Off on a quick trip soon and and I’d like to pack Ammo, TUTH to help with the foreign ladies…
But quick question - has anyone had an experience getting these through customs/security? In the UK they are anally retentive about bottles/liquids, so I was going to put them in hold luggage.
Putting them in small unmarked plastic bottles also seems a bit more suspicous if your luggage is pulled
Also sniffer dogs? Not saying for a moment that the sprays are mixed with ‘doggie come on’ but are the contents/ingredients far enough away from drugs/C4 etc or any other other banned stuff (eg I think some place bans codine) that a sniffer dog won’t go beserk and you spend 48hrs upside down in the local jail…?
Anyone have any tips or experience? Or do I play safe and leave em home?
Been on many flights since getting my pheros, never had any problem with togo bottles in my briefcase. I’ve always opted, though, to put my 30mls in my suitcases, on the side of being cautious only
My only advice is to tape the screw-in tip of the togo and its body together, as i’ve experienced some leakage after the flights (minute drop or two in the bottle’s cap, insignificant amount really, but still, it’s valuable:o)
i’ve never had even one single problem carrying pheros on my person or carry on bags on any international flight over the years. can’t say the same for bottles of deodorant spray and contact solution though…
I’ve flown regularly with mones for 6 years on both USA and international flights, and never a single question or problem. I normally pack them in my checked bag but have also put them in a quart size baggie in my carry-on many times. I usually carry them in unmarked Sephora and togo atomizers, but have carried nearly empty A314 and SOE bottles. It wouldn’t be smart to carry a bottle clearly marked Ammunition nor bring 30ml glass bottles (may break or leak). Also, don’t carry them on your person as they may draw unwanted attention when you’re asked to empty your pockets.
This is an often asked question and there are dozen of similar threads from the last couple years.
Cheers for the tips - think I’ll decant the Ammo into another bottle of something…
Bringing something called ‘Ammo’ though an airport these days is just asking for trouble - there was even one guy here who was arrested/detained at a Uk airport (Heathrow) because he had a 'picture’of a gun (wielded by Optimus Prime) on his T-Shirt…
Seems that security now can’t draw distinction betwee real threats and fictional sci-fi robots on clothing… !
And, whatever you do, do not utter “dis is da bomb” in the secure area, even if you see something really cool or you friend breaks wind. Any overheard convo with profiled keywords such bomb, gun, ammo, etc., can get you dragged aside by a zealous TSA clone with a Hitler complex. At that point your mone supply and asshole (rubber glove of course) will be in eminent danger.
Being of middle-eastern ethnicity doesn’t help too much with this. I usually don’t carry anything on my carry-on luggage that I’m not willing to lose. If it’s important - it goes in my other bag.
I get stopped at EVERY airport I go through. Particularly if I’m travelling alone. Oh well. I get to skip the long lines, as I’m usually ushered to the front after they check my bags.
Speaking of atomizers, anyone have any experience with LS’s metallic atomizers and roll on bottles? How are they and how do they fare as far as fragility and leakage?
The small gold top roll-on is okay although I prefer using old SOE roll tops (larger and looser flow). I don’t care for the LS atomizers: too large, tends to leak in my suitcase and the tops fall off easily. The Sephora sliver atomizer is smaller, better made, has a finer mist and rarely leaks.
I flew within the USA last week and nothing was any different than a few months before. It’s mainly international flights with extra security although I’ve heard of random TSA crackdowns domestically. Carrying mones ain’t any more difficult than toothpaste, shampoo and cologne. No hand guns, knives or lighters in carry-ons and you should be fine. Probably a good idea to avoid storing extra gel packs in your panties! The body scanner will pick it up and that TSA agent will be smearing your TE and SOE on his lazy ass later. So far the only airport I’ve seen with a body scanner is Vegas.
Flew in Canada around Christmas time, had an unmarked to-go I forgot about in my carry-on. On the way back the security had increased due to the bomb scares. Never received a comment about it, and had no need to declare it as a liquid item as it’s under 5ml. I forget what the amount of liquid allowed is. Went right through the x-rays.
