I’ve been watching advertisers of pheromones for years, and am just starting to believe some of the claims made.
I am looking especially for something to enhance my relationship with my wife, Laura. We spent the last 32 years making a family, and unfortunately neglecting each other. And now we’re faced with a bit of the empty nest syndrome, and want to rekindle the spark we had at the start. (Neither one of us really wants to look elsewhere.)
I recently received some spam for something called “Pheromone Advantage” from a Dr. Amends (sp.?) and wanted to verify his claims, and my search engine directed me here.
So here I am, interested in finding more info on the subject.
A lot of guys come here looking to do the same thing - refresh their relationship with their wife.

About Pheromone Advantage, well i have heard about it & i just bought a bottle to see how it work based on its claims. I can’t tell much about it as i haven’t received it yet.

Okay. About a month ago I placed an order for 4 togo’s (IS, IH, IO, TUTH) and got a 5th one (Ammo) thrown in.
Now this is my first experience using 'mones, and I have to say, the results are “uneven”.
My best responses come from IS, followed by IH.
My “injun” blood must be too strong, because the IO makes me smell like fecal waste matter, both to myself and to others (they’ve complained).
Though >>I<< notice it when I wear the TUTH or Ammo, it seems noone else does.
In fact, ANY ‘mone I wear of this group seems to work by amplifying my own self-awareness, then causing me to react more sensitively to others’ cues, rather than affecting their behaviour directly.
The IO is scented in a neroli smell as well as the other instant lines and it dries down in smell in about 15 minutes or so. The mones can mix with your sweat, if you sweat a lot and the bacteria your body naturally produces can cause an adverse smell and is converted into none which is in the products like ammo and TUTH.
You can cover them with your own cologne if you want. The ones that have neroli scent are easily covered and you will then only smell your own cologne. Some users report similar situations as it just depends on the individual and the climate where they reside. Ammo is already scented at cologne strength scent and that is probably why you are not experiencing that dilemma with that product.
Mones are there to give you self effects as well and they do enhance your self awareness in scenarios because they increase confidence. its important for you to keep that awareness also directed on others reactions and pay attention to hits as most times they are subtle. This is not a magical potion that will act like the axe commercials where people are falling all over you. They work on the subconscious level and you still have to do work in steering the conversations, events where you want them to go.
I don’t really know what you are looking for. Many details are so private I glossed over them; I wouldn’t want to discuss them on a public forum.
Right now my wife is taking part in a double-blind hormone substitution (testosterone) study for postmenopausal women from once every 8-10 months to three times a week), I suspect the last batch was placebo (back to zero). I’m also trying to see if the mones make a difference; so far no luck. I am assuming the problems lie in my methodolgy not the mones themselves. The social mones seem to make a difference at work; but I’m not really looking at the other possibilities. Not that they aren’t there; it’s just that I’m not really interested in exciting anyone around beside my wife.
For our history, in a family blowup before our wedding, her parents cancelled it (the wedding), so we eloped and had a “you’n’me against the world” thing going for so many years. (And people call ME paranoid.)
After 15 years and 3 kids that kinda fell apart, typical financial problems, she went though menopause, and we’ve pretty much lived like brother & sister for 18 years while the kids were growing up. The oldest is now married & out of the house; her 2 brothers are in college, and there isn"t much of a center to hold anymore.
Me? Growup? Not a Chance. I’m in sales, working 43 years now, 29 years management experience in sales and engineeering, and I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up. I never take a dare, but never turn one down – no-one tells me how to take a dare.
She’s a geriatric nurse with 24 years experience, and so conservative she should know better by now. She knows that quitting equals death, and should be contributing to this. But she expects me to carry the whole load.
So I need the help. And I hope I haven’t raised more questions than I’ve answered.
