I noticed a definite BO undertone to this stuff, too. I’m not roadtesting it again without a cover scent.
People were a bit chatty at work, but our department secretary had just returned from a two-week trip and she and I are close, so that long conversation probably would have happened anyway? Needs more testing."

I just got some P74 in my last order and have only given it one test wearing around a target (wore it once as a self-test as well in case of adverse reactions). Will be testing further as opportunities arise.
Such a fun molecule, Rbt! Cover it, though; it has a significant BO undertone (overtone?)"

“Actually, I do smell the pheromones under the neroli in MX139, and P74 is even worse (I never wear that one without a cover) and I think that turned her off to neroli, but I could be wrong”

"I tried 1 spray of the to-go sized P74 today… and the effects were awesome! It definitely gave me that “coolness” vibe. A lot more respect from guys. Girls seemed a little intimidated to be honest, and I don’t think I seemed approachable. I was also wearing a spray ofAmmo and a spray of CTTM. But I could feel the difference from P74. It was like I had some higher social status.
P.S… P74 smells terrible for a pheromone. It smells like alcohol (the alcohol you drink), but much stronger smell. Like a strong shot of some liquor. I don’t mind the smell that much, it’s just that it’s very different from what I’m used to for pheromones."

“Hmm, I’m using unscented P74 and haven’t been able to detect a particularly bad smell from it. Of course the alcohol smells a bit strange at first, but as soon as it has dried down, there’s not much of a smell left (at least for my nose). But I’m not able to smell -none either, so I just might be smell-deaf ( ) for P74, too.”
The "MAD TATER" Journal - #446 by MadisonTate
MadisonTate (December 29, 2007):
"Deep Thought #941 . Tater has noticed several posts about the scent of Instant Female Magic, A314 and others. You guys need to composite. About the only phero that doesnt smell completely nasty is EST. The androstenols are somewhat bearable, but otherwise you’re just asking for it.
Tater admits to being more fragrance-sensitive than most, but it all REEKS. As for copulins (Dirty), I wouldve sliced my own hand off to get rid of that stuff, but androstenone, androstadienone, even androsterone are overwhelmingly funky. P74 seems worst of all. And now that its been mentioned a few times by others, yes i do pick up the scent of sour milk with A314. I never could place what the odor was, but thats pretty close…the smell of cold, bad milk.
Which leads me to the next deep thought…"
further mx103 testing, confusing results...
MadisonTate (January 5, 2008):
“And MX102 doesnt smell GREAT either. Its like Mr. T’s jock strap. And P74 would be like Mr. T’s thong underwear…”
Some early posts I found from MHarris himself in which he describes P74 as having ‘a human musk scent’…

“I don’t have the est, but I have the promised form of methoxy ( methoxyestratetraenone ), and another putative. The putative, in particular, has that human musk scent that is typical of most real human pheromones, so I have high hopes for it…”

MHarris (November 27, 2005):
"If it was a test pheromone, I’d have some idea, and just wouldn’t tell you. But this is a phase 1 putative, so I truly have no ideawhatsoever.
The fact that is smells human, though, is encouraging. I don’t have anything that smells human in my repertoire that doesn’t modify or effect behavior in some way.
The caveat when looking for legitimate putatives is that there are several legitimate pheromones which definitely don’t smell human. Not to my nose, anyway, so I can’t always follow it - you still gotta test, test, test. Then test some more.
In fact, one of the most powerful pheromones I’ve ever worked with doesn’t smell human one bit. If it wasn’t for the insistence on testing, I would’ve passed by it."

"We’ve had [the putative] available for quite awhile.
We’ll release it under the Putative Pheromone (PP) nomenclature. I’ll give the word to the web person now."
