japanese girl question

I’ve been wearing mx200 lately, and today i paired it with mx105. 2 sprays of each to the neck.

however this thread isn’t really about any hits per say. this japanese girl i had this great little interaction with yesterday gave me 2 moments where I just didn’t know how to read into it.

the first, we had been talking about music taste similarities before, and i mentioned how linkin park was going to be performing in shanghai this week. she got fairly excited as she didn’t know but likes them, and as do I. however last night i found out that the concert was canceled. I leaned over during class today, poked her on the arm and told her. she gave me this BIGGGG exaggerated surprise gesture and facial expression. I have no idea if it was pheromone induced(i doubt it), but i also doubt that she was that concerned about the concert.

next, i had left the class room to go to the bathroom, and on the way back, i stopped infront of classroom next to ours, because my grad student friend was teaching a class in there.(chinese, 24 years old girl) i was just watching her teach(not creepily or anything) for a moment when the same girl left my classroom to go to the bathroom. as she walked by me, she stopped, and looked into the classroom with me. (in chinese) I told her that she was my friend. She replied, “is she cute?”

I sort of deflected the question saying she was my tutor last term and thats how i know her. I thought it was an odd question to ask.

I’m wondering if either of these two circumstances indicate that she might be a little interested in me. I haven’t been actively pursuing her, but i might give it a shot. but on the other hand, this might be my mind a) looking for hits that aren’t there, and b)reading into things far too much.

what do you think?

Obviously she’s puttin’ out her feelers ‘n checkin’ the lay of the land. Women tend to be socially much more, err, tuned in than men, so everything she did had a reason and she dutifully collected her data for consideration later.

A big surprised look over something that she knows you care about, but her not so much, and asking you if a girl that you’re looking at is cute?

Yeah I’d say there’s an interest on her part, and like Gegogi said, she’s tuned in and checking out the layout of the land, and waiting for you to make your next move.

Thing I can’t figure out is why he’s speaking Chinese to a Japanese girl.:confused:

We are both in china learning chinese in the same class. I can’t speak japanese (other than a few words, like “stupid hampster”) and she can’t speak english. however we can both communicate pretty well in chinese, so that is the medium language.

Women have more circumvented ways of communicating and acquiring information. As Gegogi said. Trying to read signs of attraction or non-attraction would be reading to much into those signals.
