Malta is the oddest little country… they are the most devout catholic population on earth and they speak a language close to ancient arabic… also have the first temples known to man, Hajar Qim, etc… something like 1500 years before the first pyramid ? They have this custom… they go over to their sister island Gozo for vacations where they have second homes… and the Gozitans take the ferry in the other direction to go shopping… there is an almost uninhabited third island in the middle owned by a single family (I think) and these two brothers who own the island drive around in land rovers, so you have one island, a bunch of animals, and two guys and they somehow crash into each other one day… it was the one traffic accident in ages… something very maltese about that…
