The creator of this enigmatic fragrance describes his creation as this:
" When I created l’Air du désert marocain, which still is my personal favourite, I had a picture in mind, a hotel bed in Marakkesh, in the early evening, the sun gone.

The moon would rise soon and I imagined myself being in this room, lying on the bed, exhausted from the heat of the day, with the window open, letting the cool air in.
A soft and dry wind coming in, carrying the scents from the near desert, and the spices of the busy streets below. Laying on the bed, dreaming of a moon raising over the sandy hills of the Saharan desert, I dreamt the fragrance of a Moroccan night."
I bought a sample of this and it is a scent that is all about the dry desert air mixed in with exotic spices and a sweet vanille at its base. But before you get there you have this lovely warm sweet vapor like amber that has great sillage.
If you can imagine the sun hitting the desert and the smells of incense and spice from a nearby market in morocco then you are nearly there.
I would agree with what they say about this fragrance that it is a modern masterpiece. Its very niche and you appreciate it more when you have worn it a few times as you do have to get used to its exotic nature.![]()
