I’m new here… I came by way of this site through my biochem research project at Trent U in Canada. I was writing a paper for a proposed scientific study involving the objective Z-score calculations which a woman’s hypothalamous experiences during pharamonal exposure and testing this on three different factors.
On a personal note, my wife left me for another man 6 months or so ago and I figured “in the field testing” might be just what I could use as of late . Sexual attractedness was one of the problems in our relationship too… in that I seem to have lost her interest. Perhaps pheromones could help me regain my confidence in that field.
I’m 25, in good health with a muscular build and an average face (the manly sort). I have alot going for me in terms of my “pick-up capacity”, but I could use a head-start when it comes to openers and I could use to enhance my “alpha-male presence”.
I was trolling about for a few hours, and I had decided on purchasing Instant Gentleman, Turn up the Heat and Instant Shine to begin my “field testing”. I’m worried that I have too much -none for Turn up the Heat naturally, and I’ll likely start with very low doses of that. I’m really looking forward to Instant Shine, as I’ve been less than my happy, well-natured self as of late. I’m hoping Instant Gentleman will enhance the way women who already know me, view me… in more of a “wow, I want to be with that guy” kind of way.
I don’t know exactly what I want from all of this, but I do know that I would like to be more social with women in general as noone likes to be lonely. If pheromones can help with TheLustEquation, then I will be a happy man!
One question I do have with using these products is the “cover-up”. Right now I own one cologn which was recommended by my wife… Hugo Boss’ Blue. Most posts I read here recommend citrus cents for the younger crowd. Is there a good reason for that? Will Blue work just as well for the product choices I’ve made? What specific cologns work best for you guys out there who use Turn up the Heat?
Hi and welcome, well for your none problem p79 might work better in that field but personally I’m 18 and I’ve never had trouble with none od and I think that it’s a bit overrated how everyone is so afraid of the none od which doesn’t even occur that much. I’ve used up to 6 sprays of Turn Up The Heat and have had no problems but if u are still worried then p79 is a very sexual putative that has shown no negative side effects so far. And as for the cover ups, the light neroli scent, as I was told, just helps to spread the aroma around and cover up the stinky smell but any other cologne substitute works just as well and u should have no problems with that.
Hey lustequation, welcome to the forum! It’s time to regain your confidence. As you are sure aware that pheromones are but a small part of the equation but they can defintely provide a good boost when used judiciously.
Some experimentation is in order with your new products. Try to use them one at a time to gat a feel for what they can do for you. Then you can consider combining them for more tailored effects.
Any cologne is fine, as long as it smells good to you and to people you want to affect. Younger women seem to like fresh, citrusy scents more. You will notice that a cologne which never got you any compliment on it’s own will start getting you compliments when used with a good pheromone product.
I like your choices for initial purchase. Please keep us posted on what you see with each. Good luck!
Wow… you guys are quick! I must say how impressed I am with the community here and all of the warm, helpful people posting.
The welcome PM is a nice touch too, Jasmine.
I’m going to try my best to keep in touch with the effects. Mind you, it will likely take a few weeks for my products to get to me.
Given your advice, I’m going to try to keep my current cologne and see how it mixes. I think my next order is going to include that p79 which has gotten amazing reviews thus far, as well as MX134 which had a nice, comical review by Jasmine.
…funny I’m already considering my “next order”. This seems to be alot of fun .
“Left you for a truck”!? I’ve seen guys pretty excited about trucks, but I always thought that you could have your truck and your wife too . I can’t help but picture him taking his truck to bed with him…
Aaanyway… another question for everyone:
What are your strategic reasons for putting particular pheromones in particular body places? I understand that some give yourself negative reactions and those might want to be placed further from your nose than others. Would there be a good reason why I’d want to put Instant Shine on my wrists, and Instant Gentleman behind my ears for instance?
I apply things I want to affect me to my chest, chin or under the jaw. IG usually goes on my chest.
I apply things I want to keep off my clothes to my hair or under my jaw. A314 goes under the jaw, IS and IO on my hair. Some pheremones can build up on clothing, causing unpredictable effects.
Application on the hair minimizes the effect on me, although I’m still quite definately in the pheremone cloud. I think the molecules tend to drift upwards off hot skin, so coming off the hair doesn’t give a self-dose as big as coming off the chest or under the jaw.
Now that I have some bearing on what this stuff is like, I have a point or two to consider as well…
My Instant Gentleman has a very wonderful, subtle smell… but its still very strong to me for the first half hour of application. I find that the hair makes this point that much more potent… as a spray to the hair would easilly be the place with the highest surface area, thus allowing for greater volitility.
I think the hair would be a good spot for a strong presence of pheromone which would likely die down faster than anywhere else. It seems extra potent for the first while in comparison to any other spot.
Hair is indeed good for diffusing pheremones. I’d venture to guess that that is the biological reason we retain hair under our armpits.
Head hair is cooler than the skin though. While it does have increased surface area I think the lower temperature decreases volatility. It seems to me hair applications last longer than skin applications. That’s just my impression though. It will be interesting to hear what others have to say.
Certainly higher temps will also increase volatility. It would be interesting to do a bit of a test - perhaps I’ll think about designing something…
Its also the case that human skin’s temperature varies from individual to individual - also from body part to body part. This will alter based on a number of variables including many environmental stresses including external temperature, humidity, air pressure, etc.
I know more than one woman who oddly enough has a nearly permanently colder stomach skin than the rest of their bodies - sometimes as much as 5 degrees (no, not measured with a thermometer ). This theory also gives rise to the underarm idea where both are maximized - one of the warmest skin-temperature parts of the body, as well as hair.
It should also be mentioned that the scalp gives off an extraordinary amount of heat. I suppose a significant hair “volume” would certainly counter-act that though. If one was to spray closer to “the scalp”, perhaps a very permeating “underarm” effect could be achieved…
I’ve mentioned in other threads the “devil horn” application - feel the crown of your head whereabouts your imaginary devil horns would be, and that is one of my favorite spaces to apply.
Funny you mentioned heat. I intuitively picked out hte devil horn application based on how I felt it work for me, both sillage-wise and longetivity-wise. Currently it’s my favorite application spot. Didn’t realize that these particular spots on my head are also the warmest.
Makes sense, though. Ever smell a baby’s head? The U-shaped crown, right around where the devil horns are, exudes the finest, most familiar, prettiest musky scent known to mankind. Baby musk, aka “Androstababyol”.
Other obscure warm spots of the body include the leg pits. No joke! Theatre ushers have reported to me that this is their favorite application point, because they leave a trail as they walk down the aisles, and that most customers noses are about level with his knee-sillage.
I just got a very short haircut. Almost a buzz cut but a little longer on top. It took off a couple of inches of hair. I’ll pay attention and see if I note any differences.
