Instant Honesty hasn't worked so far........

Well, I tried getting my boyfriend to tell me the truth by using Instant Honesty, Instant Openess and Instant Sexiness. When that did not work I used only the Instant Honesty. When that did not work I tried Instant Sexiness and Instant Honesty. While the Instant Sexiness seemed to turn him on, the pheromones did not do much of anything else. I have come to the conclusion that even though I have found proof that he is lying to me, he will never come clean. I think I am just going to give up and move out. :frowning:

You know what they say about hypnotism, you can’t be forced to do something against your wishes.

Like hypnotism, Instant Honesty may bring out some “hidden truths” in normal conversation, but if someone is actively hiding something it has a slim chance of “forcing” the truth out. Smartmones was working on some “military grade truth serum” that might do the deed, but I haven’t heard much about it in a while.

Products names like Instant Honesty, CTTM and Instant Openness are merely marketing to help distinguish product variations. Both beta and alpha androstenol are social pheromones that encourage positive social interaction, friendliness and communication. Loose 'n friendly lips may be more predisposed to spill the beans than tight lips–nevertheless human freewill is still fully operational. Instant Honesty is no more effective at forcing someone to reveal hidden secrets than a new shirt or quote from the Bible. People say and do what they want and that’s that. If they want to reveal something, the nols make it a little easier but they have to be willing to begin with. The nols merely make things a little more friendly and talkative.

After a number of long relationships, I have found it best to “let sleeping dogs lie.” In other words if most things are going okay, let your other half enjoy their privacy. Everyone is entitled to some secrets. Nothing worse than an untrusting spouse or lover digging into your business and rockin’ the boat. I’ve been there–could see my possible future with her–and dumped that aspiring detective like yesterday’s news. Young women tend to do this more often than older and more experienced women.

Well, it’s a bit tough to get a hold on, but Sodium Pentothal , about 5 cc’s worth injected directly into an artery will cure all the lies. ever. Just ask Monica Lewinsky. lol.

That was a joke. Please don’t try to use truth serum on your own. Bad juju.

Trust yourself. You seem pretty sure of the truth–considering that you are sure he is lying. So who cares if he actually says the words?

Agreed w/ Kitten. If you have proof, and he seems vehemently against being a man and fessing up to his errors, then it’s time to pack up and head out.

Relationships are about trust and respect. You have proof that he is lieing and even if he told you the truth now he will most likely lie again down the road. Someone who holds it back that long and needs you to pry the truth out of them always will do it again.

If it were me I would kick him to the curb. After you go through all the emotions and motions of getting over a break up use your pheromones and get out there and attrack a man who has no problem with telling the truth.

Always know your worth girl, dont let him walk all over you because if you let him do it once he will walk on you again. I know it hurts but you are worth so much more than that kind of treatment.

Sorry this has happened to you blondie1, I hope you stick around to learn about your pheromones and chat with us. Then when you’re ready, find a better man to invest your time and pheromones on.

I do want to add on that you shouldn’t let this affect the next man in your life. While your current guys pants are on fire, the next man in your life doesn’t deserve to be distrusted from the get go. I know it will be more difficult to trust, but you can do it.

AMEN!!! Let him go…you’ll be much better off without him…

I think y’all are right. In our previous relationship he lied for 3 years about some pretty serious drug abuse with opiates. I knew he was lying but he stuck to his story and lyed all the way out the door. He finally did come clean before we got back together a few years later and he did get help when we was apart. However, I will never know if I should believe him or not. Now, it is not just the drugs that I suspect, it is other issues as well. I will be finishing school soon and when I find work I will be leaving. I am cute, smart and I will have a good job soon. I think that makes me a good catch and I really don’t have to deal with this. The pheromones will drive them wild when I go looking for a new man!

It sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders, and a lot working for you! No need to spend your time and energy on a proven liar. Once a liar, always a liar… Cute, smart, AND a good steady job? Marry me?
