I have virtually no experience with AD products as of right now (except for meo-est and mutant a314, which are both unusual products, both of which are no longer carried or will not be carried for much longer) so I can’t really make a mix suggestion.
HOWEVER, I think if you are going to make a mix for every user who suggests a mix, it would be so much easier to give them a different series line notation than MX, because there are plenty of MXes as it is and I for one would not be able to keep up with all the new ones. Maybe a UMX line, categorized by user name instead of number: for example, UMXlive4themusic, or UMXl4m
In case one user contributes multiple mixes coughcatlordcough you could call them UMXusername1, UMXusername2, etc.
My “Sex Mix”
6 drops Lust After Me
3 sprays Instant Sexiness/ A
75 mcg TAH
This is for one application.
So, since the To-Go bottles are 5ml., I would suggest
1 ml Lust After Me
2 ml InstantSexiness/ Mix A
2 ml of 25 mcg concetration TAH
Why not something geared specifically for use around the workplace. I’m horrible about precisely measuring mixes, BUT Betanol, an A314 derivitive, TAA, and TAF sounds like a hit. Mix it in with a light ‘work appropriate’ type fragrance and you’re good to go.
If “classic” A314 in an aerosol form and IFM were sold together - at a low dose, in a large “department store cologne” styled bottle and scented like Ammo (or unscented, so I can add it to a cologne bottle like Athena), I’d be in for a lifetime supply. I say “at a low dose” and “in a large bottle” so that I can spray a decent amount of it all over my body, just like an ordinary cologne.
Now there’s a possible idea I just might could agree with. IFM and Atuko or similar (maybe in a 2X or greater formulation so you’d get a good dose of IFM but not overwhelming amount of cover scent), although I did like the Clary Sage overtones the IFM I got had.
Maybe Androtics could also offer really cool looking but empty “cologne” style spray bottles with removable tops for our own mixes to “conceal” them in… although we would have to experiment with the dosings of the sprays.
Another idea - and this one could be quickly/cheaply implimented – How about selling large, clear and presentable, empty spray bottles with easy screw-off tops and funnels? Clear glass would be nice.
I have an empty to go bottle also - that’s what gave me the idea - but I want a much larger version that I can mix a large amount of complex mixes into along with a few sprays of my cologne. I’m talking Catload style mixes. A bottle that could hold 2-3 fluid ounces might be about right for mixing 10-20 sprays of pheromones along with a few sprays of cologne. And a pre-bundled, matching funnel of the correct size for catching those sprays would be necessary.
Selling a small amount of decanted cologne/perfume already in the large, empty bottle would be a nice option to have. That way you could add your catload-style mix to an expensive cologne/perfume decant that comes in a large and presentable bottle that is perfect for mixing your custom mixes in.
Incidentally, you do NOT want to use clear bottles as containers when dealing with pheromone products, or anything containing essential oils. We stick to cobalt or navy-blue, amber or bottle-green to preserve the potency of the product and protect it from sunlight.
Actually I didn’t miss it. I just prefer a larger spray bottle instead of the ugly blue chemistry-lab styled dropper bottle. But I did forget about needing a colored bottle. Thanks!
In case Michael is interested in carrying these, here’s a place you can get larger glass atomizers by the case (or by the dozen, for us end-users). Click on Start Shopping/Bottles/Atomizers. I’ve ordered from them several times - decent products, great prices.
Can you tell I do a lot of decanting?
By the way, 10-20 sprays will fill a 1-ml sample vial (depends on the length of the spray tubing in your source atomizer) - you’d need as many as 50-100 sprays to fill a 5-ml atomizer, and 600-1200 to fill a 2-ouncer. Your hands will get very strong!
WOW. Fricking awesome - thanks!
The to-go bottles don’t seem to last very long and I’m starting to get into more complex mixes. If I wanted to mix 4 to go bottles with a “to go” size amount of cologne… wait a second…
alright, the to-go bottles are labeled inconsistently.
half of them say “5 fl oz / .17 ml” and half of the bottles say “5ml / .17 fl oz”.
Which is it? The bottom line is that I want to be able to mix 5 “to go” size bottles into one container. What size bottle do I need?
OK, that website says the to-go bottles are 5ml each. I found a 30ml clear plastic spray bottle for $1 at http://www.lotioncrafter.com/store/PET-Oval-Bottle-1-Ounce-pr-16273.html – as an artist I have tons of unused paint lying around. figure I can paint / dip the bottle in some acrylic paint or some primer to keep out light. Any better ideas? It’s 9:30 a.m. - I’m tired and not thinking clearly. Need a nap. BFN.
What I do is simply keep all essential oils, perfumes and pheromones in a cool dark place like a bedroom drawer (a medicine cabinet gets too warm, with heat from the lights, shower etc); light exposure is not an issue that way. If you want to keep your 1-ounce bottle of mix out in the light, then your painting idea sounds fine.
