My advice to buyers outside United States.

So your second order arrived even faster than the first order, first arriving package?

Probably is a case of a “quantum leap”!

I just received my L-Arginine capsules sent from IL, on February 4th.,using USPS today (February 12th). It took 8 days…not bad at all considering it is a normal option costing USD 2.70, but the seller on ebay charged me USD 10.00 for the shipping cost! Perhaps he thought that I have plenty of money kept in the Swiss bank!

Must be Mohammad!

Actually prior to Androtics i never had i problem with the US mail and now im waiting 4 months for two separate orders.

I gotta admit im very pissed off!

So i sent an e-mail to SteveO last night.I hope he can help out. There is so much i wanna order.

Oh No!:open_mouth: Have you informed Androtics about this? I know this is the USPS problem but I think that you should bring up this matter to them. Perhaps they can find a way to improve the situation.

Well iv PMed Tisha and SteveO We cant PM Jas with these issues. She is busy enough already.

I Dont know Mohammad im a bit spooked.

Two packages both seemingly lost!

Of course im not blaming anyone anything could have happened.

What more can i do?

The worst thing is ill probably never get to test ‘chemical romance’ (unavailable) and ‘mx 103’ i would have liked that.

Yeah! It’s quite funny sometimes and at the same time it’s scary too for not knowing if we will receive what we ordered or not. I used to buy things from US, UK and Hong Kong using normal mail and so far I have no problem except for my lost package of pheromones more than a year ago.

Well, Flaming, I don’t intend to demoralize you, but since it has been too long, don’t put much hope on it.

Well SteveO got back to me.He is resending my first order and crediting the amount of the second since it contained products that are no longer available.

I’m so grateful they didn’t have to resend but they have

I was very touched indeed ill be a customer at Androtics for a long time to come.

I’m glad to come to know this. For sure the people in Androtics are really great!

I just received my Barometer which I ordered from UK, took 4 days only to arrive. I can predict the rain and storm now. Items I bought from US normally will take 6 - 8 days, from Hong Kong will take 10 days. Since all these items were sent by normal postage, I’m quite impressed!

Nice Barometer Mohammad!

Yeah normal post is usually fine.Maybe its liquids that are complicated hmmm

Thanks, Flaming!

But I still doubt that liquids delay the shipments. Can the customs open and check thousands of parcels that arrive everyday?

Hmmm probably not!..but i could have been the unlucky one lol

Hope you receive your replacement package soon.

I’ve ordered a lot of stuff from all over the world, and by my experience, USPS is very reliable.

But whoever is shipping the stuff must absolutely make sure the shipping is by air. (priority mail) Usually arrives at my doorstep within 1-2 weeks. Considering the price differential between USPS and other postal services, like DHL, UPS etc, that is very good value for your money.

Otherwise it will go ground, ie by some bananaboat that can tour southamerica, china and a few other places along the way. Ground always takes anywhere from 2 to 4 months.

Yes they can in a way, both USPS and customs have machinery that will do it for us. Just plop it on the conveyer belt and they pass under the scanner and anything liquid will shoot off into another area. Then its gos to a room that they check each one for proper labels. The unlabled ones go to the next hub they can open and check those or send by freighter or truck depending on the label which takes forever .

So yes Liquids are what delays the orders at least for the postal service. As you know I work for USPS. We ask every customer when they drop off shipments if the packages contains anything “Perishable, flammible, liquid, or potentially dangerous” You can get fired for not asking. I know it sounds stupid because people can just lie and we have caught them lieing about it. They have machinery that will indicate if a package is potentially liquid and customs or the postal inspector can then open it. If its marked with the clerk emblem that the customer indicated it was not liquid then they can confiscate it or keep in in the holding faculity as long as they want and fine you.

You can still mail packages that contain liquid if it has a full return address label on the outside as well as a sticker that indicates what is on the inside of the package. Most people do not want a label that says pheromones on the outside of a package though. They still do ramdom checks and once they hit on one that says “perfume” or something like that and they open it and find that is not they will flag anything that comes from that company.

We can no longer pick up parcels from mailboxs that weigh more then 13oz those have to be brought in by hand to a clerk so they can ask you that question.

All this was implimented when the airlines banned liquids on commercial flights. We use commercial airlines to send packages overseas and across the border to canada. DHL has there own fleet so does fed ex (not sure why they dont use them)

So this is why there has been a sudden change in the postal service when it comes to shipping certain packages in the past 6 months. Its not something that USPS wants to do its something we have to do and its really killing the business. We had a big meeting and they are talking about layoffs for the first time in postal history just the other day. They have asked us to push postal products like express and global but how the hell can we do that with all the regultions. People just dont want to deal with all the rules and red tape.

Tisha

Thanks for such a detailed response!

Tisha your amazing

So, Flaming, now you know where your pheromones are!

Definitely, she is!

LOL So they are taking a cruise

…But its over 4 months
