Alright, we all know they everyone has their own unique pheromone signature. What I am speculating about is how absolute that unique signature is. I would assume that there would be fluctuations in the signature based on several variables, such as fitness, food intake, hydration, etc.
We also know that pheromones are dependent on environment and personality, and therefore in general do not work universally the same way. (IE, one would not find the same hit in a bar as at a funeral). However, even in the same general environment we sometimes notice that reactions are not prevalent for targets even for the same mixes day to day. This can be partly attributed to the different personalities and social statuses of each target.
I guess that I am going the long-winded route of postulating that maybe the variance in some days that you find amazing hits and some you don’t is not only the difference in targets, but that your own pheromone signature has changed slightly. Just for example: While yesterday you may have ODed off of 7.5mcg of 'none, today you might OD off of 5mcg, or even not OD till 10mcg, being contributed to the slight differences in either diet or exercise that have occurred in recent times.
While the change in signature still may be very small, it would still have an effect (and in some cases potent effects) on the mixes that you use. I was wondering if anyone else had any insights on this. I haven’t had enough experience to give anything close to a shed of light on this topic, but I was daydreaming about pheromones and hypothesized that this may be one way to explain mild day-to-day variances in mixes besides that of just the target.
Yes, our own phero signatures fluctuate on a day to day basis. One of the most discussed molecule that depends on your day to day fluctuations is -none.
I think taking supplements like maca could affect your signature too…
perhaps even shouting in frustration or more likely anger could raise none levels too..
but all this is just speculation at this point…
I have been thinking on this after reading that military post in the mens section. My personal therory is that the pheromones of others effect your own pheromone production.
Think about the mass hysteria effect. One person becomes frightened and emits pheromones, everyone in the room becomes afraid as well. Prehaps pheromones play a roll in this mass effect.
Same thing with orgies (from what I hear ) LOL People who attend and never would think of joining into something like that suddenly are overwhelmed and do. Again could the heavy sexual pheromones being emitted from all these people be effecting the pheromone production in others causing a mass effect ??
Inertia … people familiar with your relatively static sig probably won’t be influenced differently at all by minor fluctuations.
Momentum … people who have a heightened sense of your sig changing will probably be very keenly attuned to even minor changes in your sig.
Accident … people who’ve never met you or who’ve forgotten you / your sig will just respond to you just as you are at the moment IF THEY RESPOND (canaries) but they may also suppress or otherwise attempt to conceal their responses.
But, considering that it is a naturally produced chemical, I think it’s safe to say that there will be minor variations on a day to day basis. The same with your serotonin levels, dopamine levels, etc…Not to mention that the daily showers that have become integrated into our daily lives play a role in our personal pheromone signature fluctuations.
