Hey all, I’m 22 and live in the US and love traveling. White male with an average build and height. Randomly ran across pheromone research reading science blogs and found my way to the PheroTalk forums (please let me know of others that are reputable!)
I rarely trust the adverts and endorsements on product-for-sale websites, so I’m feeling my way around the forums to see what common truths exist and why the potential in my life might be. Needless to say, I’m excited about the possibilities! I’ve stopped myself twice already from placing orders in order to keep reading and feel well-educated about the particular molecules, ratios, products, and combo effects. I get the feeling at this point that this is going to be a life-long hobby!
I just wish I’d gotten into this sooner - I’ve always been interested in brain-body feedback as a biologist (first career was genetics) such as Neurolingistic Programming (NLP), the psychology of influence, body language reading, hypnotism, binary beat music, neuroendocrinology, etc. I’ve read quite a bit but never dove too deep into all subjects, knowing a lot about a little and a little about a lot. So I’m fairly well able to understand the biology, biochemistry, and neurology behind the research, and I am looking forwards to being able to contribute my observations to the community.
My current career is in computer and technology, doing internal consulting for a large company on how to make better use of technology within the enterprise - I see tons of uses for pheromones in this and doing consulting work to gain an edge in winning contracts and pitching ideas, aside from just doing shameless self-promotion to climb the ladder!
Anyway, lots of interesting stuff to learn about and try, from my own love life to work, I definitely think I’ve got the bug for this, my first experiences when trying it out will see.
Currently, I would like to try all kinds of mones (ie. socials, sexual/attraction, respect, etc) but I think I’ll probably start off with a social and maybe a respect product to get things started so any recommendations for those two kinds would be greatly appreciated.
