I had poured some P83 into an old TOGO bottle. A few weeks ago I left that TOGO bottle lying on its side near where I sleep. Today I found a little puddle of liquid under the bottle. It has been leaking. The top is screwed on tight, but it is leaking anyway. I thought the problem with TOGO bottles was that the top comes loose and that all you needed to do was to put some tape around it to keep it screwed on tight. Obviously, the old version of the TOGO bottle can leak anyway. The new ones have a frosty finish. I haven’t had any problem with those.
P83 leaking into my bedroom. No wonder I have felt so agitated recently!! And getting worse every day as the puddle got larger and diffused more unwanted pheromone into my room. Those leaky old TOGO bottles were a menace. It has been increasingly difficult for me to sleep or to concentrate. I put it into a sealed plastic bag and threw it away.
While I’m at it, let me talk about Sephora atomizers. They seem sturdy because they have a metal (aluminum) outter shell. I liked them a lot, at first.
Recently I went into a government building with one in my jacket pocket. I decided to leave it in my pocket as I put my keys and cell phone in the basket and walked through the metal detector. I wanted to see if they would find it, and I felt like I had less at risk in this situation than at the airport.
Well, the metal detector beeped. So they went over me with the hand-held and concluded it was my belt buckle, which is never a problem at the airport. I guess the test was inconclusive, but if they got my belt buckle and not the atomizer…
I have used four Sephora atomizers. One worked fine for a few days and then just stoped. I can’t figuer what is wrong with it. It wouldn’t spray anymore when I was really depending on it! Another one started leaking when I was on vacation and I lost a lot of valuable pheromone, which I couldn’t replace under those circumstances.
Two outta four ain’t so good. The new TOGO bottles are looking better and better. And they’re inexpensive.
somebody needs to make a wooden stand for the To Go’s. every day i get home and find that a bottle or three (they’re like dominoes) is knocked over. they still haven’t leaked yet but getting them to stand upright is a chore.
i ended up constructing a “fortress” of sorts, using my full sized bottles as a barricade and placing each of the dozen or so To Go bottles i have in between them.
Geez, i wanted to order some stuff in ToGOs to try out, but now i’m a little worried. Wonder will androtics use the old ToGo bottles(leftover stock) or the new ones? Are the new ToGo bottles completely safe(any complaints regarding leakage so far?)??

There was a problem for about a three week period where it was identified that the supplier tried another source and those 5 mL atomizers leaked. This was corrected, and anyone that received one of those that submitted a ticket had it replaced. We didn’t ask for it to be shipped back, we let our client keep the bottle even though in 99% of cases very little leaked and issued a GC/Refund/sent another without question.
This is how we treat our clients always. Giving the benefit of doubt to the client can be expensive and those old To Go bottles almost broke the bank. Thank goodness it was corrected and I have heard of none others since those that have leaked . If anyone has a problem with a leaking bottle, whether old or new they should submit a ticket.

First off, Androtics sells atomizers and they work. I removed the link because its not very good for you to be sending people to another store that sells what appears to be the same atomizers. That was not cool!
Sorry steve, i did not think it was a big deal since we are always talking about other pheros as well from other products like love scents
and these guys just have a lot more selection on what size whether it be 1 ml, 2 ml, or 5 ml, did not think it was a big deal since androtics main product is not selling atomizers
I understand, but that company was selling in bulk, which most likely would take away business from Androtics. Just think of it this way: If it could be construed as a wholesaler, than its not allowed.
No hard feelings but this thread is causing new members to think there is a problem. Why Warren brought this up, many many months after the problem was resolved I’m not sure.

np Steve…to be honest I totally forgot You guys even sell To Go bottles individually, I was just kind of referring to the sephora atomizers to stay away from them since they are more expensive, was just trying to help out a fellow pherotalker

I own a 7 or 8 Sephora atomizers and haven’t had any problems with leaking or clogging and I carry them everyday (alcohol carriers only, no oils). I’d return any bad ones as they cost frickin’ 8 bucks. I don’t bother with togos except in emergencies. Most of mine have leaked in my pocket or suitcase. In fairness, my togos are from last year. Besides, the togo spray pattern is too coarse and, hell, the bottle looks ugly. I prefer the fine mist and nice lines of the Sephora.
Warren also pointed out, that in his experince, the less expensive A.P.R. togo bottles appear to function in a superior manner to the Sephora atomizers.
And he reminds readers that very inexpensive empty A.P.R. togo bottles are avilable.
Gentlemen, if you have any of the old style togo bottles, I assure you it is to your advantage to toss then when they are empty rather than contemplate reusing them for your own mixes.
