Let's get controversial! PUAs!

I
I understand and agree with your stance on this, and am tempted myself to take a little “time off” even though I was not personally insulted.

That said, you are indeed a wonderful person Ail, and we’ll miss you.

I’ll second that.

I’ll third it.

Like I said before, Ail, we don’t agree on everything, but you’re gutsy and kind and true to yourself, and I have great respect and admiration for that.

Be well, lovely. I’ll try to remain in touch as well. :o

:frowning:

You’ll definitely be missed.

That’s sad… Don’t leave the women’s forum, they clearly respect you and your posts. It was just internet arguing, I for instance just saw it as entertaining to share views and did not take offence to what you said… just so you know I did not intend for this to happen.

I think you should take a break, just as you’ve decided. But what I disagree with is you leaving this forum permanently. Jasmin saw it was heating up and took the right action, of course, she’s running a business here. But she’s very reasonable and for what I’ve seen, an intelligent poster, so that said: I think she would unban" you from the Men’s forum after this has cooled down.

Consider this with that in mind that the women here value your contribution, and even some men. I, for once, was just happy the thread didn’t die.

Well, that said, good bye and at least keep it in mind that you’re probably just welcome to stay and continue sharing your opinions.

Wow! Sara! I have to salute you!!:stuck_out_tongue:

…and it makes me wonder too…

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, I had to come out of the woodwork for this, it put a smile to my face…

Wait so why’s Ali leaving?

She seems to speak her mind quite often but I haven’t heard anything worth banning for from her.

I will be curious to see if the forum administrators actually fulfill Ail’s hope of deleting all evidence of her account.

If there was an arbitration case that I had to adjudicate, I don’t think I would ~allow~ all of those posts to be removed, let alone require it; they are part of creating a community, and everyone here has a potential interest in retaining them.

Once you made the contributions, Ail, they ceased to be your property. They were given … as contributions, and I don’t see that you have a stand to demand they be “taken back”.

Is this supposed to be a “pack up my toys and go home” gesture?

i have to wonder what the point of this particular post is,Markl.

BRONZIE as well.

can positive or useful come from questioning someone or about someone who can nolonger reply to your comments?

what good will come of this?

bronzie came out of the woodwork to laugh at Ail after her banning, but wheres the balls in that?

also,Ail’s contributions would definately be missed if they were to be removed.
i would not like them lifted either.

i actually take into account when someone posts anything, if they have a genuine interest in adding something positive to the forum/community, or if everything they have EVER posted is negative / demeaning / AND has anything to do with pheromone usage at all.

some people here do not even use pheromones or have ever used an Androtics product, yet they are allowed to speak as if they have anything to contribute.

id be MORE inclined to point THAT out.

You guys do know that that post by Ail is like a month old right? Gem left at the same time too by the way.

While I agree with you, the men’s forum had to be free for any and all to be posted…by men.

this means that ALL men’s views have to be respected, whether or not anyone of any gender agrees with it.

if we started moderating because we disagreed with views, then we would have to moderate an awful lot, and i personally like to know i can say what i think in the womens forum.

i think the men ought to have that freedom too.

in Ail’s case, buttons were pushed for this exact outcome.
that is just my opinion, just my

.

Some of you people take this forum way too seriously and blur reality with fantasy, this particular post is an example of that.

By the way, I didnt reply to this post so I could humiliate Ail or “laugh” at her as Lor stated (she already did a good job at that). In fact, I liked Ail and thought she was articulate or rather imaginative on alot of things, perhaps now, since she has been banned, she could channel some of her built up “anger at the world” energy to something a little more constructive rather than waste it on 20 year old PUA wannabees on a pheromone forum.

Lor, get a life.

Not sure why you called your subject HAHAHAHAHAHA if you weren’t laughing or why it’s more constructive to use energy to resurrect a painful month old episode and then start in on Lor. Lor, I don’t disagree that men have to have a place to post where their views are respected, I only wish that women did too. But apparently not.

Lor, regrets if my motives weren’t clear … I was trying to say if I had to make a choice about “cleaning house” and removing all of Ail’s posts, I would not do it, even though she seems to have wanted that.

Actually, although I thought that some of Ail’s “hot button” responses were … over-reactions … I considered many of her posts to be a] knowledgeable or b] insightful or c] delightful / entertaining.

I realize that Ail might never come back, but then again, she might. And even if she is banned (temporarily, or for all time) from POSTING in the Men’s forum, that’s not the same as “cannot respond”.

I wish Ail and Gem had stuck a while longer… but I appreciate that she felt “embattled” and didn’t need the stress…

my apologies MarkL.
i didnt know you didnt know shes banned- period.
she cant reply to anything at all in any forum now as far as i know.

Do people get banned here too? I thought I read someone said that this is an “unsensored” forum! I can understand about the technical malfunction the forum is having now but this is the first time I hear forum member being banned!:open_mouth: :o And if it is true, what particular reason which contributes to it? Expressing an opinion even if it is opposed by a 1000 people still does not justify it. I don’t know for sure whether she was banned or she quit. Perhaps the administrator could kindly clarify the matter…

your not the boss of me.

as far as I know,Ail is the only one,and for the most part,it is.

without rehashing it, there was a heated moment and this was the result.

we dont see heated moments here often.

as a matter of fact, we get alot of “welcomes” and “enjoy the forum” s here from especially hospitable forum members   :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh! Wow! Talk about out of touch… My apologies for opening up old painful business… pause

bows deep to the room

I offer my sincere regrets if I contributed to this unfortunate outcome. But now that this is done, I wish that Ail may find peace, with everyone else who is/was distressed by these events. And especially, thanks and support to Jasmin, who had to make what was surely a difficult call.

bows deep to the room

It is my interpretation (granted a bit after the fact now) that Ail was restriced from posting in the men’s forum as a kind of “timeout” brought about by some rather “hot button pushing” interchanges.

I also think she is not the only one who has/had been resticted in some way or has had some posts deleted/edited. It’s just not advertised. (Also refer to MHarris’s thread on “how you want to be censored” some time ago).

It is also my understanding that she then voluntarily requested her account be “closed” (you will notice the info panel to the left no longer includes her “reputation” numbers etc). I don’t think she was unilaterally totally “banned” by the administration.

Also IMO there has been some lack of basic courtesy displayed by some members of this forum. But that’s just me.

Just my opinions.

dig those ever-changing anime avatars, you are always interesting !!!

just my opinion
