For a while now, I have known about the effects of certain pheromones, but my knowledge was incredibly limited. All I was aware of was the attractant sort – the ones that help us find mates. I was astounded to discover they’ve been “harvested” for commercial use, and even more so after coming upon blends like Instant Honesty… I must admit, I’ve never thought there was anything like an actual human truth serum :slight_smile: Of course, it comes from us… and that’s what’s really fascinating.

So, hello! I’m a dork. I love science and this whole pheromone thing is a new obsession (really), so I apologize ahead of time for my inevitable bombardment of questions :o
I’m female, live in New York, and am interested in quantum physics, palmistry, philosophy, language, psychology, literature… :roll_eyes:
This forum seems so nice and friendly. I can’t wait to get acquainted :slight_smile:

IH is one of my favorites and it is becomeing much more popular as people see the possibilities and gain more experience with it.

A lot of us here also find the whole idea very fascinating - even beyond the fun and practical applications we have found withthe products.

If you tell us just a little more about yourself - age, what you want to do with the products - we will be better able to help you with recommendations. actually I will leave that up to the ladies for the women’s products.

I’m glad you found us … I think with all your interests you’ll find experimenting with pheromones to be a fascinating journey. It takes good observational skills to be able to pick up on certain behavioral shifts that can occur in your targets … it’s not always blatant.

Instant Honesty is a cool one to work with … while it’s not a truth serum, it does tend to disinhibit people verbally, which can be great if you’re prepared for it!

What are some things you’d like to accomplish with pheromones? Feel free to bombard us with questions all you like!

For the purpose of attraction, women should use instant sexiness. This is great to get attention and be the center of everything.

Anything else you wanna achieve? Like get more conversations (instant openness), deeper talk (instant honesty), happier mood (instant shine).

I suggest reading through the entire women’s section from back to front to begin with. You may find some of your questions answered that way! Plus it’s a great way to spend a weekend… or two. :wink:

Ah, I didn’t put down my age on purpose… I like to maintain a certain anonymity online, after all… :o
Though I will say I’m definitely a younger woman.

What I’d like to do with pheromones is actually mostly social experimentation (honestly! I’m so hopeless :roll_eyes: ). I’d like to test it on myself and others to observe changes in speech pattern, eye contact, physical contact, clarity of communication, etc…

As for my more selfish reasons, I’ve been looking at Instant Honesty, and Essence of a Woman, the latter more out of curiosity than for intentions to… well, you know :wink: Being treated so differently is a concept difficult to imagine, especially to myself, who has had only one serious relationship and no flings. Not that I’m complaining… it’s the springtime of my youth, and I refuse to be tied down just yet! :stuck_out_tongue: (Plus, I’ve been told that I’m hard to approach because I give off the vibe that I’m not interested in relationships in general. Relative strangers often think I dislike them :frowning:)
Also, I have a clinically depressed friend, and think that introducing her to extra pheromones will alleviate some of the tension in her life.

So, yeah. As for more about myself… hmm. I’m mostly Puerto Rican, have regular features, an oval face, big eyes, am naturally thin without being lanky (120lbs. at 5’ 5"), and (I’ve been told) am usually scowling. Because of that, I tend to fend people off unintentionally. I’m very frank with people, and can come off as rude or insulting unless whomever I’m talking to knows me well, but even close friends describe me as mean-spirited. Despite this, I’ve got great diplomacy, and can usually talk my way in or out of anything tactfully. I’m mellow, laid-back, and a happy person with high aspirations, despite my cynicism and pessimism. I make a great impression with the higher-ups, though I’m sort of a scrub, and usually wear baggy, loose-fitting clothing. Most of my peers think I’m weird, but I can’t even figure myself out, so I can’t really be upset about it :smiley:

As for reading the woman’s section back to front, I’ve already begun! A mod or admin suggested it in one of the welcome threads, I believe. It’s been very informative, so far, though I’m still close to the beginning.

Just so you know ahead of time, Instant Honesty will not make you tell the truth. It causes deep intimate connection. People tend to share things they normally would keep to themselves because of the comfort the product evokes.

Well your about to embark on a fun journey. pheromones can become an interesting useful hobby.

Ah, yes, I was just over enthused :o I’ve seen the Instant Honesty likened to a truth serum several times, though I’ll try not to get my hopes too high so soon. I need to scrape up some money, first… :roll_eyes: My hobbies are never cheap, but happiness in mental engagement is always first in my book. Right after food, of course… :slight_smile:

I believe I’ll research and click around a bit more before I ask questions, that way I can do it in the woman’s forum where it’s more likely to be useful to others later (hopefully).

You’re going to love playing with the putatives, then, once you get a few experiences under your belt with the consumer line and post feedback about them! Do a search for posts by Tacitus here, I bet you’ll appreciate the observations he makes.

To compensate for that aspect of unapproachability, I recommend Instant Sexiness B (you have to order this “B” version in the notes section and normally this is an advanced product but I’m pretty convinced this will be the one for you - maybe SteveO or Jasmin will give you a special dispensation?) or TAH (always great to have) or MX135 (this comes scented with a strong chocolatini scent). Also helpful with making you more approachable would be Instant Openness. Do you wear any fragrance? A light dose of scent may also give people more of a green light to speak to you.

Instant Openness for her, too. MX138 or MX140 from the Instant Sunshine series is also great for women’s moods.

It sounds like you already get loads of respect but if you want to smooth out your persona a bit, try some MX134 anyway …

Oh no, it’s not that I get loads of respect, believe me! I’m just unapproachable. It was described as something like “you’re so comfortable and confident in being alone that it’s intimidating/off-putting (for guys) or insulting/annoying (for girls).” Many of my peers are painfully self-conscious (the skinniest of them will whine about being fat), and I don’t think it’s envy so much as a detected threat. Not that I get any attention worthy of jealousy (that I notice, at least).
I generally go perfume-free, because I’ve been told that I smell nice on my own, and I prefer the thought that someone likes the scent I naturally produce over something like synthetic vanilla. I love perfumes though, and want to horde them just to sniff them on occasion. Perfuming was another temporary obsession from late last year, but I was short on cash and couldn’t afford the costly essential oils to make my own, so I moved on to researching psychic abilities in children… :roll_eyes: I’m so fickle.

Also, thank you very much for all your suggestions! I will look further into them, including the posts by Tacitus. This is all so interesting.
