When I sent in my order, I chose standard 3-5 day shipping. However:
Mar 23, 2011 5:45 PM Picked up LOS ANGELES, CA
Mar 24, 2011 10:32 AM Delivered Staunton, VA
As you can see, not only is that not 3-5 days, it is UNDER 24 hours! This kind of thing is unacceptable, and NOT what I paid for!!!

hahaha, just kidding, this was amazing, and AD rules! Everything is excellent, the products, customer service, PR, forums, just everything!
One question though…what are these candies?
Your title thew me off a bit. Lol!
I was like should I open it now or wait a little bit to hear the bad new. ![]()
These candies is our way of adding some sweetness to our clients. Enjoy and we are glad we made another client pleased with our hard work and unbeatable service. ![]()
We used our stargate. Glad it worked!
I’m guessing you guys finally found a way to unlock the 9th chevron.
I started reading this and thought “Is he making the same complaint as me?”
Until I saw the part about you getting it under 24 hours.
Though for me, I ordered yesterday, and chose overnight. I JUST NOW received an email saying it shipped. I am being told my package will be here on Monday. So much for having it for this weekend when I could’ve really used it.
Yeah, honestly this company is fantastic. I live in Europe and things are shipped extremely quickly, and recieving a package from AD is like Christmas all over again, every time! ![]()
Set your avatar to one of David Bowie, and it’ll be there in 2 hours, guranteed.
69% of the time, it’ll work every time
Same thing happened to my last order! Almost pooped me pants!
This GOOD KIND OF SHOCK is pretty standard! ![]()
And since I’m here on the subject matter … THANKS FOR THE MAKE ME SMILE FREEBIES, AD! ![]()
That’s a complaint for Fedex (actually all carriers) policies, not us.
Overnight Packages do not deliver on Saturday, that is how it works unless you want to pay Fedex the high premium for Saturday delivery. (call us if you do).
Also btw: Most companies wouldn’t have even shipped it until Monday.
Ah, thanks for clearing that up, John ![]()
I was frustrated at first, but I’m fine now.
When I ordered on Thursday and chose overnight, I figured I’d receive it on Friday. No big deal though, as it’s not like I’m waiting for a week.
Remember our staff doesn’t ship 24/7.
Email me (jslavalle@androtics.com) with your order info if you’d like. If you placed your order after we already shipped for the day then it wouldn’t have shipped until the next day.
I think my order took something like 48 hours from click to the knock on the door.
And I live across the north atlantic ocean! Can’t fault the delivery process (:
No worries, John (:
As I said, it’s not like I have to wait 2-3 weeks like some other companies make me do.
I received the initial PROCESSING order (hadn’t shipped) at 4:56 PM my time (eastern), so I probably missed the last shipment of that day.
Worked out well though as this weekend proved to be quite uneventful anyway!
Glad you’re happy ![]()
If you ever need anything though really don’t hesitate to email me.
A big part of that has to do with what time of day you place your order in relation to where you’re ordering the shipping from.
Most delivery companies won’t pick up packages after 3 pm relative to their time zone. So basically consider anything you order after around 2-3 pm as having been ordered the following day. And yeah, like John says, factor in weekends and holidays as being off time.
In-deeeeed! in a Teal’c Voice
I searched and this thread answered my question.
I ordered on Thursday asked for overnight, shipped Friday (Today), won’t be here until Monday.
When is the cut-off time for orders that won’t be processed/shipped until the next day?
Yay for the search feature! This thread answered my inquiry (Ordered Thursday with overnight, shipped Friday, won’t get till Monday…)
But, I was wondering if anyone knows the cutoff time for orders to be processed and shipped on the same day?
Its dependent on a lot of things and varies daily but generally its in the afternoon PST.
