How do I shed my "invisible cloak"?

Hello everyone! I am a 31 year old female living in Canada. I have never been married, never had children and have been out of a 5 year relationship since the spring. I was described by my ex-boyfriend that I am an awesome catch. I am easy-going and a good natured person. I workout 5-6 times a week and am currently pursuing a job in the modelling field. I work at a fitness facility and get along great with everyone. However, there is this problem I have. I am completely invisible to the opposite sex. :frowning:

I must admit, I do not go out carousing around at the bars, join online dating sites or make advances to the opposite sex. I am open and friendly to everyone. I find the only men who approach me are at least 15 years older than myself and personally I prefer to be involved with someone much closer to my age category.

Lately, I have been feeling a little depressed and confused. My ex who has “moved on” several times this summer is giving me mixed signals. I haven’t even held hands with another man since he broke up with me in May, and why is that? Oh I don’t know… maybe because I’m off the radar? I asked a male coworker (friend) of mine to honestly tell me what is wrong with me and why nobody ever approaches me. (The other girls at work meet guys there all the time.) He told me that men are intimidated by my appearance and the prettier I am the less likely they will talk to me. Ha Ha! I don’t see it, and he’s an absolute sweetheart for complimenting me when I needed it most.

Anyway, my situation is a lonely one. I am my ex’s dirty little secret, as we are still friends with benefits. He indicated to me on more than one occasion he doesn’t want me back as a girlfriend, although I tried countless amounts of times to win him back over the summer. Sometimes I believe his heart is softening up and he realizes how special our relationship had been, but other times he gets in this arrogant mood and wants to dip his wick elsewhere (sorry)

I’m not sure how I found this website. I don’t even know why I searched for pheromones. I remember skimming though an advertisement in a magazine a while back and it just kind of appeared in my mind last night. I must say I’ve done a fair amount of reading and all I can say is

Many of you are very knowledgeable about the different products to use and I realize certain products have different effects. I am brand spanking new to this concept, but I do believe this is the boost I need to get noticed. I look forward to getting to know all of you and eventually obtaining my first pheromone potion. Of course, you will be the first ones to know, because that will be my dirty little secret

Welcome to the forum, Elixxxer! I’m sorry to hear about your problems, and can’t imagine why your ex would move on if he thinks you’re such a catch. As a guy, I can’t really recommend female products to you, as I haven’t used any, but for general pheromones, you might try Instant Shine, which creates a sort of social magnetism towards the wearer and draws people towards you. I’m sure the women will be here soon to help you out. While you’re waiting, tell us a little more about yourself to get the $15 gift certificate. What do you think of yourself? Where do you plan to use the pheros? Just around, specifically at clubs, at work? Do you want to use the pheros to try to win your ex back or do you want to attract new men? Good luck with this! I hope everything works out for you, and I look forward to learning how every goes for you.

Welcome to the forum. There are certainly some products here with potential to address the “invisibility” problem. Do a search on isex and read up a bit about it. The ladies in the wormen’s forum will give lots of advice, if you ask over there.

Welcome to the forum Elixer. I myself also work out often and it helps with my stress and with any depression.

instant shine can bring up your mood in that situation and openness can help with getting people chatty. Im sure if you interact with people you will feel in a better mood. but what do you want to get out of pheremones? Im sure you will get a hand of everything. Be sure to read the stickies and peoples journals to get a general understanding of how pheromones work.

Wow thank you for your immediate responses! To elaborate more about what I hope to get out of pheromones, I am looking at improving romance in my life. Since I work at a fitness facility my job is very social. I feel that I get along great with the regular members and interact with them on a personal level. I am pleasant even when I’m not quite feeling that way myself. I don’t think I need to bump up my charisma, what I feel I’m lacking is appearing more approachable to the opposite sex.

Vespero, my ex sends me mixed messages… tells me one thing and does another. Ever since the beginning of May I’ve been hanging on by a string, oblivious and naive to his numerous sexcapades, pining for his return and being a good girl. Very recently, reality slapped me in the face, as some unnecessary drama unfolded between one of his hookups and myself. My ex gets bored very easily. It doesn’t matter if you are Angelina Jolie or Jenna Jameson, because to him “the grass is greener on the other side”. With that being said, an appropriate analogy is using pheromones would be “my fertilizer”. But to be honest I’m not even sure if I want him back.

Gone With The Wind, I have been reading up on Instant Sexiness and think that is going to be one of my first products. I find the more I read about pheromones, it seems to get more complicated with the combinations and dosages. I will be sure to post over in the women’s forum!

lukester19, I guess a better term I should have used instead of depression would be loneliness. It has been taking a toll on me lately as all I seem to encounter are happy couples parading about. My ex and I still communicate and interact (somewhat like a couple) on a regular basis but I all I want is something mutual. At times I feel like such a fool for still keeping in contact with him and sometimes I wonder if I’d ever have a healthy loving relationship again. Don’t get me wrong, I certainly do not expect Mr. Right to materialize out of a bottle of pheromones, but I feel that it will help with my self-image and allowing men to not be “intimidated” by me.

Sorry if I have been rambling, I’ve been a bit of an insomniac lately.

The issue is that we are all different. Other peoples’ experiences will give you some ideas, but it always comes down to testing what works for you.

Some other products you might try are ih and io. They will help people to open up to you and engage in conversations.

Welcome to the club! I’ve only been around a couple of weeks myself so can’t really say what may work and what may not. What I can say is, read the posts, listen to the people who know what they are talking about and you’ll do fine.

As for being off the radar, if I were in a club and a super hot model walked in, I would previously have ignored her on the assumption that she is bound to be attached! Don’t take it as an insult if guys ignore you, we don’t take rejection well and tend to compensate by not making the effort in the first place. How about some Instant Sexiness and hit on the guy that takes your eye in the club/bar/wherever?

One final point in my limited experience here, these products do exactly what they say they do, with ease but, as is oft quoted on here, it’s 90% you and 10% pheromones.

Gone With The Wind, I must say that Instant Honesty has me intrigued! This might be a good thing (or a bad thing) to wear around my ex. Instant Openness is something I would wear to work, although already I’m having lengthy chats with some of our friendly members.

Hello Diamond, I hope that if I wear the Instant Sexiness it will boost my confidence enough to “make the first move” Once I take that first step and the initial attraction is there, it is very easy for me to flirt. I am going out to the club for Halloween, so perhaps that should be the night I spritz some of this on and see what happens!

Hello Welcome to Pherotalk

Your friend is probably correct and you intimidate men. Its not easy for most men to approach a pretty women, you need to give them some signals like eye contact, repeated quick glances, smiling when you do make eye contact and even flirting. This makes it easier for them because they feel they at least have a shot.

Instant sexiness is a great product but A is going to intimidate them more. B which I suggest is out of stock at the moment but will be back.

I suggest you start with products like Ishine and IH .

Ishine is upbeat warm charismatic.

IH is a deep communication mix that opens people up and makes them feel connected to you.

If you have any questions just ask.

Your GC is on its way

Hello Tisha23! Instant Sexiness B, eh? Thanks for the input! I will wait for it to come back on the shelves, hopefully soon :stuck_out_tongue: Instant Honesty and Instant Shine both sound good, I’ll look further into the products and decide which one to try out first. Perhaps I’ll splurge and get both!

P.S. Thank you for the gift certificate, I can’t wait to use it!
