You need to learn the difference between the rhetorical “you” and the personal “you.” Steve, in the original remark about professional massage therapists, was using the rhetorical “you,” and the comment was not directed at you personally - unless you happen to be a professional MT.
You will also note, ET, that I have gone from agreeing with you to siding against you. This is entirely because of your behavior. If I were an admin on this board (as I am on other boards) I would have given you a temporary ban for trolling to let your temper cool off. I do strongly suggest you give it a rest.
So what your telling us is you want us to recommend mones to test out with massage oils so he can mix them together for whatever his intended purpose is. The descriptions and reports are all over the forum. If he wanted to, he could have started there. I am simply implying that there are already reputable companies out there, Like SteveO’s where he wouldn’t need to mess around and waste money and product where he can already get what he needs when it is already out there.
Maybe if you read the posts a little bit more carefully, you would have realized that.
That should help you out for next time champ, one word at a time.
I did try to help you out and steer you in the right direction, and tell you the complexities of what you were asking to do. It’s hard to spend all that money for things not to work out the way you wanted to. I never said that your concept was a bad one, I just said that mixing it with these products isn’t the best idea for you to because they have their carrier and fixative already in place. People like Steve, and other people out there who have their own product line spent years in creating formulas and even longer testing out molecules that they can viably use for their products.
It’s hard to further this science because mixing the two together would be so complex that there are easier and more cost effective ways of doing it. Not trying to shut down your ingenuity at all, just trying to pass off the information I’ve learned during my time here.
Oh dear lord…you know you’re supposed to apply ADs products externally not snort them. If I’m honest I can’t full understand what you’ve written there but from what I can decipher you have yet again managed to miss the point my post was making (have you been taking lessons from JS?).
SteveO’s company and his products are without a doubt great, you only have to look at the guys work ethic to know he’s put in a ton of work towards his product.
But that’s not the point Mr. Consumer Zombie (try and keep up), AD don’t allow alot of products (or ideas it would seem) to be mentioned. Which is fine, their forum, their rules. Simply say please don’t discuss here etc. Instead we have fanboyism saying don’t bother trying to innovate just do like me and let someone else dictate what it is you want!
You’re the perfect consumer, you’re hooked and you let everyone else do your thinking for you… I actually wrote about this in the other thread but my post never made it, I did however recommend at the end of that post that AD reward your blind faith in them with some gifts, if only that post made it…we could have been the bestestestestest friends ever
Hahahahaha going from past experience, I’m just going to go right ahead and assume irony is beyond your mental abilities and I’m not going to bother to address this point
At the risk of wearing a lot of cream, jam, frosting and powder sugar in this “bun fight”; I have to say that your bringing up the massage oil and all the rest of this “discussion” - nowhere did you say you weren’t a massage therapist. You do say what you got out of; but not what you do.
I personally thought that "The reason that is insulting is because nowhere in any of the prior posts was anything discussed about professional use, not in my initial thread that outlined my intents here, nor in any that followed, was exactly what you were looking to do.
You, sir, seem to have forgotten, that unless you specify your intent - the rest of us are left wondering with raised eyebrows “what, who and why is he so adamant about this?”
So, don’t jump on or harangue Steve! I went to exactly the same place because you left out vital details. Steve has shown great compassion, and genuine concern for the “family” here. He goes above and beyond. For all of us. You do yourself no favors with your current attitude. You asked a question, you got an answer you didn’t like. Deal with it.
All you were told was that AD would have no interest in your results and that you would probably have to buy the P’s and Experimones at the retail price. With supply being iffy right now, and all the other factors involved; you are coming across as having a tantrum because someone told you no-one is interested in playing your game right now.
You seem to forget that on a forum, we can’t divine your intention or read your body language. We obviously don’t process the language the same way - as evinced by this thread. Don’t go sniping at people because you weren’t clear. Don’t insult people because you don’t have the full story.
You’ve been here for all of 5 minutes - get a decent concept of what’s been going on; who’s got their own agendas and why something so whizzy to you, hasn’t been thought of yet. And the reasons that it may not be up for consideration. As a engineer, you know that not every “great” idea is developed. Some just don’t fit the mission statement of the company.
Actually what it all comes down to is taking my words out of context. Perhaps the smileys I used somehow skewed anyone who took offense perception. I was making a general statement that a massage oil with mones wouldn’t be a attraction formula. You’d be better off with Ammo or another product. If you are in your bedroom and giving an erotic body massage, well then, the attraction has already occurred, you moved past comfort and are into pre-sex.
I further the point, again in general which is why my post was not a reply to anyone in particular, that on a pro level using a pheromone infused massage oil is bad business and IMHO unethical. How the person who took offense misconstrued my words to be about them is quite egotistical!
When I read the thread after John mentioned it had my store link in it, I waited till I was off yesterday of work and thought I’d offer some advice about massage oils. After all that’s what the thread was about. Seeking advice and so when I told of the steps I went through to create it, to give the person asking some reference points. Organic oils, and essentials because your skin is important. How much effort I put into something that I am very proud of. So if that is being unethical I’ll take that anyday over the OP’s skewed and distorted view of the world.
Furthermore John Sebastian and I even talked about the post and I was the one who volunteered to remove it. In fact John never had an issue at all with it being listed at all. I’ve had several conversations with Jasmin about my progress with it as far back as 2 years ago when I was just beginning. Its a hobby of mine and if anyone saw that site before it was a store they would know there was a blog on it with my progress. Step by step I detailed my journey into something that piqued my interest. The homepage that was listed under my user account was directed to that blog that now redirects to my store. Under that same “visit my homepage” link I’ve had my personal blog, my pheromone blog, my facebook, twitter and I am certain more to come. It’s been so long that I had that in there I even forgot it was there. Am I apologizing for this? NO! Just wanted to present the facts and shut down the hate mongering that some thrive on.
The point I’m making is when does it become unethical to want to get ahead in life? When does a persons dreams and aspirations become something so distorted and hateful, filled with aggression and anger? In my experience only when someone else, whose view is distorted with self-loathing and fear, takes it there. I find the good in people and we can see from the posts in this thread some people see evil and bad in all. I feel very sorry for those types of people and send them prayers that one day they can find peace and love in their lives. It is my belief they need faith and hope and should seek to find within themselves, or externally, some type of happiness and good that helps lift themselves and in doing so others.
With that said I removed the link because I didn’t want it here. In my view this is not the right venue for the product I created. AD offers products that in Jasmin’s words: “social lube.” Massage oil is vastly different to that and I do not want what I offer to be confused with that mantra. My stuff lubes, but nothing to do with social . There are plenty of other venues to promote and advertise my products. I basically have been giving it away since its creation because it brings me joy to make people happy. On that same note I’ve had tons of people who have gotten samples of it and all my friends and family ask for more. Its not cheap stuff so I made it available as a product.
Unethical or passionate about my baby? Take it as however you want. It is what it is.
Hi, this note is a reminder about the female body and the possible side effects a woman may have with pheremone spiked massage oils. Just keep in mind that if the encounter leads to sex, the oils may get into the vagina, which may absorb the pheremones because there is no barrier of skin to prevent it. Considering the possible side effects that may be caused, you are crossing a line between pheremones that are inhaled and the potential of pheremones which may be absorbed unless both the woman and man are aware and prevent it, even when they become excited. You also need to keep in mind that you can cause infection from bacteria unless you are careful, and the additives and scents may be too harsh. From a women’s perspective, I would suggest that if you are going to experiment let your partner know and be careful about both preventing infection and protecting the vajayjay! As a general rule, if you wouldn’t put a chemical or additive in your own mouth, don’t put it in a vagina, and let the women give consent before exposing her to pheremones that may cause issues if absorbed through mucus membranes, OK guys? Be a real problem if all of a sudden she starts to feel sick or it burns or,you get the picture. With that said, and with a consenting partner, sounds like great fun, but the potential ethical and medical issues need to be addressed. :)Carol
