Just an idea tossed out for consideration

What about a “sample card” of the various scents available from Androtics’? Like the old scratch ‘n’ sniff ads, or something like the perfume ads in women’s magazines? [Gack! Did I just say that? Please, nothing that ridiculously overpowering! Not the “smell the perfume as you walk past the magazine rack in the supermarket” intensity…]

Just thought something along this line would help convert some buyers who don’t want to risk purchasing a scent they may not like w/o a chance to smell it. I guess the great money-back guarantee may help mitigate a lot of that hesitancy, but a scratch ‘n’ sniff mailer probably has a lot less overhead than shipping & returns.

Like I said, just an idea. When they finally get that durn internet smellotron download system working right, we can get away from all this snail mail nonsense…

I like the idea, but I was actually thinking about a sample kit you could buy to let you try out some of the spray scents…It would have to be favorably priced though to work for first time buyers.

A more diverse selection of men’s scents would be nice. Everything new comes in Game, and the more I try to like it, the more I can’t stand it.

Ammo seems to be the only thing that comes in the ammo scent, but Jas has stated that it’s old tech and doesn’t diffuse as well (Seems fine to me).

I have never gotten a single product in the Akuto scent. Maybe my A314 is akuto, no idea. Either way, an oil scented product is a different beast. The scent is way less poweful (a good thing I think).

I got the MX 113 a while back and I think it was akuto scented. I wore it twice and both times it made me really sick to my stomache. So, I sent it to another forum member along with a few other pheros I wasn’t using and he wrote to say that it made him sick too, and that he wanted to send it back!

I don’t really like the game scent alot, but then again even the Ammo scent isn’t my favorite. That’s why I pretty well stick to the experimones and putatives, so I can cover with my own colognes.

Lots of times when they release a new mix they will do it in all the different scents to test how well each scent works with the mix. Usually that is when you get a chance to smell them all so keep that in mind next time you see a mix package come out.

The scratch and sniff thing is interesting but I dont know if they have the ability to do this. I am thinking no but you never know.

Wouldn’t scratch and sniff kind of defeat the most useful way to test something - by spraying and wearing? I really liked the test vial I got with my order and thought it would be the perfect amount to give a test run to. But I use cover scents anyway so if you really are more about the scents than the pheromones, a test strip might help as long as shipping doesn’t take too long or it’s not too hot out during shipping. Otherwise, the scent might be lost during diffusion from the heat though I’m not 100% sure about that.
