The original ammo better not be replaced. If so, we can only blame young teens for this, lol. Wouldn’t (with P74) the “friends” effect put more guys in friend zone?![]()
Thats what I was thinking maybe you could get there and then move the relationship further but still..
In the US, strangely the answer is often yes. Someone won 1.7m for spilling coffee on their own lap at McDonalds. This is the “business chilling effect” that has moved almost everything new other than Silicon Valley offshore.
Notice US liability (a very real, onerous tax) is estimated at 100 times more costly in the US than even nanny state Europe. This is why even Europe has been making a comeback. They don’t have this particular problem.
This is why there’s no Bransons in the US. The UK is, again strangley, more conducive to business.
Some tech companies are even leaving. Microsoft and Oracle have slowly but surely been moving to the safer playing field of Ireland. You’d think it’d destroy mostly small and new businesses,. It does, but even with their seemingly infinite pot of money the giant businesses also can’t afford this kind of nonsense. Investors and smart business people alike won’t play with such levels of uncertainty.
Thanks. Unless his parents gave explicit permission, I’ll go ahead and cancel his account.
I didn’t know that. I never got a money order when I was that young. I’ll get rid of money orders.
There’s already an 18+ clause, and ample warnings all over this forum. You can’t claim you don’t know the dangers since we only advertise the forum and reject users who won’t participate.
Paypal now takes under 18s? That’s a tougher one, but we already have a checkout agreement that should cover that. I’ll check.
You can’t be 100% kid proof, but you have to try your best to be to show good faith under the law. If you’re implying you’re under 18, you now need to prove parental permission.
I love kids, but they shouldn’t use certain components such as a1 and none. Also, in the US I just can’t afford the liability. Sorry, but this is not the land of the free in the way that you may have heard. I wish it was, but it isn’t. If I see evidence of violation of those rules, I’m now obligated to take action. With your admission, you have to send explicit parental permission to continue here. That’s the way the US works, not me.
What ebay does is up to them. Same with amazon. If we sold on either, they’d take the liability hit for selling to the wrong people I’m sure, since they would then be the seller that’s in error. We don’t have the resources they do. You can’t compare us since many small businesses cannot afford the legal assistance the big ones can.
Maybe in the new cart we can make a social level that excludes chems like androstenone, a1, etc. Some parents have bought social stuff for kids, but most wouldn’t want them using anything hairier. Our new cart is a little smarter. I’ll have to ask the lawyer what might be okay for the Androtics reboot. For now, get your parents to fax in a signed permission note. I know that option always seems to be valid.
