Z, that’s great news! Anything to get people off of meds, I say (though I’m not so dumb that I think meds are never necessary). I wonder if clinical depression could have anything to do with a phero deficiency . . . ? Any studies on that?

Sounds like the ISx8 is worth its weight in gold . . . and it probably costs the same per oz, too. HAHA!

Just keep the medication at hand, just in case your body starts getting “used” to the IS and the self effects begin to wear off. Reps for the report (eh . . . I was going to, but it seems I have to spread it). Wishing you all the best.

Hey, much appreciated bud. ya - but the depression is no new news. Its all good, having it my whole life gave me lots and lots of tiem to figure out the best way to deal with it.

One thing i am afraid of, well…i guess not anymore but it crossed my mind..If was not to refill my perscription, I can easily see myself becoming dependent on something like ISE. The only phero i have noticed that i have built up a semi-immunity too would have to be A314…which im coolin it on for a week or so to see if the affects change accordingly

Glad to hear ISE worked that great for you! Although I’m going through depressions from time to time too, I guess it’s not as bad as yours seems to be.

Its meant for others, and whatnot…but I look at the self effects and make sure they work for me more than i am concerned about how its affecting others! haha, Self-Medication FTW!

AH OK. So is it more of a nice buzz, just took a shot of patron style ‘feel good’? Or more of a hot day vs sierra mist commercial?

ever since my accident, ive been having mood swings. One min Im fine, sweet talking a female friend over the phone, the next min im being a smart ass.

I have spaceland, but that just makes things worse and my tongue slip even more. I was thinking about EST, bit expensive, but the store is all out anyways.

Do you think IS would do the trick from your experience?

Heres what i would try.. since i havent tested it enough to come to any conclusions…would specially not even want to suggest using it to control the swings. I know i do have those mood swings too and so far it does seem to be fairly consistant, as far as me not going up and down…only 3 days of testing so far though, so ima keep it going and let you know.

Feel free to try it – all you need is IS 1x and squirt the bad boy 8 times (or 2x, 4 sprays).

its mostly…jeez how do i describe it…Like smiley…Any small thing that turns in my favor (very little things, like being complemented or haveing my point of sale system not give me errors! hah) I get an evemn more good feeling of joy than without it…And it stays consistant with haveing that last a while. I do notice as well, the 8x seems to stick around ALOT longer…I dont even feel or realize the come down like i would with a shot or two of IS reg or 2x.

Alright. The past week I have been getting the same effects (described in the replies above) except for today…

Today I decided to venture further into the Shine line and did one shot of 8x to the throat and one shot of 8x to the back of the neck. This is the first time i have done this, so i made careful note of the effects…

I applied these around 11am. Its now 5:18pm and I have noticed a huge comedown…Bigtime. I tweaked on one of my employees for something…well, nothing to serious but i could have been a little more leanent as he is new. I think the two shots was a little excessive for me..at the end anyways..

During the day it was great though! Its been super slow business today so i had to find things to do..which was not difficult. I found myself smiling throughout the entire day. But the comedown hit me really quickly.

Its crazy how instantly noticable it was when it wore off…I began getting more irritable..even with a customer of mine…i just wasint myself and things were a bit awkward…I was even getting annoyed by her stupid questions…which never happens…I am always eager to help people out and never have the mindset that “there are stupid questions”…any other day i know for a fact i would not have considered that a stupid question…but it was…lol - wish i could remember what it was…something cell phone related…

That concludes my first test with 2 shots. I hate to confirm my suspicions…but i HAVE to try this again tomorrow in order to figure out if this was truly the shine. More to come…

I tried regular TAA at 80mcg with other stuff. Not the best place to be. You can be shiny as a chrome bumper at low dosages, any higher you become the blaring black hole sun. Funny how extremes operate that way. I’m exaggerating of course, but like any chem, there comes a point where things go backwards.

Hey Andrew, you’re a grown man, so I’m sure you don’t need any cautions, but I hope you’ll take it easy on the testing if you see yourself tweaking like that. I know that sometimes a simple swing can have devastating results in the wrong situation.

Where to you think is that turning point dosagewise? I’m quite sure 1 spray of Andrews ISE has more TAA in it than 80 mcg (normal IS is 15 mcg pheromones per spray - and I’m sure it’s at least 10 mcg TAA).

Related to bubblebob’s post above, Andrew, maybe one spray of ISE and then one spray of IS 2x might more appropriate than two sprays of ISE? It’s a big jump going from 8x to 16x. We all know that some molecules act quite differently in higher dosages as sugar was saying. If there’s a minimum of 10mcgs of TAA per spray of IS, then ISE has a minimum of 80mcg. Two sprays of ISE is 160mcgs. 80mcgs alone could potentially cross an unknown threshold in TAA effects, let alone 160mcgs.

I appreciate you showing concern. That is something I will be watching more carefully. Its almost 9am now, and i had already applied the 8x 2 shots.. This should be the last day i need to do this…I have to find out if it was truly the ISE that was making me come down like that..I will be careful. I promise

That I don’t have the answer to. But 4 sprays of IS is still in the safe zone. I jumped from 4 IS to 8 TAA.

The safe zone seems to very different in one particular individual. She experienced a negative comedown with 2 sprays of IS 2x. I’ll elaborate.

Here’s a copy of the PMs I sent Andrew. I wasn’t sure if he wanted to discuss something like this privately or publicly so I asked him first. He perfers making this public so here it is:

Hey Andrew, I didn’t want to post this on the thread or your journal because I didn’t know if you wanted such a discussion available for public viewing.

I was wondering if we could discuss your experiences with ISE with regards to your depression. My dad’s gf is bi-polar (apparently, news to me) and she tried one and a half sprays of IS 2x. She said she felt much lighter on her feet and happy, so the IS did its job, but on her way home, she reported being very depressed. She almost cried once, then the second wave came and she cracked.

However, when she came home, even though her younger brother was sitting playing games (she dislikes it because she wants him to be more productive, he’s like 35 or something), she wasn’t upset about it, and was much more chill about the fact. In fact, she said she treated him much nicer than she ordinarily would in that situation.

I hypothesized that perhaps because of her ‘disorder’ the depression occured. I had three theories.

The first was that usage of the IS depleted her serotonin levels thus leading to depressive episodes. The second was that the IS raised her relative baseline so that when the pheromones dispersed, leaving her with no more (or significantly less) pheromones her serotonin level returned to normal but because of the higher relative baseline, she felt depressed.

The third was that because there was potential evidence for her interacting ‘nicely’ with her brother, the pheromone must not have dispersed completely. Thus, perhaps it wasn’t a drop in pheromones or serotonin, but rather that the experience of IS triggered some sort of associations which snowballed into triggering a much more sensitive memory. (She has struggled through many hardships during her life.) I thought this because I asked her what she was thinking about during her depressive episode and she replied that it was too ‘heavy’ for her to discuss at this point in time. My guess would be that it has to do with ‘finding family’.

Now that I’m thinking about it, it’s possible that her interaction with her brother was actually a result of her experiencing the depressive episode. After crying, even seeing a familiar face can brighten up your day.

In any case, I hope you can share some thoughts on this matter. I sprayed her around 12, the depressive episode was around 5-6 and the interaction with her brother around 6-8.

I have noticed some negative effects as well with ISE. I have been spraying around 11am. And i get a massive comedown around 4-6. During this time if i dont findmyself rejuvenating the spray with regular or 2x i get very irritable. I think the latter of your theories is what i would agree with most. It seems the most logical. We just gotta remember, Pheros do fuck with our chemical levels (seratonin and dopamine), although temperary - in cases where bi-polorism is a factor, i would definatly take it slow..Feel free to make this into a post or reply on ISE post. I dont mind speaking of this publicly, and would prefer it actually, specially since it would help others and research.

Any other ideas? She’s tried two sprays of Instant Openness. She felt that it was more effective. She felt calm and ‘normal’ not ‘high’ like she was with 2 sprays of IS2x. I asked her if she’s willing to try it again and she is. I’m going to keep it at one spray of regular IS and I’ll let you all know how that goes.
