I’m planning to go interstate in a few weeks, hopefully by then i’d received the products. My question is this, what are the legality of taking it through airports carry-on bags? With the extra security, terrorism etc etc, no liquids allowed etc, and seeing that these products are in small bottles, they might not understand what ‘pheromones’ are,.. By the way, i don’t travel very much only once a year would be the most, and regarding these issues, only what my friends has told me.
So, when i do take it with me, what should i say it is? or rather should i just say it’s cologne..
Every country would have different laws regarding security, I’m in Australia so if anyone here has taken it through interstate let me know in details.
The reason i’m asking this question is because a few bottles of cologne i took with me through the gates was confiscated before i even boarded the plane, and these weren’t “CANS”.
Thanks in advance if anyone can fill in these details for me, or reassure me it’s absolutely OK to take it through no hassles…

It is fine to carry pheromones through US Airports. They are just another liquid (3 oz max, in a 1 quart plastic bag) or in your check in. Never had a problem.
You might want to consider sending your cosmetics and pheromones via
Federal Express to your destination rather than dealing with that whole airport scene.
Hey I was gonna fly this weekend & I’ve been thinking about this too. You can always just put it in any bag you check. I’ve bought knives before so I’ve always put those in the checked bag. I might do that for this flight because I don’t use ziplock bags.
Plus, dude, you can put em in your pockets. The whole no liquids thing is the most retarded rule & a distraction from the real problems. Ahem, anyway I’ve had small liquids & gels stored in my pockets before & walked on through the metal detector unscathed. That shows you it’s bs because if liquids were really a “threat” they’d take bigger measures to make sure you didn’t bring some with you. Anyway…
If you put it in your checked luggage, you should be fine. I would be concerned about the bottle sizes being too big if you wanted to bring them through the security gate. I’d recommend sticking only with TOGOs for that purpose.
Yeah, I mean it’s not like someone’s ever going to try putting ammonia in one bottle and bleach in another to mix up a knockout gas in the plane… Oh wait.
1 relative and 1 close friend, both working for TSA each tell me that as inconvenient as the rule is, it’s necessary, especially after some of the things they’ve found. It only makes the news after the plane blows up. You seldom hear about what has been found beforehand.
I put everything in To Go bottles and put it in my checked baggage.
Here is what else I do:
Make sure the lids are tight. Check and recheck.
I have gotten some clear labels and print up what is in them. Looks a little more professional if they search your checked luggage which has happened to me.
Put them in a clear plastic bag in case of a leak.
Beware of leaks. The alcohol WILL erase a lot of inks if that happens.
Mone up good before you get on the plane. They may have to alst you a while.
I travelled interstate recently in Aus (went to the Foo Fighters in Sydney). While I wasn’t carrying any pheromones, I did have shower gel, aftershave gel and a small roll-on deoderant in my carry on luggage and had no trouble at all. I know that flying internationaly you cant take anything over 200mL and it needs to be put in a plastic zip lock bag but there aren’t any guidelines like this for domestic flying in Aus as of yet. It might be worth sending an e-mail to who every you are flying with and just asking. Hope this helped

the problem is, shower gels, shampoos, toothpaste, etc etc in clear bags most people would have no problem knowing what it is… But with “Pheromones” in tiny bottles, it might be fair to say they have not clue what is it, and so becomes suspicious..
Anyways, i think i might just take 1-2 bottles, perhaps Instant Openness and Instant Honesty and see how it goes. =)
