VL1

I’ve ordered DPG 16oz from a perfumer. I’ve also been reading up on how to mix perfume oils. I’m going to make VL1 in a 30 ml sprayer and scent it myself.

Did I mention how much I hate mixing and measuring?

I also ordered pipettes. VL1 is cheap to make but OMG the postage on my $20 perfumer order was $12.50.

In any case I don’t have to use my cologne as a base for VL1 anymore.

I have been wearing VL1 now for a few months and I can’t find too many faults with it. It is really A1’s good twin brother. VL1 is so much like A1.

The fault with VL1 which I don’t really like is that it is not a smack in the face putative. It’s not like enone or rone. It ramps up. I wish I knew what to do to resolve this. I’m still thinking that maybe a purer form of VL1 may resolve this. I’ve tried increasing the dose but that does not help. Lowering the dose does not seem to help.

I am returning to my circular thought about this. Is it the way this putative is? No, it can’t be. Does any other putative ramp up? Maybe it’s converting on the skin and the substance that it’s converting to is doing all of this “lovey dovey” attracting? Could it be dosing? Am I wearing too much? I did go down in dose and didn’t get a good reaction. No, I’m pretty sure I’m at my sweet spot.

VL1 goes so well with enone. I should do some more tests with enone.

Well, you know, I wish there were some grounds for optimism as to serious research. The culture is gone. Just gone from here, and I think not coming back. I’m going to try to stick around until maybe January. No journaling though. Not publicly. We just don’t have a group of people here anymore that want to do testing work. The board is not atracting the proper attitudes.

How can I say this without seeming rude? It’s just boring. Very juvenile information. Very stale. It’s good you’re trying here. I’m out of ideas. Nothing more I can really do without higher authority. I’ve just lost much of my energy for it over this past year or so.

As far as research goes you can do what users like Tacitus did and try everything yourself and report. I myself only trust a handful of posters for accurate molecule reporting so I’m satisfied with reading their reports. I still like to try everything. I am limited by my finances. The more molecules that I test the better I become.

Taking your ball and going home? Pouting? Do like I do. I take my frustrations out in my journal. Read it. You’ll see. In fact I recently won a TOTW for one of my rants.

Bad information? Do it yourself. Buy something that has not been tested alot and test it for yourself. Report on it. Be the change you are looking for. Set the example.

I’m not only trying, I’m doing. I discovered VL1! And…I have at least 4 other putatives that i suspect have pheromonal properties. I just needed some DPG and it should be coming soon. I’m not a chemist or a vendor. I’m just a regular guy who tried and ended up discovering a great putative.

Sorry to hear that. have you tried bacon? I’m half kidding here. I’ve thought of testing bacon as a putative (Scientists find only a few simple odours make up complex food smells | Mail Online).

Yeah, Androtics can be hard to move. Communication is slow and then it is often mysterious. Jasmine was the best communicator at Androtics. My simple question “When will you be releasing A314 Rev 33?” is met with silence.

Just kidding. I’m sure Androtics would get anything from St. Louis or Rhode Island if I really asked in earnest. I never have. I alread have more molecules than time. I’m a slow poke. What can I say?

VL1

Many a true word is spoken in jest

To tell you the truth I’m not sure about what to do with VL1. I’ve thought about getting it patented like Erox’s ER303 but it looks like an expensive hassle. Also, once you get it patented you have to enforce the patent. Since there is no transparency in the pheromone world that would mean testing/analyzing vendor products for the presence of VL1. That may lead to patent infringement lawsuits. Costly and time consuming.

Of course VL1 may be a hit in the pheromone world. It may be a big hit in the consumer world.

Now that I’m getting DPG I might prepare some samples. I’m skiddish about letting this one loose in the world. As you have read it’s not in your face like enone but I’m impressed with how it works. I’m pretty sure I’m right and it is a putative…a true A1 clone without the side effects.

More dosing observations

I got my DPG yesterday and a few essential oils and some pipettes but ooops…now I need more 5ml sprayers.

I happen to think that many substances are putatives. In my opinion it’s just a matter of dosing. In fact, according to my studies of Tacitus’ writings, megadosing is a good way to sus out the properties of pheromone molecules.

I guess it’s similar to turning up the volume when listening to music.

A few of the substances that I have tested have not yielded great results but I believe that it may be a dosing issue. Too high of a dose and you get noise. Too low a dose and it cant be heard. Finding the sweet spot is key.

Vl1+ npa

VL1+ NPA

I was going to meet this girl yesterday so I decided to try VL1 + NPA. I’ve tried this combo with good results. For this test I added more VL1 and had on less NPA.

I had on 3 sprays of VL1 + 1 dab of NPA + 5 sprays of cologne (cover).

I got crazy sillage with this. I usually don’t wear more than 2 sprays of cologne. I hate being “cologne guy” so I usually don’t wear that much cologne.

So the first woman I run in to is older and married She says “Mmmmm” while sniffing the air. “What is that you are wearing?. It smells so good. I want to buy some for my husband!” She says she wants her husband to wear more cologne. I tell her the name of my cologne and after some small talk she leaves.

The next woman I run in to is also an older married woman. We are talking and almost out of the blue she brings up the fact that she is happy with the man that she recently met. Her eyes were as big as saucers though. I immediately took note that I was 2 for 2 with this line of conversation.

The 3rd woman was younger. We talked about nothing really, work, school and that kind of stuff. About 15 mins into the conversation she mentions that she has a boyfriend.

I am not sure whether to be happy or sad about this coincidence. In the PUA world the mention of a boyfriend is usually a sign of non interest but I asked one of my fellow PUA’s about this and he gave me the maybe, maybe not answer.

Sometimes it is a sign of disinterest and sometimes it is a heads up when a woman mentions a husband or a boyfriend. It can be a sort of “Lets get this out of the way now” kind of statement.

One of my long term girlfriends told me she had a boyfriend when I met her. As a young PUA that was just an opening for me to launch boyfriend destroyer sets.

Since then I’ve learned about Karma so I just leave married women and those with boyfriends alone.

But back to the combo. I’m still not sure whether this means interest or not. Now that I’m writing about it, I know that enone alone does not garner this type of response. Neither does VL1 solo. It must be the NPA+VL1 combo. The increase in cover probably helped the sillage and overall effect.

I need to revisit this combo…

MX297

A poster recently asked me if I thought TAH,TAL and TAF were in MX297. To tell you the absolute truth I don’t know what is in MX297. I’m guessing that only a few employees of Androtics knows the formula for MX297.

From my experience MX297 is a very, very feminine mix. It will turn you into the head cheerleader. MX297 is a great social, since you can talk and be friendly with any girl but I believe it signals that you are a girl.

I’m almost tired about talking about EST and EST derivatives in mens mixes. “Just a little bit” of TAH,TAL, EST and EST derivatives is way too much.

I am not an expert or a chemist or a vendor but as far as I’m concerned when men smell the least bit like a woman, it is a total turnoff for women.

Some pheromone products contain a little bit of Copulins which some Vendors believe is ok to use. I happen to believe the opposite. A man should smell totally like a man. Men do not produce estrogen. If some estrogen does make it out of the male body in the form of natural pheromones it would probably be in the Pico or Tico range.

However, MX297 has uses for men such as setting you up with social proof. With MX297, you can hang out with the girls and have a good time…because with MX297 on you are a girl. I have 2 bottles in my collection.

So to answer your question I don’t know what is in MX297.

Re MX297, interesting comments/effects, but I get much different results. It does have a fun, social, side to it, but in a studly rockstar kind of way. By that, when I wear it, I get a lot of attention from both men and women, but in a kind of respect, lets party kind of vibe.
Dont get me wrong. Im not calling you out on it or anything, as people many times get different results from the same phero. But I definitely dont get a Fem vibe off of it at all. Its not super masculine, but it can be steered that way with some Tuth or IJ or something else of that ilk.

I always try and put some on when going to parties. Fun stuff. Just my 2 cents man…

I have tested MX297 extensively. In 4 years I have seen 1 MX297 lay report…and that was from a user who posts on another pheromone board.

MX297 turns you into one of the girls. That studly signature is a feminine signature. You are the life of the party because you are a girl while wearing MX297. Yes, girls do have fun together and dance together. Post up when you have gotten laid wearing any amount of MX297 solo or with any amount of TUTH or Instant Jerk.

You may believe differently and you are entitled to your opinion.

I’m not saying you are wrong but people used to believe the world was flat.

I knew I had written about “success” with MX297 somewhere in my journal so I took a look back at some of my ramblings. I didnt have to go back too far: CelticPrince's Aeriform Subterfuge - #139 by CelticPrince

As you can see, it wasnt solo MX297, it was augmented with tuth, p83 . I dont think I have ever flown MX297 solo, but you got me thinking. Maybe I will test it out solo in the next few days. I have a business trip to Texas next week, so that will be a good place to test it out on strangers.

I have found it to work well on women when mixed with -none. Maybe you are right, it gets them talking, comfortable like they are with their girlfriends, but I like that because it is congruent with my “game” if you want to call it that. Im not in it for the one night stands. I actually have to have an intellectual connection with a woman before I sleep with them. No bimbo’s please. Too awkward in the morning when all she wants to talk about is the Kardashians…haha.

VL1 formula change is bad

I decided to change the formula for VL1 and add an essential oil for fragrance. Bad move.

I started using VL1 with 1.0 ML of VL1 with 4.0 ml of cologne which worked ok. Then I went to 1.0 ML of VL1 with 4.0 ml of DPG with 6% Neroli. The Neroli scented DPG solution worked even better.

This week I tried to mix some essential oil myself into plain DPG and I got an interesting result. The women that I talked to all mentioned that they had a BF or husband in the first 10 mins of talking to them. I am not fond of this result.

I don’t know if this is an honesty type of thing or a go away statement or what. My instinct tells me it stems from a lack of interest. Thinking as a PUA it is a sign of no interest because the longer she waits to tell you she is married or has a BF the better. It means she is evaluating you or considering you.

I’ve run out of 5ML bottles so I’m going to dump this mix and try to go back to the 1.0 ML of VL1 with 4.0 ml of cologne and see what happens.

I didn’t see DPG at the Androtics store so I was trying to scent plain DPG myself. I probably got the ratios wrong. Did I mention that I hate mixing and math?

Yes, thats a good store. Very fast delivery, and good customer service. I believe that is where I get my disposable pipettes as well. Way too handy if you are doing your own mixes. Dont have to stop and clean your eye droppers.

I know what you mean about the math. I tried to forget as much of my algebra/calculus as possible after my last finals in college. Haven’t really used either since! Haha. I think calculus is just used to weed people out of engineering school. I know several engineers that have never used it since they graduated. Ever.

I have Nbully’s calculator but yes any math help would help. It makes my head spin to think about how many ML’s of essential oil, DPG and alcohol you need to add to make a 20% solution in a 1 liter bottle.

For some reason I get a mental block with volume calculations.

I really just want to buy a good working pheromone product. Androtics produces great consumer line products but not what I (actually me and 98% of the people here) want. So, I have to make my own. Also because of the lack of transparency in the pheromone business I have to start almost from scratch. There is sketchy information about some molecules in some of the other forums. Pheromone vendors are deathly afraid that another vendor will steal their formula and make oodles of money from it.

I am not a scientist or a perfumer so all of this is brand spanking new to me.

I may even call the Androtics store and ask them to sell me some DPG.

Speaking of Nbully I wonder where Catlord has gone. I wonder if he invented a good working version of his Panty Scorcher mix (MX331-MX334) and is enjoying the fruits of his labor. Maybe he got married and quit using pheromones. Maybe he just took on another username and continues to post.

VL1

VL1 is a hit with me. I have 5 other possible putatives waiting to be tested. I’m not sure what to do with VL1. It’s definitely a putative and it definitely works. I have publicly logged my tests with VL1 from beginning to end here on the forum. Maybe I can interest a vendor in purchasing exclusive rights to use it. Maybe I should just use it, and continue to enjoy it.

Ratios

Well… I’ve been doing some reading and Googling and I found a good ratio for my experiments, a ratio of 33% perfume oil to 66% alcohol. A commercial perfume spray is 20% perfume oil. Colognes are 10% or less, and a splash or after shave has only 3% perfume oil.

I have the DPG now but only some vodka. I would need Perfumers alcohol or Artisan alcohol. I can use Everclear vodka (190 proof), Devils Spirit vodka (160 proof) or Wray and Nephews rum (151 proof).

The answer is that the sugar and amino acids in bacon mix in what is called the Maillard Reaction, which produces about 150 aroma compounds that provide the unique smell.

So what does this have to do with pheromones?

I believe that the perfect pheromone combination consists of more than the basic 5 or 6 Nols & None’s that we use. I believe that the body…similar to cooking bacon produces 40+ pheromones and putatives that signal potential partners.

Mixing

I thought that researching new putatives would be easy but it’s turning out to be harder than I thought. With no backer, I have to buy, dissolve and mix all of the materials and test them at various dosages. Did I mention that I hate mixing and measuring?
