Well. I’ve tried the Instant Openness (2x strength) three times now with no noticeable results at all. I mean really nothing. I’ve tried one spray, two sprays, and three. I haven’t written a report yet just because I’ve been ultra busy and all my time on the computer has been spent studying… Hopefully I will do so this weekend. Has anyone else had such disappointing results with this one? I was so excited! I will probably keep trying despite the Neroli scent. I thought I’d like it, and actually I do, but it feels way too masculine and never fades on my skin! I’d LOVE it on a male.
I haven’t had time to try my MX135 or Come Talk To Me (that one was a freebie.. woo thanks!!) in public, but I will this coming weekend or week. Still optimistic!
That may be the problem here. You need to be in a social environment to test mones, especially something like IO. I’d recommend a gathering of friends at dinner or drinks, happy hour, parties, church fellowship hour, whatever… Sitting by yourself studying ain’t much of a test…
Agreed. There are some pheros that people wear simply for self-effects, but Instant Openness isn’t one of them. The trick is to get people interested in talking to you. That is hard to do if there aren’t any people around. Also, you have to spend more than a few moments in someone’s presence, usually, for the pheros to do their work. Just passing someone in the grocery store or whatever isn’t usually long enough.
Oops, I guess I wasn’t clear. I have been out and about and social. I just meant I haven’t had time to write a report because when I am at home, I’m busy studying.
I think that you should try is/o in a social environment. Next time when to go to a get together, a party, or something that involves with a lot of buddies wear a few spirtz.
Now note: sometimes is/o can make the shyest person talk a bit. However, it depends on whom you are around, so pretend you want to talk to a really timid person, you might need to initiate the conversation and take things from there. Instant openness wont magically make people walk up to you and strike up a conversation all the time. It does happen, but not as often.
I’m curious where are you applying the phero and how long before you go out?
You might try one spray to your wrists(ie spray one wrist and rub it against the other) ,one to your chest and one to your hair.
Sometimes if I’m looking for more obvious results with something I try it that way.Although interestingly so far my best diffusion point seems to be the inside of my elbow. o.O
It may be in part a diffusion problem. If you’re getting really frustrated with the instant openness try the mx135 its way more obvious in nature.
hey i was wondering would you be willing to start conversations with men? i mean i don’t know how other guys feel, but when a woman starts a conversation with me(which rarely happens)…she’s automatically on my good side, no matter how she looks like or what else is going on.
Its funny its rare for me to initiate conversations with a guy but when I do its usually related to a nice smile or more often a good smell. (take note phero boys smelling impossibly good breaks down some walls even for skittish girls)
Chances are if a guy smells so good all I want to do is follow him around and sniff I’m just gonna have to say something.
Oh and another thing. I’ve always picked my mates by smell.
Lady meow is right though. Even with the socials we do have to initiate sometimes. Especially if you’re pretty in the first place babydoll.
Some guys just go gaga and lock up. When you initiate it not only says something confident about you but it lets the guy be a bit more confident talking to you less second guessing.
My boyfriend for one has often commented on worrying a girl is going to think hes a pervert or some sleaze ball if he says hi or says something nice to her or about her.
Don’t tell him I said it but hes got little to worry about the type of compliments he comes up with are so literate that either they’re gonna go right over the girls head or have her seeing tweety birds.
I’m usually not shy with women. However when I meet someone I’m extremely attracted to I can lose control of my verbal center as blood rushes to other places. I guess that’s going gaga and locking up. It’s only temporary but having her initiate while in a quasi-retarded state is a vast relief. Oddly, that very thing happened with my last GF and ex-wife. Both were very beautiful and realized many guys are temporarily stunned by their greatness.
no seriously tho, i’m gonna go a lil politically incorrect here so if anybody finds this offensive or innappropriate, i’ll be happy to delete this post…but
i think it’s important to keep in mind the time factor for the men…
like it or not, blame it on whatever you want…men are expected to do all if not most of the work in the dating process…and as such we are playing a game of numbers and it basically ends up being a race for time.
so keep this in mind…for every minute that a man you’re not interested in spends with you…that’s one less minute he will spend with his future girlfriend/wife.
i point this out because i know a lot of women out there like to flirt and tease with men because it gives them a self esteem boost (hey we all wanna feel like we’re wanted)but ultimately this shoots everyone in the
foot: the biggest complain i hear from my female friends is that they just can’t find the right guy…well of course not because the right guy is too busy flirting with a girl who just wants to get an emotional rise from him.
ok lets take a headcount how many people have i offended this time?
but anyways…the point i’m trying to make here is that i (and my friend marty who considers herself a third wave feminist) believe that the dating world would be much better if the ladies helped out the fellas with some of the stuff. like if the ladies would start initiating conversations…that would be great, make us feel better too. and if youre not interested in a guy, please let him know POLIITELY(we have feelings too and rudeness hurts) and soon so that we can go back to searching for THE ONE
Heh , On the other end of things it would be a good thing if after a female indicates disinterest a guy would take the hint and move along.
I try to be as polite as humanly possible when turning guys down but some guys well..
I’m impossible to get to if I’m not interested and I can tell pretty quickly if I’m not.
I’m always available as a friend and if things move from there fine.
One case in point.
A male friend of mine has been “tailchasing” me for awhile frankly I like the guy but hes too focused on that aspect of things for my taste and I’ve told him so.
If he’d back off for a bit hangout watch some movies have pizza maybe play a few vid games well chances are I’d prolly relax and pounce him.
It’s all good till they hug me. One hug one hair snuff and then its like little brain turns on big brain turns off.
No offense meant guys sometimes that’s a good reaction but when its someone I actually want to develop a dialogue with its not such a good thing.
You’re right about the time wasted thing too. Sometimes though its the guy not the girl doing it. I’ve had guys contact me despite a straight up no for years. Hell I’ve even flat out told guys I’m not right for them.
yes i know these things are issues as well thank you for bringing it up. women are subtle creatures and a lot of guys are idiots when it comes to reading them…i know because i used to be one. this also has to do with social skills and attitudes towards women…i won’t go into that.
there is also a theory that the more time a man spends on a woman the more important she becomes…in other words it becomes more important for him to persist than to start over. it’s a form of anxiety…i don’t think there’s a proper phrase for it but it’s like a mutated form of separation anxiety.
on the other hand…women also play this thing called “hard to get” which i think is also responsible for guys not getting the hint..ie “does a no mean no or try harder” see what i mean.
from my personal experience and from those of my friends…it just gets overwhelming sometimes…it’s bad enough men have to carry the burden of rejection…but to play mental games with us just add’s another layer to the psychological kick in the balls.
