Love-Scent website gone offline: server problems, back soon

Radio is not on your list? :open_mouth:

Don’t forget the Top Ramen and guns! :stuck_out_tongue:

Guns, I thought that was a given, didn’t even need to mention it. lol

I hate Ramen. I think I would rather eat dirt.
Anyway, this was all tongue-in-cheek.

I know, I was just messing with you.

That’s the point, there were problems, they were fixed before 1/1/2000!

That was my general impression of astrology too, until intelligent people who have an intimate knowledge of the subject said there is something more to it. There were enough ā€œphdā€ and ā€œknow-it-allā€ reviews of pheromones that said they didn’t work before I tried them too. They ended up being people who had never tried them. I listened to the people who had actually tried them.

yeah but the world would not have collapsed even if it was not fixed

lets face it 50 years ago we had no computers we have survived thousands of years without technology even if every PC stopped working which it would not even if it was not patched.

so many people thought Jesus and end times was coming, that was really my main point

we had all these people running around in NYC saying he is coming rapture is coming on Y2k…then again you still have those people today…but 6 months before that day it was hundreds times worst

I think they are even making a movie called 2012 about the mayan calendar…my point is people are paranoid and superstitious when it comes to numbers

Yep, it is built into us… this fascination with numbers and more generally, all kinds of repeating patterns… but if it weren’t the case, we’d still be living in caves and have no plasma TV’s or anything. Math rules!

Diane

Sometimes I’m glad I took calculus  lol

sometimes i think if we did not have computers / ipods/ cell phones / blackberry’s

this world will be so much better

I would not have to compete with them when trying to get a ladies attention she is so glued to texting it is so damn annoying

When I am on the train most people would rather be social on facebook through their blackberry then with a real live person sitting next to them…it so damn annoying

/rant off LOL

I have to totally agree with this in a way, not that I’m not thankful for electronics because I love them. However, this is very true for most. I’ll use my self as an example, always texting while walking! That’s dangerous, especially that girl who fell into a manhole for doing the same thing and not paying attention.

Which is why I giggled my everloving ass off when I read the story of the girl who fell into a manhole in NYC because she was texting and not watching where she was going.

you saw that story too? LOL

did you hear her parents want to sue the city of NY…go figure…

Anything for a quick buck, especially in this economy.

Oh yeah, the story made national news. And yes, I heard. Perhaps the city workers should have cordoned off the hole, but it still doesn’t remove responsibility from the idiot tart for not paying attention.

This is clearly a case I’d love to see in front of Judge Judy. She’d laugh for 5 minutes and then tell the girl and her parents to get the hell out of her courtroom.
