Day three - Three 1.5cm spots of Jasmine, each side of neck and between wrists, the remains of my workday A314 and one spray 2xTUTH.

A lot of interest - Two younger women - mid 20s, one leaning out from behind her friend to keep checking me out, some huddled chatter and her friend (slightly younger) started rather unsubtly checking me out as well.

An older - late 30s East European woman, solid eye contact and big smiles as I sat nearby and when I left. We have done a bit of light flirting before though.

A guy - became quite animated, smiling and “What’s that amazing smell!” Okay…!

A red haired woman 20s/early 30s. Walking towards me - she stopped dead, looked around slightly, locked eyes with me and broke into a huge smile. Not quite DIHL - she knew what she was feeling and liked it! :smiley:

I got a question.

I’m trying to duplicate the results of the Hedione in my acqua di gio, by mixing up my own Hedione spray at the same concentration of Hedione.
I’ve found more than one source on the web say that acqua di gio has 25% Hedione, but what I’m having trouble with is finding out how much of ADG is ‘non fragrance’.
Most sources I’ve been reading say Eau de toilettes usually only contain about 7-12% fragrance.

Does anybody know how much ADG is ‘non fragrance’ or how much it is likely to be?

Yes - it will be expressed as a percentage of the scent concentrate, not the total volume of cologne. 7-12% sounds about right to me.

Also remember that many perfumers also add some water to their alcohol, to help regulate the drying-down time - so the difference in volume won’t always be purely alcohol.

Thanks. Yeah I forgot about the water part. In fact I think ADG has more water than alcohol.
Ok. So 25% of 7-12% would probably mean I should mix up a batch with 1.75-3% Hedione, I think, to get similar results.

I made a ~2% Hedione batch last night in a 30ml. I will test and report results.

Definite progress with the Jasmine - be it Hedione-enhanced or not.

Wednesday - Working part of a two-day recruitment thing for high-flying young prospects. The ones we really want to hire!

A314may not have been the best choice for this as their youth and the sort of environments/experience sessions they were attending may have resulted in some being a bit reticent and even overawed by me but we got a good look at them and they got a good look at us.

However, there was a dinner at the end of the first day and whilst I was waiting for them to arrive, I’d added three 1.5cm spots of Jasmine from the roller and this raven-haired absolute vision in a very sexy black lacy outfit passed by. I’ve never met her or even seen her about before but apparently she works for us and had been asked to give a bit of a speech about joining/fitting right-in.

She was nervous - she shook my hand - she held-on to my hand and just started talking, talking and talking, constantly, furiously, with lots of touching and with a considerably lightening mood for the next half hour until the rest of them began to arrive. I was glad for the break! :open_mouth: :smiley:

The prospects were also much better around me once I had the Jasmine on - More visibly relaxed, chattier, happy/friendly, more willing to speak their minds and less visibly stressed. Which was good.

Thursday night - This was the clincher. Used it with a full-on sexual/status mix.

Brazillian fallout was back from a trip home lasting a few weeks. She likes it overt, so I met her with 3 drops A314, 25mcg P96 and two sprays IJ, plus 4 1.5cm spots of Jasmine.

Now she’s usually upbeat and pleased to see me but this time I have never seen her so animated, playful and touchy-feely, straight-off. I usually meet her from work and she keeps her distance with a good bit of anticipatory/flirty eye contact/playfulness before getting inexorably closer but this time, she was full-on all-over me from seconds after I got in phero range, touching, stroking, laughing, leaning-back whilst looking up at me and actually dancing around me at times. :slight_smile:

And pretty rapidly after we got out, she determined to show me that the quite incredible tan she’d come back with was absolutely all-over. :smiley:

So what I’m getting from this one - Natural or Hedione-enhanced is that this is a light, playful, sociable, relaxing and attractive substance that complements sexual and status products in a non-damaging but engaging way.

From my reading, it seems there are potentially three compounds in natural Jasmine with potential as pheromones, one being the natural Hedione so it could be this alone, or the interaction of all three but the effects in different situations are mounting-up.

And I’ve just had another good hit whilst typing all this-up. Attractive 30s woman with youngster - lots of flirty looks, smiles and laughs over the antics of her little terror in the pushchair. I caught her checking me-out behind me in the queue and after I sat down, she chose the table right next to me - despite the place being half-empty and it being the very worst place for a pushchair in the whole shop! :smiley:

And interestingly, not long after application, I got talking to a young guy who has seemed a bit odd/reticent/shy and has barely ever said more than two words to me before - but tonight, we talked at considerable length about racing. Tonight its three 1.5cm spots over the end of my work A314 and one spray 2x TUTH

Yes - Light, sociable, relaxed/easygoing and feelgood.

So far I would say the effects of Jasmine/Jasmonate seems to sit at the centre of an axis between TAA, Alphanol, P91 and maybe P130 or even P83 - with some qualities of each but not others and not at the same strength. Which is good as it seems to mean Jasmine is usable in ways/combos/situations that each of those individual pheros may not be suitable for.

I can see how traditionally natural Jasmine was one of the most prized/rarest perfume components because of the amount of flowers needed to produce usable strengths/quantities - which is where Hedione comes-in.

I can also see how it was often used alongside some of the more difficult scents/components as well - like strong musks or woody scents to mitigate/moderate their potentially pheromonal effects.

But like Hedione, it really lights-up when you pair it with a sexual or status phero.

Got going with the Swiss Arabian Jasmine today - Its got a good natural Jasmine scent to it, although not quite as truly natural as the ASAQ. It is also fully usable as a cover scent all by itself, although for a guy, you may want a little something behind it to masculinise if. I tried a tiny drop of natural rose but added-in something richly woody after two hours when the Rose faded - that complemented it very well indeed.

Pheros involved were 2 sprays 2x TUTH and with the Jasmine - 2 1.5cm spots due to its fragrance strength, it proved unhesitatingly social/sexy and flirty - good fun over a wife range of women, incl a major bit of attention-getting from a girl who must have been 18 at most - and she went away and came-back to try it-on all over again. :smiley:

Got chatting to a pretty Polish woman, prob 30s who was waiting to go to a train. Easy, playful, sexy, funny talk. Similar-aged blonde woman nearby was going bright red and listening-in on everything from behind her magazine. Played peek-a-boo with a younger, early 20s woman over her plump friend’s shoulder - and the friend was doing her own bit of checking me out from time to time.

All the harshness of TUTH in daytime was conspicious by its absence. :slight_smile:

  1. Which jasmine were you wearing in the post above I use A314+P96 regularly and it is gold.

  2. How do you get dose your jasmine?

The second one - which having had a couple of outings of the purest stuff I’m now convinced is mainly Hedione, with only a small proportion of natural Jasmine.

Dose - fairly rough. I’m using spots of between roughly 1.5 and 1cm (depending on scent strength) from the products with a roller and a glass rod to spread a drop out to about 1cm spots from the real thing.

I’ve found a couple of suppliers of natural Oakmoss oil as well - I’m wondering what a few drops of that might do to a togo of Ammo or TUTH.

I really need a natural oils habit like a hole in the head, don’t I? - its getting almost as bad pheros themselves! :open_mouth: :smiley:

It was indeed and it was regulatory changes in the States that killed it-off. However these didn’t apply in the EU, although most cologne makers complied so as not to lose their US sales.

A long shot would be to ask the admin what or if there was a certain type they used. Since they cannot put it into ammo anymore I doubt they would mind.

What does oakmoss do?

It has had attractive, status, sexual and masculine attributes claimed for it since it appeared in the first Chypre scent at the start of the 20th Century. And the scent is a winner - again it is the basis for the formulas of many “classic” attractive scents. Chanel No5 was originally Oakmoss/Deer Musk based (lost the deer musk in early 1980s, replaced by the synthetic Muscone) and Chanel No19, Guerlian, CK-One, and others used it to varying degrees.

Looks like an EU Ban is not far away too. :frowning:
