New from PA, Sorta knows what he wants.

Well, what do we put in for an introduction? To start off with, My name is Clinton, and I’m 22 (23 soon!). I only just recently moved to PA from Florida, where I had lived my entire life. I’ve been here about 8 months I’d say, and really don’t have many friends. People tend to get defensive around me, and it seems to simply be that they take my tone of voice the wrong way. Most people I interact with get defensive around me, as if I’m attacking them, and it’s rather frustrating making friends when under those conditions. A dear friend of mine recommended this site as a possible solution, and so I came to see what I could dig up that might help ease social tensions around me.

Assuming that my first goal goes smoothly, I could see myself returning to possibly spice up other aspects of my life as well. After reading about the concepts, a small nudge in my corner for people to see me as I want to appear to be, seems like exactly what I need. I’ve also been known to be a bit stiff at times too, and so something that might loosen me up on occasion would probably be a great help as well. If anyone has suggestions that could push me in the right direction, I’d most appreciate it greatly, as aside from reading about the science recently, I do not know too much about the actual effects some of the products have. It’s always nice to look before you leap into buying something, right? Anyways, I’m glad to join the community, and hope to learn a bit about everything this place has to offer.

Hello Clinton and welcome to the forum.

Well the first thing I would do is really think about how you approach your verbal conversations - both the words you use as well as the body language. You may be unintentionally creating a more aggressive tone than you intend to … Then again you may have a Clint Eastwood thing going - some people do.

But these products can certainly help also …

To help with an unaggrssive male aura - look at IG.

To help people feel happy to be around you look at IShine.

To help with general conversations look at IO.

And to help people feel connected to you look at IH.

IG and IH are two of my favorite products.

Hope these recommendations help. Let us know if you have any questions.

Hi,

Welcome to the forum,

I think you should work on your tone of voice. Get a friend to listen to your tone and some other people or children are the best judges. A slight change in tone if higher they can tell. I’m someone who can also tell growing up with loud people. Instant Shine will make you feel good and the other people around. IO will make you appear more approachable so it will make starting conversations easier.

Chris

with tone of voice I’m assuming you mean more than just the pitch… ie: the overall tone you portray.

some things to consider are eye contact, body language, and the intensity that you show in interactions…

see if you can do some research in these areas, then get out in the field. watching other people and mirroring behaviour is good!

-you don’t want the reputation of being a bully!

Welcome to Pherotalk Clinton!

I totally agree with bosshank on this one. He pretty much said everything that needs to. You can also try looking in the mirror to practice or see how it comes across when you say certain things or your usual facial expression.

Sometimes we are not that aware of the vibe we give off and that pheromones and pheromone research brings about a kind of awareness of self and others around you.

Your GC will be issued soon!
