I have used an old eyeglasses case (the cheap ones they give you with new glasses) but when traveling I find a sock works better, it keeps the glass bottle from clinking.
I have graduated to an Ammo belt
(a coworker was making a superhero costume for his kid and needed a way to hook up some batteries, so we went to Walmart and checked out the sporting goods department) that got the wheels turning and I found a cheap elastic shotgun shell belt worked great for holding Full sized bottles, and a rifle stock ammo holder worked good for holding togo bottles
So now the animals can smell me coming when I am in the woods.
I am absolutely LOVING all these great ideas (I especially like Tisha’s walk-in closet one, but I need a walk-in closet first, and then enough bottles to take up an entire wall!!! )
I have a foldable cosmetic case for all my MX series To Go! bottles. For my high dosage pheromones I have a felt lined case with a glass top to keep them organized and so I can whip up a mix fairly easily. I have plastic snap top tackle-type boxes for my test mixes. For the 30 mL bottles I have a shelf with organizer boxes that I have them lined up in. I keep a small flip top square cardboard box for my empty To Go! bottles. For all the pheromones I’m not currently using, but may want to go back to in the future, I have a tin box with a lid to keep them secure.

At home on the bench, like our big buddy Steve, I use cigar boxes for the 5ml to-gos and cologne decants But you have to really hunt around to find ones deep enough so that your bottles stand straight up. I am using boxes from CAO brand cigars. (I’ll get some pictures posted later in the week) The 30ml blue bottles fit nicely in a card index box for 4"x6" index cards.
When I leave the house it is for 12-24 hours at a time. So I’m packin’ work and social pheros, along with quick draw A314 for when I get the flashin’ lights in my mirrors. Also a few of the disposable alcohol wipes for when I need to change my mix on the fly. I carry in cigarette cases and little tin boxes from European cafe cigars. The Cafe Creme brand is the best so far. They are all lined with layer of absorbant pad to contain leaks. 1/4 dram vials, like perfume samples, fit in between the 5ml bottles and nothing rattles around. I carry A314 in one of the vials. My colognes are decanted into 5ml aluminum atomizers. I only carry 1 or 2. Often as not, I don’t wear a cologne. Alot of times I’ll wipe in a mushroom of one variety or another, then apply pheros over that. Since I haul mushrooms every day, this is a stealth camo cover scent. I usually have a thousand pounds of mushrooms right next to me. Who could tell? Besides, I think they smell good. I’m suprised that perfumers don’t use the palette of mushroom scents. Tom Ford is the only perfumer I know of useing any mushroom scent and that is only truffles in the top note. Not very challengeing. Like shootin’ fish in a barrel.
Lessee…where were we? Oh, packin’. I carry all this in my map case, which is really a camera bag. I would recommend camera bags to everyone here. They come in all shapes and sizes. Reasonably inexpensive. They are padded to absorb impacts and leaks. And camera bags are relatively discreet. Every Jane Doe out there thinks they know what’s in the bag. The ultimate in discretion would be to actually carry a camera in it.
I have not done it yet, buuuut… All the pheros should be loaded into aluminum 5ml atomizers so when we get searched at the airport or wherever, this all looks like perfume instead of some bizarre experimental chemical. Spritz a real perfume inside the cap. One sniff and they’ll know what it is, or so they think.
LOL, If you’re looking for a mushroom fragrance, I actually think that Androtics has a mushroom scent, actually its more like a mushroomy chocolate odor… Its in some of their products, but I can’t think of which ones off hand…
Be patient with me for a day or two. There are a half a dozen that I have used and a few more I would like to try. I’m trying to get pictures of all these so that this makes a little more sense to folks. It might end up a seperate thread. If it does, i’ll post over here and let y’all know.
