I usually prefer to wait until I have some definite conclusions on a pheromone before posting about it. So I apologize for muddying the waters, but let me get these thoughts down before I forget. I have tried P85 several times now and I am not sure what it is doing. The first couple of times I wore it (about 25mcg), I noticed very little. Perhaps there was a mild euphoric effect. I am not sure that “euphoric” is the best word. It was very suble, kind of like drinking half a beer – more annoying than enjoyable.
Tacitus called P85 “talk show host”. He seemed to think P84 and P85 were similar. I believe he confused them in his mind as sometimes he would describe P84 in exactly the same words he had used previously for P85. I do not experience the two as particularly similar. It was Tacitus who first compared P84 to caffeine. *(P84 thread: first use report, since so little has been written about it). P84 has an energizing effect which I do not get from P85. I have not found that P85 makes me more talkative – quite the contrary.
I wore about 75mcg of P85 to a dinner meeting over the week end. I was hoping to get the trustworthy old friends, comfort building effect that Steve described, the trustworthy adult vibe of m3turbo or the “people coming out of their shell more” described by Visonary. I also wore A314, IH and IO as would be typical for me. Wine was served. I did not notice anything positive from the P85. One acquaintance noted that I was being unusually quiet. My horoscope said it was a bad day for socializing – maybe that’s all there is to it! I pretty much kept to myself. I felt very A.D.D. and had trouble following the proceedings. The food tasted mighty good. I got along fine with the people I did talk to, but nothing exceptional happened in the way of conversation.
On a separate occasion, I tried adding P85 (45mcg) to my Sensuality Mix 2.1. The P85 seemed to add an almost psychedelic effect with awareness drawn to the interaction of light and shadow, sometimes seeming to vibrate in an almost strobe light effect. It was amusing in a trippy way, but distracting from sensuality.
