Our Q&A and Official Announcements for Reporting Users. Only our approved PheromoneTalk members may access this Putative Forum. Welcome! ![]()
As we handle conference calls and meetings, Brian and Jay approve some basic rules, passing them on to you and your Androtics Team of Research Assistants, Party Hosts and Customer Service. Please read and heed these announcements and ask questions.
Reverse Engineering And Other Vendors
We actively discourage discussions of other vendor products and combos in this private forum. The reports usually are unhelpful to our internal R&D.
Use of your Reporting User discount for reverse engineering or decoding of putatives violates our Terms of Service. We take a very dim view of online discussions about matching putatives to named molecules or sprays selling on other sites. We feel these companies should do their own research and not usurp ten years of our money and labor.
If you choose this path, you risk loss of access to this forum and discounts. We will provide a polite warning to you. In extreme cases you may lose access to our experimental molecules. Please don’t ask us for expensive P96, P86 or P93 whilst undermining our goals. ![]()
Benefits And Expectations
If you’re reading this, we’ve made you an Reporting User. We’ve given you access to putatives dosing and effects that’d take a fortnight to search out yourself.
For this benefit, we expect of you:
Please report on primarily putatives. We’d prefer tests on the spray alone for self and social effects.
You may discuss your results, but please don’t demand your fellow users agree with your report. Even markedly differing doses and results on the same P are useful data to our goals.
You may discuss combinations of P’s with other Androtics products.
Discussions that descend into anarchy or are inconsistent with sound research and unbiased data may be placed into moderation for 30 days.
We require R. Users test and provide some feedback in some way on a putative, MX or other experimental. MX’s have their own assigned reporting threads. You may also use phone or email. We’ll allow you to lurk here if you choose, but you must still report on something at least twice yearly or risk losing the discount.
There is a special rule for MX: Please offer feedback of some kind on every ordered MX.
Since we’ve years of data on P74, we’ll not be so strictly watching those.
It’s P86, P132, P93 & etc. (ones with scant reports) we’re on about. If the P86 or some other thread turns to rubbish, we’ll moderate for 30 days until it goes right again.
In sum, we review the Reporting Users list twice yearly. Clients who’ve reported poorly may receive a warning to include loss of discount or loss of access here. We’ll look to send an updated password near to every 6 mos.
Unauthorised password sharing will be monitored and handled as circumstances warrant. Please don’t.
We’ve set this private area near to exactly like Store Announcements and Feedback. We’ll ask you carefully polish your report and press send. We’ll record and approve it. You’ll see it within 30 days.
Future Plans
We’ve updated this thread with new and revised posts. Please read them. We’ll convert the whole lot gradually to a password-locked private forum with limited supervision.
Reporting Users shall have full access to read and post. Brian is looking over perhaps allowing Non-Reporting Users subscription access on a moderated basis. In no case will we sanction rubbish tests, promotional material, quarrels or users that interfere with the polite endeavours of other clients, regardless of experience level or subscription.
Sounds excellent.
Great idea, very welcome
This is a nice new direction for Androtics. In the past if I wanted to know about a putative I’ve had to pour through pages and pages and pages of reports from posters.
I finally decided to narrow down my search using only the posters whose findings coincided with mine. I found that Tactius’ writings were invaluable (once you deciphered what he was saying). Warren and a handful of othere were spot on with their findings.
By the time they landed on Pherotalk many of the posters with the best observation skills had already cut their teeth at the Lovescent forum. They learned how to make observations and report accurately. Most of them posted at Lovescent for about 2 or 3 years before they came here.
The majority of those old posters are no longer on this forum and the new crop of posters here have yet to learn how to observe behavior. They are making combos (i.e. IJ+IH+IS) before they have tested any of the components solo.
What kind of Chef would just add ingredients without knowing what they taste like?
I have found that almost all putatives change their character according to the dosage. I recently posted a test of the putative P86 in which I found that P86 has different characteristics at 1.25 mcg’s than the popular dosage of 40 mcg’s. It is necessary to check all dosages from .625 to 500 mcg’s to really “know” a putative.
We have in here findings from some of the greats. Although there are some new testers in here all reporting testers must meet the criteria for being a reporting poster.
With that being said I hope that this resource helps to move the pheromone world forward.
