10 minutes before arriving.
I sat at a table with 3 couples … 1 couple I knew.
A young couple, caucasian, with the wife (28, thick, cutee!)seated next to me. I was meeting everybody and being my normal crazy self, with my first comment being, “I wonder if the meatballs are angus beef?” Everybody laughs, but she laughs longer, and the goes into her whole family thing … two kids, just bought a house, need to work out, we get along well, yuddar yuddar yuddar.
I’m thinking she doesn’t get out much, until I actually started paying attention. She kept looking at me as though she wanted to say something … with a smile. So much so, that I started getting kind of uncomfortable, with her hubby right there.
She asks where I work out, I answer, and she grabs my bicep, in which her husband eyes meet her hand at my bicep, and says, “It looks like it’s working,” holding my bicep.I say, “Fooled you! It’s the shirt!”
Next up … I’m at the table signing the wedding book. A middle-aged (40-40+) walks up as I’m straightening up. I let out a moan, and say, “Dag, that table’s way down there!” because I had to bend down to sign the book. She says, “I know what you mean.” Jokingly, I say, “No you don’t! It’s impossible! You’re short!” She’s says, “What good is being tall.” I say, “Reallllllll good!” She cracks up, I walk away.
Taking a picture of the couple eating the cake. The same 40 year-old comes up beside me, but bumps the young lady that is next to me at the table, trying to take the same pic. She says, “I’m sorry.” I say, "See! Over here trying to mess up my pics because I’m taller." She says, “You’re lucky my husband’s here.” I say, “No, you’re lucky your husband’s here!”
Back at my table and getting ready to go. Looking and smiling, looking and smiling, looking and smiling … is the young lady. I say to all, “Well, it was nice meeting everybody.” Everybody says, “It was the same.” She gets up, looking into my eyes, adjusts her top, turns to go, and says, “I might as well get something to eat,” while looking into my eyes and smiling. I say, “Don’t tell anyone, but I tasted crow when I ate one of the meatballs. There was a lot of road kill missing from off my road when I came out this morning.” Everybody laughs as I walk off.
