Great report! Doesn’t sound like too bad of an evening. I should really play around more with Spaceland. I’m taking a relative to a ‘Faery Festival’ (yes, actual fairies not the SF variety) today, if anyone would appreciate the smell of Spaceland it’d be the new age types that hang out at places like that.
3 sprays and it took the back burner? Wow. That is like, 150 mu of A-nol. If A-nol was flammable, getting to close to punk girl smoker would have caused the neighborhood to go up in flames! To be fair though I only saw results with 2+ sprays as well.
i thought about this last night after posting it and i guess “back burner” is slightly misleading; it’s more like “supporting role.” or maybe i was just so lost in tweaking the mx115 that i didn’t notice the effects of 150 mcg a-nol. or maybe 150 mcg a-nol caused me to loosen up a bit (or a lot) and thus i had more fun tweaking the mx115 and messing around with the punk girl.
you catch my drift.
i can see spaceland being useful in introducing mixes to people i don’t know or handy to have in my pocket in case a study / lab group hits a rough spot with work or brainstorming.

off day for pheros. i move to my new place saturday so i’m lining up lunch and dinner hang outs for this week, hopefully i can get some testing done then.
finally caught one today at the gym with my gym mix. small nibble, but i’m working my way up to the big fish.
i went at an earlier time than usual. completely dead. big mistake. however, i had things to do today so i figured i would get my gym stuff out of the way. hour long set today, no looks and nobody to look at for the first 45 minutes.
in the last 15 minutes, this woman (low/mid 30’s, brunette, hbtightgymclothes) came over to where i was with her daughter (niece? little sister? someone she is babysitting?) and started doing some exercises. i shared a few glances with the mom/aunt/whoever. she was using the aerobics equipment which is next to the weight rack i was using.
then it hit her. 3s of my gym mix, all up in her face. the aerobics area is full of mirrors so i saw her looking around frantically, trying to find somebody on which to cast her feelings. she met my eyes and i smiled, then she smiled and looked away. from that point on, every time i looked up, she was looking at me, either directly or through the mirror. she switched her position from being side by side with the girl to showing off the goods in my direction, whether it was her butt on squats or her boobs on anything else.
on a regular day i’d be ok with this, but since this was a slow day, i wanted to kick it up a notch. i added in one more exercise that required very light weights. you can’t find light weights on the weight rack, so where did i go? the aerobics area, of course. she was busy doing some new style of pushup. i overheard a trainer run over to her and say something about hurting herself, and then showing her the correct form. she seemed to struggle with it. she saw me approach and stopped what she was doing to rest in a doggy pose, shoulder blades pinched to accentuate her already very present cleavage. as i neared, she rose to her knees and sat back on her heels. i locked eyes with her through the mirror, and she smiled. when i got close (still looking at her in the mirror) i said “oh, you’re doing great.” she was at a loss for words and mumbled something and a thank you.
there is a counter/ledge/small wall separating the aerobics area from the weights area. i took the long way around to get the weight. on the way back, i decided to take the long way again, which meant i could walk past her again. slight oddity here. the ledge is in line with the wall of mirrors. when approaching her, i walked past her and around the ledge. coming back, it was a blind shot around the ledge, so she couldn’t see me coming. as soon as she did, she quickly (and very blatantly) stopped her exercise (something with weight bands) to rest with her hands on her hips. she also took a step back, as if she was taking a breather. i know she stopped her exercise because she saw me coming, she might’ve actually been taking a breather too. anyway, this created a very narrow gap for me to pass. there’s the ledge on one side, the wall on the other, the little girl doing her thing in part of the space (not gonna walk through her set) and then some of the remaining space taken up by the woman’s step backwards. (off topic: who designed this area? yikes) i called her bet and aimed right for her. nice little squeeze between her and the ledge. i would say about a foot away from her. what’s a standard keyboard, like 1.5 feet long? very close for gym distances. she enjoyed my pass and as i get back to my area, there she is looking at me in the mirror again.
i called it a day after this. i would’ve felt weird chatting her up in front of the little girl. not that the girl’s age was an issue, but the woman’s foremost consideration was the girl and i didn’t want to interrupt anything. again, a small nibble, but at least i know the bait works.
if i were fedex right now, i think it would be really cool if i knocked on jayarea’s door and left him a little gift.

yeah, i had a goof-up with putting p78 in with my order, even after reading that amy was going to be gone (i’m a dummy sometimes). my order should’ve gone out with yours, but it was held until that night to resolve the p78 issue and went out the next day. no biggie. i had hoped to get it today since it’s ladies night at many of the bars around me, but my bigger/biggest issue is that i change addresses starting friday evening, so as long as i get it before then i’ll be ok.
i’m also glad it left memphis ok. heard there was some bad weather, plus an announcement was on the fedex site too.
i havent got mine either yet

When did you guys order? I ordered the 29th and it still hasn’t shipped.
Was the test pack the onlything you ordered? If something was custom it is going to take longer.
I placed an order yesterday only to be emailed this morning telling me it would be delayed because I’d ordered customised products… except that I didn’t - it was MX252, 301, 302 and Jerk - and they were all in stock at the time…
from how i read amy’s post, i believe any mx/p/t is considered custom for these current shipping purposes.

moved in and met my new roommate today. he had a buddy showing him around so i went out with him. i heard word of some girls coming, plus it was my first time out with him, so i didn’t want to take any chances.

roommate: good status hits and very receptive to being friendly. there wasn’t that awkward silence of “well… guess i’m gonna be living with you, huh?”. talkative all night.
buddy: fun, guess he caught some of my spaceland.
buddy’s gf: taken aback by the mx292. also, she didn’t know me or my roommate, and since we showed up together and basically rocked the same sig, she probably was intimidated by us for a while.
girls we met: didn’t get close enough for the mix to work. the one girl who was closest to me wasn’t really paying attention to anything.
started using dial magnetic today… hahahahaha…
i only packed travel size stuff to save space during the move, had to get some new stuff anyway. figured i could clean myself and test pheros at the same time.
one hour today at the doctor’s office, nothing. we’ll see what else happens.
