I found a fabulous site for food scents, and thought I’d share. These are oils, and extremely cheap. I ordered Pumpkin, Licorice, Cherry Extra, Butterscotch, Cinnamon, Coconut, Vanilla, and Wild Muscadine.
This site was a new find, so I haven’t ordered from them in the past. I placed my first order with them today.
These are concentrated scents used in candles, soaps, etc., probably in essential oil strength. So, I’m gonna use them sparingly, with caution, adding just a bit here and there to mixes. I ordered some propylene glycol from Androtics today, so I’m gonna try stabilizing some of my better test mixes and adding scent to help the diffusion along.
I really want to get completely away from anything that has any floral scent (other than lavender). In addition to pheromones, I am also very much into making my own massage oils, lotions, and bath salts. These along with the citruses I already have (Bergamot, Grapefruit) should make for some interesting home products… heh!
Yes, to the men! Men seem to find tantalizing food scents even more appealing than women do.
Did you see the “Buttered Popcorn” scent? LOL! I may have to try that one.
You guys will have to report on the scents you try out. I’ve wasted a lot of money on foodie scented oils over the years, only to be disappointed when they arrive and smell like chemicals. Vanilla-based scents are especially prone to this, I have found.
On that note, the vanilla-coconut scent in the women’s p74 test pack is excellent. I wish I could find this in an oil.
5 parts Lavender eo
7 parts Pumpkin
1-2 parts Cinnamon
I’m not sure if this is the kind of scent that will cover cops, but it is great for other phero-mixes. The cinnamon and the lavender gives it a really nice diffusion, and the pumpkin is very nice low key clean note.
I add 4-5 drops of this to 5 mL of pheromone mixture. It is not overpowering at all.
