Last night, I went out to a karaoke night at a bar with a group of people. There were about 8 of us: 6 guys, 2 girls. I sprayed on the following pheromones before heading out. Some pretty fun hits transpired, different on different people. If it makes a difference for the list below, I wore a T-shirt.
Ammo World: 3 sprays, on the neck
Instant Openness: 2 sprays, one on each arm
Instant Shine: 2 sprays, one on each arm
P84: 1 spray, on forehead
Ammo Summer: 1 spray, on upper lip (for self-effect)
Self
As usual, I got some self-effects. Except unlike from pure Ammo Summer, which made me feel super-relaxed and hypnotized by light poles while driving, Ammo World gave me more of an “I own this road” kind of feel, although all within the boundaries of safe driving. I hope they don’t fade soon, because I love the self-effects.
My group
They treated me mostly as they usually do. Although I did have a quite easier time getting my voice heard. They also spent a lot less time egging me on to go sing or dance with a girl. I did those things anyway, and it seems like they trusted me to be brave enough to do it.
Bar employees
It was mostly women who worked there, with men being just the DJ and the manager. The men were very respectful and polite with me, and responded to my approaches almost instantaneously. I had to use only a minimum effort of assertiveness to get my requests fulfilled, like to put in a song request with the DJ, and to ask the manager to send the waitress to my table. The women’s responses were more mixed. One bar girl was totally awesome! She smiled at me, walked up to edge of the bar the second she saw me walking over, brought my drinks in under a minute, and called me “hon” (although if she’s from the South, that’s normal). Other girls didn’t smile as much, and it even seemed like they brought my drinks reluctantly.
Two non-single women
There were two girls in the bar who were singing karaoke. They were up, and I was standing close enough to hear their request: “Apple Bottom Jeans”. Suddenly, they looked right at me, and waved me over to sing with them. So I did. We did a little bit of grinding during the chorus, with the girls making a TheAttractor sandwich. At the end, they said “thanks for playing”, each of them gave me a light hug—the kind women give when a handshake feels too formal, and a full hug is unfitting—and walked back to their boyfriends.
Three women, one of them single
As other people sang, I saw three women get up and dance to the song. I whispered to another guy at my table to help me out, and we walked over to the dancing women. I grabbed the one looking at me by the hand, and started dancing with her. The song was jazz-like, which you can swing dance to. The woman didn’t know swing, but could follow my lead pretty well, and complimented me a lot. I looked over at the guy helping me out; he was dancing too, but I was getting a much more affectionate dance. She danced very closely, oblivious of the fact that we met just minutes ago.
The single woman: part 1
It was a fairly long song, so I had plenty of time to enjoy her company. After the dance, we exchanged a close hug, and I kind of let her be, as not to monopolize her company and not abandon my friends. (Although them being mostly guys, they’d understand.) About 45 minutes later, I went onstage to sing. My song was “American Pie” by Don McLean. A verse or two into the song, my “new friend”, mentioned in the last paragraph, joined in to sing with me. Her friends joined in a few seconds later, but they simply stood there. This woman was acting very cuddly with me, in front of the entire bar: wrapping her arm around me, putting her head on my shoulder, and rubbing her hair against me. Then a really nice hug at the end of the song.
The single woman: part 2
Again, to avoid showing desperation and/or monopolizing her, I kind of let her be, so she could enjoy her friends’ company. But that’s not all: I got her phone number at the end of the night. And her face seemed to light up when I asked her. I don’t know if anyone follows the three-day rule anymore, or maybe it only applies to first dates, not initial meetings. So I’ll call or text her tonight, or tomorrow at the latest.
Closing thoughts
Wow! I must have discovered a great mix. It was hits, hits, hits, hits! (Sing the last sentence to the tune of “shots, shots, shots, shots” for full effect.) This also made me think about something. Not too long before this experience, I went on a date with a woman I met on the internet. It was a nice date and the woman was cool, but the whole online dating process just felt so dry and clinical. Live encounters in a music/dance environment, like in this report, are so much fun and feel a lot more human. I’m pheromones play a major role here.
