. Without trying to analyze the situation too hard. You can analyze after 45 days.
  2. I would look for any physical signs in yourself.
  3. try a much higher dosage and go sit in your car for twenty minutes with a good book - note any physical changes in yourself - sinus, headache, dizziness, eyes rolled up in the back of your head, nose fell off…
  4. Then just sit quietly with yourself and see if you notice some emotional/mental responses.

Write everything down…
Have you ever researched pheromones and how they work in the insect or mammalian world ---- read some of those papers. Then remember we also put off pheromones too.

I would like to hear more from you…and what you think. If I can be any help at all please let me know

Schell, thank you very much for your post!

That is a very good idea. I’ll try that.

The field of pheromones naturally raises expectations and you’re right, high hopes should be reduced. I guess that it is difficult here because there are emotions involved and there is no clean laboratory environment for tests. But the car environment is already a nice possibility to test self-effects.

I received my order around 2 weeks ago. Since then I tried Instant Shine and Instant Openness. And Instant Gentleman in some situations. But I think that my usage was too sporadic. Some days I didn’t put on any pheros at all. You were asking this because the time I had to test out the pheromones was way too short, right?

Ok, I guess I’ll start all over and I will try to keep a few things in mind. And I’ll try more to see if I get self-effects. And damn, now that I read it… 2 weeks is not alot of time. A few people already mentioned patience, right?

Good idea. I’ll combine that with the reflection part of Phya and the working hypothesis of Warren.

You’ll get my report.

Hm… I’ll have to find other papers too, so I’ll get that on the list.

Again, thank you for your help!

My friend,

You are very welcome! I am eager to be of help if I can. There are members here that can tell you much more about these specific products too…

I eagerly await your continued testing and responses.

Best regards,
Schell

Ok, here you have it. Something to report.

I took an article with me and drove to a nearby, lonely place. 23:40, started the experiment. Got out of the car, applied 5 sprays of Instant Shine 2X to my throat and got back in. I tried to concentrate on the article about artificial eyesight but it was really hard not to watch for any effects all the time and also hard to concentrate on the text.

Shortly after I applied the Shine my eyes felt irritated. And it didn’t stop until the end of the experiment. But I thought “well, something similar happened when I had undiluted essential oil in my room”. Maybe you know these things where you have water in a platter, add 1 or 2 drops of some special ethereal / essential oil and have a tea light underneath. Some kind of aroma therapy. When I was younger, I once just used the oil without water. The effect was that my eyes were irritated as hell. I think that the effect of Shine was similar but very very subtle in comparison to the experience with the essential oil.

Ok, next thing. I felt a bit dizzy. And I got a little headache in the area of the hairline of my forehead. There was a brief phase when that headache was quite strong. The skin of my front “stiffened”. Later, the headache was quite subtle and the skin relaxed. It wasn’t exactly pain but more like a pressure.

My solar plexus was definitely working. I felt quite restless and nervous / excited / agitated (english words seem to be very imprecise when it comes to describing things like that). My hands felt like I had adrenaline in them.

0:02, end of the experiment. I got out of the car and took a deep breath of fresh air. The effects described above decreased. I was quite glad to get fresh air. I drove back home with the windows down and the restless feeling minimized and my solar plexus almost immediately calmed down. The headache and eye irritation still remain a little until now. When I was at home I washed off the pheros without delay.

So, what happened? Did I react to some ingredient like it happened with essential oil years ago? Or did I just overload my neurotransmitters?

All in all, the experience was a very unpleasant one. I think I’ll go to bed now. C ya tomorrow!

EDIT: I might add, since the experiment took place at around midnight at a dark place there were no distracting factors outside of the car…

IMO, it was an overload. 5 sprays of IS is a lot.

I have experienced similar self-effects before. No other people?

OH MY GOSH!!!

LOL!!!

To the throat???

I think I just wet my pants laughing so hard…I cannot respond anymore tonight…LOL I will have to catch you tomorrow

LOL LOL LOL LOL

Please wash & dry your pants thoroughly before you go out of your house LOL.

Well, that wasn’t exactly the reaction I anticipated or hoped for… :frowning: I chose the throat because people recommend that application point if you want self-effects.

OK First things first, Why in the name of all that holy would you spray that much on and get into a car. Never use that much Instant Shine and get into a closed environment right away.

In a small closed environment pheromones will give you a head rush, which is what you received. Your inhaling a major amount of chemicals there and your neurotransmitters went into overload. Hence the dizzy headache tight feeling you received. Any chemical can do this to you when exposd to them in a closed environment. It dosnt indicate the pheromones are working.

Yes pheromones can cause self effects but that is not there purpose or function. You need to follow the guidelines that were set and find your dosage and best application points and work from there.

Now where are you applying, I know you said the last time was to the throat but that was for that for that experiment.

Try different locations on your body for application. People are all different and some will diffuse pheromones better from some places then others.

You mention your good at reading people, Stop it LOL Just set it and forget it and go about your day.

At the end of the day look back and jot down anything you noticed. This will help you determine if its the pheromones or just a normal reaction. If you approach it this way any unnatural reaction will still stand out at the end of the day and those are generally your true hits. If you spend your day analyzing everything while it occurs its becomes a jumbled mass of confusion.

The mind can influance the body and how you feel of course. Dont look to self effects. They can in alot of cases be indicators in how a pheromone works especially with the putatives which are much harder to read but the main objective is to see reactions from others not from yourself. I think in your case looking for the self effects may be just another distraction and making it more diffucult then it has to be.

Use the method I descibed above and look back at the end of the day.

Tisha

Hey Tisha,

hm… ok, maybe it was a bit drastic (desperate?) what I did. But well… thought that I should start somewhere. Seems that it wasn’t the best idea.

So far I tried throat, neck, hair, wrist, chest. Couldn’t see any difference. :frowning: And that’s one more aspect I have to take into account…

Good to know.

Ok… so back to start again. What do you suggest? Which product should I use first and should I use the 1-spray-more-every-day method you described somewhere else?

Hirogen,

OK, I am back…So sorry for laughing…when you said you sprayed yourself 5 times I thought oh my goodness - overload! Then when you said “to the throat” it just sounded like you were going for the juggler. You were very funny about sitting in the dark too…

Some of us like seeing the self effects. It immediately showed me the products here work. So I had more logical faith - tested proof- that the products would work on others too.

I am so not surprised you had a headache with that much your olfactory system certainly could have been overtaxed. Sight and sound get processed by a relay center in the cerebral hemishpere before heading to the brain, but the olfactory system, your sense of smell goes straight to the parts of the cortex then it moves to the thalamis and neocortex. LOL…next time use less.

So whether you want to see self effects or outside effects is your choice. But start with your one product first and test that…and at the end of the day keep track of your responses or possible responses.

Keep me posted.

Actually the type of self effects he is talking about like the headaches dizziness and pressure feeling are not a indication that pheromones work. I can sniff Drano and get those same effects in a closed environment.

Keep in mind that the self effects Schell is referring to are a change in emotions or feelings not the head rush feeling.

I would give Instant Shine a rest and go with another one, Try AMMO or if your going to be in the right environment try Turn Up The Heat

Tisha

Hirogen,

(answer to pm) I know it is not a clear cut science yet for the human species. Now with mammals, the insect world, and some ocean going creatures it is more clear cut…but we are still learning more from those species as well…there is so much that we do not know about the human body. But we are testing and learning more all the time. Logic tells me, as we are mammals, but a much higher form…it is natural that pheromones work on us as well. And we do give off pheromones.

it is just finding out which way or what passageway they take to work with us. It is complex, there are so many subsystems involved.

Now computers and systems are much easier to analyze (I too am an analyzer of science and people). But mechanical systems are less complex than the human system. But they are logical…that is why I love math - everything is so logical.

I think because we are such individuals that many people have their own system of what works well for them when using Pheromones. You too will eventually have a system that works for you.

In science it makes sense to try to understand one aspect of something before adding more information to the equation. Testing with one product makes sense. Understand that one product and how it affects you and others makes sense.

Pheromones are designed by nature to affect the other sex and/or the same sex of the species. The point is they are used naturally to make an effect on others. That is why I keep a journal…I try my best to not LOOK for effects from others but to just EXPERIENCE the day…then I will take notes on some parts of it and over a couple of days I will go back and analyze my notes. I look for patterns. It may take someone 5 to 6 days for some folks to notice a pattern since we experience different settings and situations, and because other peoples bodies (sickness, seizures, older age, etc.) may not be functioning as they should.

There are self effects that you will notice, as I have mentioned (pm) before.

Have you read the Post about Stupid Newbie Tricks…I think Renny wrote it. It is Very GOOD. Might I suggest that you read that. I will try to find it. for you…if you searched under Renny’s posts I think you would find it.

Try not to over analyze the situation…just experience them. When we OVER analyze we sometimes can start second guessing ourselves. Then we doubt. Then we question the doubt, then we over analyze more doubt doubt doubt…

Analyzing is great. That is what we do in medicine and science. It is not logical to OVER analyze though…because it does not get us the correct answers.

Follow the process. In Computer systems work there is a process for analyzing - try using a similar process (you will need to modify it a little) for analyzing pheromone testing.

Now let me see if I can find the other thread.

Let’s see if this works ---- https://pheromonetalk.com/t/my-stupid-newbie-tricks/6369/1

I do not think I created a good link …search for Threads that Renny has created and you will find his notes.

Or just click it in my sig  .

Thanks for your gracious compliment Schell. I had a lot of help with it both from folks like SpecialK who asked great questions and from folks like Tisha23 who had great answers.

Yes, I already read the “stupid newbie tricks”. Guess, I’ll read it again…

some self effects are not as easily noticed by yourself,
I personally have few self effects noted directly from pheromones. Although I have found that I need to spray them away from my face, neck and nose, as I will tend to get groggy after a few hours. sometimes a tension headache, but normally it is normal processing overload.
at the suggestions of other users on the forum I tried some cops on my nose/upper lip, to boost testosterone levels, and make manual strength work and working out easier. it did seem to increase my stamina, and also made my workout easier, but I was more sore later, likely because I pushed my mussels to far. While I did not sprout wood, I did feel hornier.

True the acid burning smell of a vehicle running on ethanol will give me a headache, but then I like the smell of methanol or Race Blue racing fuel running in a car.

self effects are more of a trending of your emotions, was your outlook more postitive, were you more pessimistic than normal, were you looking at every woman with a skirt and wondering what color?
did you check to see if each guy was dressed to the right or the left.
self effects are sometimes less noticable to you but other people
I did not think I was effected by instant shine, but I put a spray on a few weeks ago, and my mother ask why I was giddy. I felt normal, just things tended to make me laugh more than normal I guess.

wow, doctor lori… :open_mouth:

Woof, you are such a crack

up.
