I wondered what happened to Ail. I enjoyed her no-holds barred opinions both here and at Love Scent. She is a woman of principle and totally unwilling or unable to compromise. I used to be that way but found it a rough ride, so I engage only when truly necessary (save a few slips).
Incidentally I too was warned about “indiscretions” and banning was mentioned and discussed. However, not for being a man of principle and standing up for righteousness, but for undermining the forum censorship algorithm and writing instructions on how to dance around it. Nothing evil intended. I merely got tired of my posts disappearing into the moderator void. They seem to have fixed the problem after the forum update.

IMO, a person’s character corresponds with how he/she being treated in the past and present. In Ail’s case, she had been a battered wife for nearly 8 years and nearly lost her life due to brutal abuses from her former husband…and in result developed some other characters such as highly sensitive and defensive towards something that she might see as aggressors or oppressors (in words/opinion) even if it is in a form of writings such as in this forum. There’s nothing wrong with this…it’s a normal human nature. To me, we can’t change others (and I don’t think we should) but we can learn to adapt, tolerate and accept others as how they are.

I think we should appreciate each other more, and try and see the goodness in humanity, after all, we will all be dead soon enough, and then what was our pride all in aid of ? she wasnt “seeing” or “viewing” anyone as an agressor,LOL, but she did think that perpetuating the idea (and then teaching it) that women were objects to be rated and discarded in poor taste.
i agree she should have kept her opinions to herself;she should have tolerated the way we have to tolerate in the outside world.
i dont see it being truthful to see an incident in your past for being the reason you have an opinion about everything.
will extra salt on her food be an agressor if it was thrown at her at one time but she doent want it on her meal?

Yeah! I agree with your point here…it’s sad to see people leave and decided not to contribute their valuable opinions/experiences anymore, but as we all know, we can’t decide for others. As this community ‘grows’, we may face with some “minor problems” from time to time. Like the tide, people will come and go…and all we can do is to appreciate them while they are here…

Glad to be able to reply Mohammad, and also good to see you still alive and kicking, as also there are some familiar faces still here which is good, even Bronzie has put in appearence i see, he was absent from the forums for a good while. I am just looking in mainly to check up on new phero applications and perceptions, and i am going to be keeping personal type opinions to myself, not that i have any small particle of animosity for any member of the forum, as i realize i have been rather a scathing person in the past, i have read many of the posts by Ail also in the year gone by, and if i do not see her again i will also be sad, as i can never forget the support she offered me at times, even though she also gave me a good whack with her trusty broom when i deserved it, but i think of her with affection respect and kindness, she seems too good to be lost to the forum i think. Well i really had better git away from this personal stuff and back to the Phero facts and veiwing, so see you buddy, And hey whats your fav phero or mix at this point in time ? I am trialing something at the moment, cost me an arm and a leg, but no results at all yet.

However it wasn’t on the book shelf. But in the section where it was supposed to be there was another book, How to Make Anyone Fall in Love with You (How to Make Anyone Fall in Love with You: Lowndes, Leil: 9780809229895: Amazon.com: Books) which has an interesting approach. It was written byLeil Lowndes, who wrote How to Talk to Anyone: 92 Little Tricks for Big Success in Relationships. This book takes an interesting “communications” approach to “meeting and mating”. I would be interested in anyone else’s opinion if they happen to read it.

I’ve got the How to make anyone fall in love with you, it was very helpful to me when I read it over a year ago. Perhaps I should give it a look again.. simple but powerful stuff. I’m on her list too, she gives some tips every few months.
