The old Musk/Misk Ghazelle would be great but I’m guessing you don’t carry it. Everything is still there, I only used a VERY little speck from the wand, and then a TINY drop from the wand.
I really appreciate the Musk Ghazelle, but if I need to cover it I see no need to own it since that defeats the purpose, unless there is another use for it? Alone it just smells too wild for me, so if you could replace it with something amazing that’ll be great. If not, anyone else want to buy my Musk Ghazelle?

though I’ve talked shit about this stuff, I’m actually beginning to warm up to it. I’ve been wearing this stuff every day, and it smells better each time i put it on. I use just a dot from the end of the applicator, and cover it with agar musk black, bourbon vanilla, and bergamot. Smells amazing, and it covers up the fecal notes wonderfully. The warm, animalic leather comes through only slightly, and adds more masculinity to balance out the bergamot and vanilla. It diffuses very well and smells fantastic now that its getting warmer here.
Does your bergamot oil EO already come diluted in carrier oil? Or do you have to dilute it yourself each time before use? Also, if it’s already diluted does yours also smell somewhat fruity? Just curious as to what your description of your bergamot sounds like compared to mine.
the one i had before was from Aveda’s Single Note line, which are all diluted in a carrier oil. They can be used directly on the skin, but not typical for use in perfumery. Its a very dry citrus fruit, and normally I don’t like cirtrus-y smelling scents (not very masculine) but bergamot is by far my favorite. It smells like Earl Grey. I use bergamot oil as a natural deodorant, and a natural anti-depressant, and I swear by it. With Aveda’s bergamot, I’d use five or six drops and rub it under my arms and along my forearms.
I got my new bottle from Birch Hill Happenings. Prices are amazing, and they ship extremely fast. They sell pure Bergamot oil (without a carrier). Normally pure bergamot oil can be harsh on your skin (and can actually turn it green), and thats due to the chemical Bergaptene. Birch Hill Happenings actually sells a Bergamot Oil which is Bergaptene free, which is safe to use on the skin, and its the best smelling bergamot I’ve experienced. Its potent, and I only need a three drops for each underarm, spread to each forearm. Normally I’d need twice that for a bergamot with a carrier.
Good thing about this stuff is that, since its not diluted, I can use it in perfumery. I’ve already added it to my bottle of unscented p74.

I had opened it just to smell it and i got a little on my fingers just a drop not a lot but enough to that i can smell it. And it smelled alright..i tried to wash it off…and I could not..i said oh well i will see how it goes..
Anyway…i went to Barneys because i wanted to try some scents..I tried 4 different scents was not wearing anything else..i tried Nasomottos Duro, Absinth, Silver Musk, and Killian Straight to Heaven did one spray of each,
Nothing too bad…only other thing I was wearing was one drop of Alpha 7 from that morning but that was like 10 hours ago..in the morning i was wearing Creed Silver mountain water
Anyway on the way home on the train ride I noticed two different girls both covering their noses like they were smelling something really bad, and they could not wait to get away from me.
Now I thought at first maybe I had too much cologne on me, but this was a different reaction usually when I overspray most people usually cough and they make different facial reactions, this was more of of cover their nose what smells horrible..so not sure if it was the smell of Alpha7 none…or the musk ghazelle…my guess it was the musk ghazelle..because i never seen a reaction like that before
btw when i got home i put some of the sandalwood that i got last week on my finger where i got the ajmal and in the beginning the sandalwood totally took over and i smelled nothing else but sandalwood
now about 3 hours later i smell a little bit of the sandalwood but majority of the ajmal musk…i tell you this musk is strong that is for sure, it will not die..LOL
Yeah, i mixed something like 1/10 Ajmal AA MG with 9/10 Sandalwood and it really still smelled mostly of Ajmal MG. I’ve tried to give this one a fair chance, but i just don’t see wearing it anymore. It lasts FOREVER, projects, and honestly makes me a bit sick if the smell is too strong.
To be fair, one or two girls have liked the scent and complimented it, but thats only after hours of wearing and it started to fade. But mostly i got the reactions that you have, Denec, which is to say “what in the WORLD am i smelling?”
I’m not sure i want to waste anymore Sandalwood experimenting with the mix, since it would take SO MUCH sandalwood to even this out and even then, to be honest, i’m probably going to like the pure sandalwood smell better. I think i’ma chalk this up to experience and shelve the MG. Oh well…
