i smelled mones

regular working day at the plant nursery. kind of.
a guy comes in and starts asking me questions about a plant, and im having issues answering… because all i get a whiff of is 'nol !!! i mean, once you OD on 'nol, you dont mistake its effects for nothing! all i could think of was “wow, i recognise that product!! wow, dude your wearing ALOT… wow man, i feel groovy… lets talk plants!” -no lie. im mad i didnt call him on it,haha, that would have been funny… could you turn down the 'mones sir ? … i cant hear you!

All I can say is that I’m glad you can smell alpha-nol. Many people (or companies) like to claim it has no smell, but in reality… it smells GREAT!

Very light and… I don’t know how to put it? Very “mmm”, maybe?

Definitely a very delightful, very human musk. (to others reading this: don’t get hung up on the word “musk” because of some bad “musk cologne” you’ve smelled… there’s many musks, many of which are absolutely fantastic… musks are what we, and animals, use to attract each other after all)

oh i adore alpha-nol, but in truth it does not make me want to work…
it makes me want to be social! and oh yes, i can smell it, it was in fact nice, and im thinking this guy was enjoying it too… or used to it.

Alpha nol smells ultraviolet purple plasma. That’s all I can say… lol I like it, but that’s how it smells to me.

Yesss! I know this feeling! I sometimes have to omit the anol in some of my mixes when I have to go out and get things done, or else I’ll be talking shop with – every – single – person – I run into that day.

You never know how many people this earth holds until you run errands on an Anol overdose. :open_mouth::stuck_out_tongue:

Aww! I wish you called him on it! I’m sure his face would look like this:
!:open_mouth:! (And his inner dialogue would probably read like, “There is an insurgent in our midsts…”)

True. If “delight” had a smell, without a doubt, it would be Anol.

My cat definitely attracts me with her kitty musk. That stuff projects out from her temples and has me intoxicated. She’ll mew and I’ll stand on my head feeding her sardines.

Sheesh. And pheromones don’t work or anything… :stuck_out_tongue:

So catlord, do you think those plasma packs that the ghostbusters carried just sprayed out super concentrated Anol? If its true, then the blast would make the ghosts so mellow that they wouldn’t mind jumping into the ghost trap?

And since ghosts are made of ectoplasma, aren’t they just concentrated pheromone, too?

That says something about “haunted” places, doesn’t it? :stuck_out_tongue::smiley:

lol You’re a trip, Jasmin.

To clarify a bit, when I remember the smell of A-nol, I see in my mind something like a cloud of plasma gas that is glowing ultraviolet purple. But I bet even ghosts would chill with you if you hit them with enough alpah-nol.

Ectoplasma! lol

Ghostbuster references, huh?

Speak of the devil… I was thinking about Bill Murray recently. He has some seriously funny pheromones (okay, okay, I can’t see his pheromones, but I can definitely see his facial expressions!)

He has this sort of “humorous charisma”, this special, likeable something I don’t see in most other comedic actors.

Honestly, I can barely look at that guy without cracking up! I understand why he failed “miserably” as a “serious” actor (i.e, “Razor’s Edge” circa '84)

no lie. my cat did this thing where he rubbed his face on all the furniture, he had that kitty-musk thing going on too. bottle that, lol. i dont want to be fed sardines, though…

about bill murray:

there is a certain breed of actor/comedian that is less a skilled artist, and more a personality. their craft is who they are, cannot be helped, and is compensated for greatly. bill murray was definately one of them, he just is who he is, most likely 24/7. adam sandler is that way too, he seems like he is himself working or not. chris farley, jacky chan even- he cannot help using his humor, working or not. i’ll bet we can come up with quite the list.

That’s pretty wild, Lor. I’ve smelled the scent of AE/m and SOE out in clubs before, but can’t say that I’ve actually detected the scent of a specific phero before.

im not sure if i detected the “scent” of 'nol specifically, or felt what i did and just knew what i was smelling was it. maybe i put it together, because the smell is recognisable when you first put it on, and then it fades, but THIS GUY took a bath in it. :open_mouth:

 Heck, I would love to run into someone who is wearing mones. That would be fun.

knowing what i know NOW, i really believed a few guys i dated were wearing 'mones. besides remembering the thought “what is that smell? …yummy” (obviously not 'none heavy lol) i do remember not feeling consistant around them. sometimes it was going-on, sometimes i didnt know what i saw in the first place, which is very weird because im all about first impressions. im learning here, though, not to rely so heavily on them.

I can smell the natural pheromones on my gay friend at times. I am not sure what it is exactly(naturally occurring pheromones). It is a very alluring light musk scent. And this is when he has not applied anything at all. There have been other boyfriends in the past on which I could detect their natural mones. I wonder which pheromone this could be? I always felt aroused when I could smell it.

First impressions are not exactly the most reliable indicator. There have to have been times when a guy blew you off after a bad first impression and you knew he was making a mistake by doing it?

Last year I found myself in the enviable position of having a date with a very beautiful hispanic woman who was intelligent, well educated, and for a few other reasons, very attractive to me. But, by the time I arrived for the date, I had been through the day from hell. My shirt (It was Navy blue) had gotten yellow paint on it; my left shoe had been torn almost off my foot when I tripped over something; I had painful scrapes on one leg from the same trip that had bled through the pant leg; and I was suffering from low blood sugar with no money in my pocket because I’d had to unexpectedly spent it on school supplies earlier in the day. And since the date was for after my college classes, which were a 90 minute drive from my house, I could not go home and freshen up and grab my spare cash.

Needless to say, the date bombed. Had she given me a chance, I’m sure she would have enjoyed spending time with me. But she took one look at me and walked away. Her loss, in the end. Still… first impressions are often false.

You run into people wearing mones every day. Just, they’re usually natural.

I ran into a woman once who’s natural mones were so amazing that I could not get myself to act normal around her to save my life. She turned me on SO MUCH it was insane, and she wasn’t all that good looking! I literally felt like someone had put me in neutral and revved my engine to about 6 grand for the next several hours. Self control was not even an issue, because I was so high on her. The poor woman, if she had to put up with affecting every man like that, I really feel bad for her. Fortunately for me, she was interested in participating, but holy cow, talk about your hot mone signature! Too bad she was the polar opposite of most everything I want in a woman otherwise. lol

I’ve never seen synthetics come even close, although some copulins formulas do have a powerful effect on me.

well, her first impression could have been…boy, this guy didnt give up even when things werent lookin good. her first impression was actually right on, because had she given you another chance, it would have been with the thought im giving him another chance… and that implies that you screwed up bigtime- not that you are a hard worker, go for what you want even if it means spending food money on books, ect ect. and no, i dont think any guy ever got the wrong first impression of me. im an ass, lol.

Why do you constantly put yourself down, Lor?

In your case, it sounds genuine, but I can tell you that as far as many guys are concerned, that comes off as very false - as if you are waiting for them to tell you the opposite.

You seem to be a paradox. On one hand a woman who seems to know her own mind totally, is very humourous and gets on very well with men, but then you do this thing where you stomp on yourself from a great height, and men do NOT find that attractive.

You get out there and you hold your head high, and you be proud of who and what you are. Especially when you are as tiny as you are, your personality helps to make up for the lack of inches, but seriously, stop the putting yourself down nonsense - it doesn’t suit a genuinely funny woman, who appears to have a lot to offer.

I was a battered wife for every day of almost 8 years, a fact that was kept from everybody in my life for the entire time, and let me tell you, I was beaten, put down, humiliated and ridiculed so much that sometimes, it’s a wonder I still function. But I do.

There are millions of women in my position, and I’m nothing special, but the one thing I DO know how to do, is stand up tall and proud, and NEVER put myself down.

Believe me, if you do it too often, you just watch other people accept what you’re saying. That’s human nature, sad to say.

Get out there, and be proud of everything you are. You have no need to belittle yourself. Noone on this planet should ever be made to feel that way about themselves.

Repeat at least ten times a day the mantra, “I AM strong, I AM invincible - I AM WOMAN!”

Trust me, it works - big-time.

Ail

ail,
anyone who thinks i put myself down, misunderstands my personality.
i can so appreciate everything you have said. i truely hope other women are reading your words as well, for they will ring true for a great many people. i, HAHAHA, ON THE OTHER HAND, am not putting myself down when i say the things that i do. im am very specific with the words that i choose, when i say i am an ass, i mean that with every cell of my being- i will do/say/behave as if maturity has no bearing on my situations, for in my reality, it does not. i ride grocery carts thru the isles… i close my eyes and sing whatever song my finger is pointing to in karaoke..AND I CANT SING! i will tell you and every one else exactly what i think if it moves me to do so, at the risk of getting kicked off. that doesnt mean what i say is law… it just means i believe what i say, period. i have never been a battered woman. i have never-not held my head high and i am very proud of who i am. but i am also aware of what i am…LOL… and make no apologies (usually) for it. okay, sometimes i apologise- for no other reason than maybe i should keep some of what i believe to myself.
also, i should probably note, that i am not looking to be accepted by any man (or woman, woohoo!) as far as what is attractive goes. i have alot going on, i just dont find the humor in telling everyone how hot/cool/happinin i think i am. its all relative.
so i be who i be.
its not a popularity contest,i dont win a prize.

You don’t know this, but… I do not own a cell phone. Had I had one, I’d have called her to explain that these things had happened, and told her we needed to re-schedule for the next day. But I don’t have one, and I had made plans to be there that night at 8 pm, and I was there - because unless I am incapable of doing so, I do what I say I will do. So I suppose it was actually a veiled display of my sense of personal integrity that killed that date.

Furthermore, it really isn’t a matter of if she gave me another chance, it’s a matter of not judging people until you know them. It’s something we all do, to glance at someone and make decisions about what we believe about them, but that’s usually not very accurate. For instance, today I wore a shirt with paint stains on it from when I pained a boat I built. What does that say about me? Does it say I’m a scrounge, a slacker, that I have no skill at fashion, that I don’t care about my looks? Maybe it means I could not get another shirt ready in time to go out. Maybe it means the paint stains remind me of that boat and those are fond memories. Maybe it means I’m telling judgemental people to screw off in my own little way. Or maybe it means I’d rather be naked, and clothes are a hassle I deal with because I’d get arrested otherwise.

The fact of the matter is, you can never know why someone does what they do just by looking at them. The best you can do is guess based on your own understanding of your own reality. By looking at me and walking away, she could have thought, “Wow, what a bullsh&t artist, I can’t believe I agreed to a date with this loser.” Or, she could have framed it differently, and thought, “Wow, I know he didn’t intend to come to a date with blood stains on his leg and torn jeans and a shredded shoe falling off his foot… what the hell happened to him? This ought to make for an interesting conversation.” Knowing what I do about you, I think you’d have been curious enough to go the second route. But there’s a million and one alternate points of view she could have taken, and she didn’t. She just assumed, and closed her mind.

By the way, it hits me that I couldn’t have gone on that date more than 4-6 months ago.

what a colorful picture we paint we take into consideration our demeanor, style (i come off as punky ) our WORDS…and whether we actually use them or not, and pheromones are like a thread that runs through all of them. from what i understand, they help mold the opinion and way we are percieved assuming we are within range, and i am in love with the fact i can go out in sweats and dress them up with 'mones! (am i the only one that does that?) im beginning to notice mones on people more, too. when something works, i share it. i notice alot of people keep this a big secret, lol.
