My Phero theory on weight lifting

Yes, BB is more in line with the Weider approach and IFBB competition. I have three cycles of different things on hand, and given the amount of time needed between cycles, that works out to about a year. Have to go to work. Later.

Bodybuilding.com - Testkits Information and Product Listing! Testkits FAQ!

DiscountAnabolics.com Forum - Powered by vBulletin tis my source of learning about SUPPLEMENTS … all that other stuff … just not interested in, with the exception of test boosters. What I have become to believe is that a lot of the stuff is body weight specific. Still learning/trying to learn.

yes i used to read a lot of articles of bodybuilding.com,especially the ketogenic diet forum.

The best suplements i ever probed for getting bigger were High doses of BCAA and flax seeds oil with enought protein in my diet.

I hace just come back of gym, since many time withought training, and i love the sensations of coming back…

i must sayd im trying to rise my cortisol levels(yes,it sounds strange for gym)but i have suffered low cortisol last months, and it was impossible doing sports,so now im taking more b vitamins and adrenal suport suplement,to recover my energu levels.

im waiting for my ESTRADIENONE pheromone,i want to feel in myself, the kind of energy it gives…

Wha’t your body weight, TD; and what do YOU consider high doses of BCAA and flax seed oil?

Is there anyone here with a body weight of 260 plus?

I’m in the market of a good creatine?

Thanks!

P.S. It makes sense to have a good mone output after a workout … tis when the test is jacked up, depending on one’s body and test level.

Hi M&M

Well,my weight habitually is 95 kg at volume periodand 76 kg when ripped to 7% body fat.

Im 1.84 cm,so its not a very big weight, but my bones are very thin, and usually people in my same muscular level, have 7 kg more than me.

High doses of BCAA…i guess 4 gr at morning…4 gr before training, and 4 gr after weight training… sometimes 15 gr glutamine day,or a pair of protein shakes with a good aminogram perfil.

The highest doses of flax seeds oil i have taken, were 6 spoons/day,but it was in a ketogenic diet, taking protein and fat alone…

But flax seeds oil is really amazing.A great volumizer effect,so good for volume period,or definition

The higher i have gone with protein, was 5 gr protein/per kg (about 400 gr protein/diet)

i think, that period(with bcaa, and glutamine too),was my best time for growing muscle quickly.

im having problems with some pheromones, because of my low cortisol levels…it seems they suprime cortisol when taken at high doses(example,3 mg of alpha androstenol)…

for me this isnt good at this time, but, for a bodybuilder interested in growing and suprime cortisol,i guess that could be an easy and god help

Umm… umm… KG? WHy oh why does america not use the same system as everyone else

1 kg = 2.2 lbs

Only the civilized countries use the metric system…

 wtf is are system called :stuck_out_tongue: i forgot its that retarded

Street, I think we use the English System.
M&M long time no see.

I have a giant bottle of BCAA’s gathering dust on my shelf. I’ll hit it hard after my next cycle. Right now I’m using liquid thyroid chemicals among other things, so my hormones are going to be off the chart for several months.

I’m 37, 5’5" 178lbs, 16% BF (halved from last year). Aiming for less than 10% now. Not so focused on bodyweight as I am BF% and endurance. I figure the weight will fall in line as I work on my BF% and my resting heart rate and as I limit my calories. The thyroid “supplement” is just insurance that my program and diet will work despite my age.

Hehe, I haven’t done any research at all into bodybuilding/sculpting, but I still think I do well. Everyday, I go on a 2-3 mile run (not jog), go home and do ~ 150 full situps, and then do 3x40 pushups. . . and I feel great!

I’m not quite 37 , and I’m ~5’9" and ~140lbs (I’m told I look scrawny, but I swear, my muscle mass changes a lot. After a workout, I look like I’m 30% larger .)

And us crazy americans use the ‘imperial’ measuring system , it was formed in the UK, but I dunno how it became used primariily in the US. Doesn’t help much in my physics work :frowning:.

How much can y’all bench/squat?

That many situps and pushups will have a negative effect, and won’t result in bigger muscle groups.

140lbs is nothing! EAT! I have a server in my house that weights more than 140!

How will it have a negative effect? I do those numbers cause thats when I feel the burn; when microscopic tear appear in my muscles and my body adds onto it.

I know I’m light! I do eat a lot, but I usually burn it off really quick in the form of heat . I take in ~3000 calories/day.

Ha! If I took 3k cals I’d gain weight so fast. I can’t stand doing cardio either.

It’s like me saying, who has bigger legs? Endurance runner or a 100m sprinter. The sprinter (just an example).

But seriously, anything from 15reps + is counter productive.

Start doing weighted exercisers, and I can ensure you the pain feeling. I did 12x 160kg (320lbs roughly) trap shrugs, and I can feel the burn and pain now!

I do situps in the 12 range, and I easily achieved a pack. 3 Sets, and no more than once a week. That’s all that is needed, honestly. Do some research.

On a better note, 150 and 3x40 is some impressive endurance!

Who said I was trying to make myself bigger?
And I know when to limit myself, I do take days off when I feel like I need it. But if I feel fine, I go do a little something something.

And you can get a 6pack that easily? good for you! I on the other hand, had surgery in my abdominal area (belly button down) and I have a gigantic scar there, so I have to stretch it more to allow abs to form. I was in bed for like a month and almost ~60% of my muscle atrophied.

Try some vitamin E and coca butter on the scar, it could help. Vit E can help the skin become elasticy again.

I just joined the gym about 2 months ago and I’ve been getting more attention from random girls on days where I’ve worked out in the morning, and it can’t be my body.

I haven’t really seen much progress though, I do light weights but I do a lot, maybe I should be doing a less reps but heavier weights?
I haven’t felt any pain in the days after anymore, but when I’m working out it’s like I’m pushing myself to the limit.. I don’t know why it’s not working for me anymore.

That’s it! Your hooked! Your one of us!

Keep it at, as results take a while of strict training and diet. I’ve been going 9 months solid and I’m finally getting some size added with a low bodyfat. Still a good few months away from being able to compete.

I suggest reps of 15 at the very most. Go heavy if you can, because that will stimulate growth.

A great read and training program is tri phase training by derek from scivation. 49 pages, all backed by science and evidence. It’s the only one I’ve really bothered reading; I don’t regret it one bit.

What’s good, TPete! Definitely been a while.

M&M’s THOUGHTS: Vic, you have the perfect workout scheme, BUT …

  1. You need to up your weight for your exercises every 3-4 weeks 5-10 lbs depending on what body part you’re working. With time, you’ll be doing those max reps with incredible mind-blowing poundage.

  2. Something I’ve done in the last month, and I’m loving it! I cut out thinking about lifting heavy such as 90lbs 21’s.

Try this the next time you do a barbell curl and tell me what you think. You can still use the high reps, BUT curl up slow with about 20lbs and make a muscle while doing the movement, and do everything else the same way squeezing the muscle in its contracting phase.

  1. There’s something to learn in all those .com’s … filter through what you want, and skip what you do not.

I reserve all rights to be wrong.

I’m M&M, and I approve this post.

you mean like squeeze your muscle like you’re flexing it? do that while you’re lifting weights? I never thought of that, all I do is focus on lifting the weight, not flexing or anything else. I’ll try that next time. Never heard that before.
