Hi Folks, I am a widower (44yr married). My wife passed 2 yrs. ago. I have been pretty bummed about the loss of my love. Friends have been trying to get me actively looking for a companion of some sort. I am not into the bar scene. More outdoors person. So I have been out of the dating scene for 47 yrs. 44 yrs married, 1yr. dating wife, 2 yrs since her passing. I am 71yrs. old but still horny as hell.

Question, is it lame to try some pheromone products to help with my shyness and lack of dating skills? I would be more into the mature women but if younger gals get interested I certainly wouldn’t push them away!
So anything available for for me? Any help for an Oldgrayfart?

I’d say you would do best with a strong alpha mix. Since this place is currently not processing orders, I’d suggest something like Bad Wolf or Dirty Primitive. Available from other vendors.

I forgot to mention that I am not an alpha male type. Not a very gregarious person, but in the correct social group I can and do interact well. More of a nerd. Chemist and Astronomer over my work life.

At your age, I would suggest you go with an Androstenone-heavy mix because as we age, our Androstenone output falls.

As Wotan suggests, Alpha products also come in to their own for dating as we age. Women do move towards liking an Androstenone/Androsterone vibe on a wider level as they age too - which is good because it also helps project that “man of the hills” vibe nicely.

Personally, I would be less worried about projecting “Alpha” in the strictest sense and more look to present a mature, capable, well-rounded and sexually confident vibe to the world.

However if you prefer, an Androstenone-heavy, sexual/social mix can still be very viable.

Normal practice would be to get a couple of products - An overt sexual, plus a status product and a social product, so you can cover a broad range till you find what works best for you but even though AD is not selling for now, there are other firms that sell good stuff.

In addition to Wotan’s suggestions above, I would suggest you consider TUSC or Titan - status and Manimal-2 - sexual, from Apex, Evolve or Domination - sexual, Xi-st - Connecting/bonding and Exotica - social/light sexual from PXS. Liquid Alchemy is another excellent vendor but beset with order problems just now, so its up to you but I would say tat Copulin/Sexual-based products like Dirty Primitive are IME best used in the ONS arena as they tend to do best with the sort of women you might have some fun with but don’t want to look for love or anything long-term with.

NPA from Lacroy (not Lovescent!) is also worth considering, along with Edge - both are heavy-hitters that suit the mature man well but the company can be annoyingly slow to deliver.

Another tip is that when it comes to sexual products and dose, you will probably need to dose high due to age, so don’t be afraid to go beyond doses you see younger guys using Dose is less of an issue with status and social products though.

For AD products - once they get going again, I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest - TUTH, 5.0mcg version - sexual, A314 - status, MX297 - social, and IO or the IH/IS combination - social

M3X and get a trial of Titan by Apex, Alpha Treasures by Pheromone Treasures, NPA Touch by Lacroy, Alpha Q by S1ck jewelry/LAL, Alpha Maschio by Alpha Dream, Sob spray and Evolve oil by Pheromone XS, Wanted Man and Heart Throb by LPMP, are all good to increase your signature. Nude Alpha oil (if you are looking for a relationship) and Dirty Primitive (ONS) at Liquid Alchemy Labs but you have to email them first to order.

Keep checking back as Ammo, Tuth and A314 would all do very well for you.

Folks, I appreciate all the help from the forum, since I am very new to this I need to do some more research but I believe that your answers probably have given me a very good starting place.
I would like to know when the company that most people seem to talk about and their product line (AD) will go back to providing product. Does anyone know this answer? Also are Love Scent products any good? They are only 130 miles from my home.

Love Scent are a reseller, not a manufacturer - Although they have had a number of products made for sale under their own name. Some of their stock is very good indeed, other lines are more pedestrian but I don’t think I’ve ever had anything actively bad from them. Post-up the names of the products you are interested in and we will do our best to help out. I for one used Lovescent before I found AD and still use them for some products I can’t get anywhere else - The only other issue I have with Lovescent is that they use Fedex and USPS for shipping to the UK, which almost always gets me hit with a hefty customs surcharge. AD’s past shipping only very rarely had this happen.

The only thing I’d actively avoid buying from Lovescent at our age is NPA - Not because its a bad product, more because they changed manufacturer and formula last year. The current product they sell is a more social/sexy/younger-oriented formula compared to the old heavy-hitter that was produced for them by Lacroy, who continue to sell it themselves. What particularly grinds is that Lovescent took far too long to tell us about this change.

If Lovescent are nearby, they may be a better firm to use but AD has a past rep for excellent delivery and we hope that comes back when the new store opens. Some of the competition (notably PXS) can be just as good - As an idea, before their current troubles, I usually had AD consumer line products delivered to me in Scotland within 48hours of an order confirmation, whilst experimental products came-in at around 5-7 days. Despite having product in stock, no UK/EU supplier ever matched that!

From LoveScent, I’d recommend you go with the time-tested combo of Alpha 7 + Scent of Eros. The reason I’m pushing you towards the more alpha mixes is because you describe yourself as shy. Alpha mixes have self effects that might help overcome your shyness. And women in the 50+ age range respond better to the heavier mixes.

As a new user, Alpha Treasures and Alpha Q both are alpha blends but use social status to remain friendly and approachable rather then creating distance but have sexual features. Some people find standard alpha blends to be a bit difficult to act the part of an alpha male, which those two dont have despite being a status blend. Alpha Maschio gives you self confidence and kills anxiety to approach and makes you witty and a bit more youthful looking, then creates a high status vibe and both attraction and comfort within 7-60 seconds and is now made in an alcohol base. M3X is both a status and sexual blend that includes touching, people invading your space or hovering around you and disinhibition, beautification and more. Titan is an status blend with sexual overtones. Sob, like NPA and Heart Throb and Dirty Primitive and Tuth are more sexual and appeal to women looking for sex rather then relationships. Wanted Man is a strait alpha signature with no buffers or socials which works best when someone has low natural phero levels. Nude Alpha and X ist are more relationship oriented with imprinting and crush effects, although X ist is lower in androstenone so a bit better for those with higher natural levels. NA can imprint you as well so its best used with a specific target rather then with everyone. Evolve starts more friendly and attraction to build comfort and gets more sexual over a few hours. Both evolve and alpha q have reported enhanced orgasms for women. Alpha Q interestingly doesnt use TAC to create this effect.

New Pheromone Additive by Love Scent now contains an additional 1mg of Alpha Androstenol, is based in oil and not alcohol, and uses a different supplier now for their pheromones. The Alpha Androstenol makes that version lean more social, and so those with low natural phero levels will find it doesnt work as well while those with higher natural levels are fine with it. Its still possible to get through Lacroy directly however, as well as a new version that is already mixed for proper dosing and easier to use (NPA Touch) and that version works well for those with low phero levels and they are the original supplier, just will take a few weeks to receive. Love Scent and Lacroy ran into difficulties with getting large commercial shipments to the USA, and so Love Scent at this time no longer uses Lacroy as the supplier, however the owners of both companies are close friends.

Here was the reason Daryn of Lacroy gave me about the problem: After doing many years of good business with Bruce we introduced Edge TRUST which contained Oxytocin which was following the likes of Liquid Trust. Unbeknown to us and Bruce, this became a classified product or a prescription drug and therefore not allowed into USA commercially. As a result of that change and holding up of one shipment of Oxytocin in Trust, the customs subsequently required analytical testing of our other products. Following this shipment (which was returned to us) we sent 2 other shipments to Bruce but again these were scrutinized and all products tested. This was costly, timely and a nightmare for both our companies . We discontinued using oxytocin when this happened and now Edge TRUST is reformulated.

Yup - This is a classic combination and both are well established/respected products. A7 has always delivered its best around more mature women for me but I must say it can be a bit heavy going on its own and does benefit from steering with a social or a more complex/nuanced alpha product.

Self effects TBH are highly variable between individuals - some people get them strongly and yes they can help but its a double-edged sword as others can find the mixes compound their shyness and some women can find an overt/alpha mix more difficult to respond to if congruent behaviour is absent. In those cases, a social is usually the best way to go.

This is why it is important to try products over a range - Sexuals will almost certainly benefit you but socials or status products - test to see what works best for you, your personality and situation. Quality suppliers are usually very good about letting you return products that don’t work for you for refund/exchange. AD was the best in the business for a long time but Lovescent, PXS and other top-end suppliers have all caught-up.

Yes, it would to a degree - Maybe don’t go quite so heavy on the Androstenone but I was certainly into the 5mcg TUTH, NPA and Heavy Ammo as standard products by the time I hit 50.

With women, IME the big change seems to be from their early thirties onwards, when they move from liking a more balanced social/sexy signature to a more overt sexual and often status-based signature and by the time they hit their 40s, you can use overt Androstenone around them much more freely. Socials do retain value at all ages though, depending on situation and you can still find exceptions to this at any age, either way.

So its a matter of testing to see what does best for you in your particular range of interactions.

I would like to thank all of the folks that responded to my original post.Since AD labs is non existent at the time being I went with the Love Scent products. I talked to a very nice lady at LS, and she was very helpful with my situation. She recommended the very same products folks on this forum recommended to me.
I bought the LS pheromone sample for men to give me a bit of an opportunity to do a bit of experimenting. I have had company for a week so no real chance to try and samples yet.
I might ad I ordered my product late Thursday afternoon and had it in hand Saturday!! A bit unfair to the East coast folks because I only live about 130 miles from the company, but still! I am going grocery shopping tomorrow where there is an abundance of all types of women.

Excellent - Have fun. That’s the main thing - don’t get caught in a cycle of micro-analysing every slight response. That is almost always a self-defeating strategy.

Well I tried some scents at the grocery store but I think I under dosed. Not really sure if I am supposed to use a full gel pack or not. I did get a bit of interest but nothing great. Just inexperience.

On another note I just found out that this forum is an AD labs forum. Sorry for my lack of knowledge about that fact. I really want to use their products and everyone suggests what to use but if the product isn’t available what is one to do.

I wondered why I wasn’t offered the gift coupon until I reread some of my posts and mentioned a different product line. OOPS, my bad. Sorry.

I really do want AD products. Time to reclaim my life and you folks are very helpful to me. THANKS

Which gel packs did you use? IIRC there is an issue with at least some of LS’s gels not actually containing the product named on the pack. Scent of Eros is one - you can find the post by JV Kohl disowning it on this very board!

Personally I’ve not done very well with any gel pack, except from HAX - and they can be difficult to dose.

Yes, it is a bind that we can’t really recommend AD products whilst the store is closed. So until they start moving product again, I would hope the restrictions on discussion are suitably relaxed so we can suggest some available alternatives? Even though AD might have been our mainstay for pheros, most of us regulars have our own favourites from the competition as well - even if we don’t talk about them so much on here. :slight_smile:

Usually, half a gel pack is a good starting point. And remember, just smelling “phermoney” isn’t going to make people flock to you. You will still need to initiate most encounters and show that your personality is in sync with the phero cloud surrounding you.

Pheromones can make people more likely to extend conversations with you, but they don’t make you an unavoidable sex-magnet.

Right now I am not interested in the Sex attraction so much. My interest is more the social end to meet and attract women with verbal intercourse to get to know and start to feel comfortable with women. I have been out of the dating game for 47 yrs. so just being able to be able to talk with another woman would make me feel very good. That’s the starting point, to make someone feel at ease with me so we could have a good chat.

A good at ease, I am trustworthy, chatty pheromone would do what I need to accomplish now. I am shy as I mentioned earlier, but once the ice is broken I can carry on a conversation quite well. The ice breaker is the issue with me.

That’s a good place to be starting from - In my situation, I had been out of it for the best part of ten years, due to a doomed LTR and it took me long enough to get my old social skills back and build-up a new set of people/situations to use them around.

Once I got comfortable again there and OK, with a few brief/pleasant surprises on the way, I started to look at more full-on, bonding/relationship-centric mones and mixes but TBH, I now ration any woman’s exposure to me and half the time, I’m still having fun and exploring what mones can do across a broad spectrum of applications. :slight_smile:

I still think that once AD gets back in its stride, you need to be exploring the Instant Honesty/Instant Shine combo, which sounds right-up your street and it can easily be driven/transitioned with a sexual like TUTH when the time is right. :slight_smile:

Tuth which is just the sexual, A314 which is a high status and trust blend, and Instant Openness and Come Talk to me for blends of alpha androstenol and beta androstenol that get others to chat and open to you along with some trust and bonding to keep in mind for whenever they are available for sale again.

You can try Scent of Eros at love scent then since you said you’d like to buy from that company, which is mostly alpha androstenol that gets women to start talking to you without prompting, combined with a bit of status boost to make you more manly, and is in a nice musk scent for attraction when you buy the scented bottle oil version (not the gel). Your natural levels of the sexual/status pheromones may be lower and so you can balance the signature from being too friendly by adding some Primal Instinct for a sexual boost, or Alpha 7 that adds more of the status also plus the sexual boost. Or just use Alter Ego which is more similar to Ammo as a more all in one product.
