I’ve been meaning to ask about this in a theoretical way for a while, but I have a long day tomorrow, and I thought it would be a good time to find out what you all think.
I’ll be having 5 meetings with clients tomorrow, each about 60 mins long. The phero I’m currently testing is ammo. According to my test schedule, I should be wearing 2 togo shots tomorrow. AFAIK the duration of ammo is said to be 6 hours. Here’s what my day looks like:
12.00 Client #1 (female)
16.30 Client #2 (female, first meeting with new client)
18.00 Client #3 (female)
19.45 or 20.15: Client #4 (female)
20.40 or 21.15: Client #5 (male).
I just noticed the least important client from the point of view of testing ammo (because he’s male) is last. So I could let the 6h duration elapse during that last meeting. But sometime clients #4 and #5 swap places, so let’s try to cover that last slot.
Clearly if I was to apply the two shots before 16.30, I’d have 2x ammo for clients #2-#5, which would be ideal - and it’s what I’ll do if there’s no other satisfactory solution. But if I want to include client #1 in the fun, what would be the best application regime?
Perhaps 2x at 11.00 or 11.30, topping up with one just after 17.30? Would that ensure anything like 2x ammo during all 5 meetings? I know there’s no easy way of measuring this; I’m just curious what people think, and what people’s experience has been.
(It might also be possible to work out a rough model based on a simplified description of how these things diffuse. Or an even simpler model, like a poisson process. But hopefully someone else has done this already
. For the moment I’m just looking for anecdotes and advice!)
