Keep in mind that you need adjustable dumbbells and a chin-up bar to utilize p90x. I just got it myself, but i’m actually working my way up to it right now. You really need to be in somewhat good shape to get the best use out of p90x, so i’ve been working manual labor and using “the perfect push-up” to get my upper body strength up a bit. Gonna order the chinup bar here in a about 2 weeks, then by the time it gets here i’ll have been working up to it for 6 weeks and be ready. Just food for thought. But yes, it’s a hell of a workout, 1 hour a day for 12 weeks… you just need to be driven for it to work. 12 weeks is a long time to keep going for someone who typically doesn’t work out regularly (for those of us reading this thinking "hey, maybe i’ll do that…).
i have access to all the stuff i need 24/7.
friends with and have keys to my place i train mma,
the work outs kicked my butt, wasnt un-doable, but damn i felt it.
just need keep it going ! XD
the ab ripper x… haha that thing is beast
you should also look into PACE and HIIT to time your workout exertions. I’ve had success with both, but still cursed with the dunlop disease
btw, the ultimate gym is great for small houses or pre-occupied rooms.
I tried the p90x and failed miserably. Just way too out of shape to do it so I borrowed a copy of the chalean extreme workout which a lot of people use to get ready for the p90x. It is set up almost the same: 3 phases at 30 days each, guaranteed best fitness level of your life after 90 days
I am a week in and already feel great even though I am still having to cheat on some of the workouts to complete them. The screnery is certainly much better with Chalean than it was with Tony
